0:46 Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John gift of podcast. Is such a joy for me to join you today as we are doing the series on understanding how you and I are not just by ourselves, but we have the favor of God resting upon us. We are engulfed by the favor of God, and the favor of God surrounds us, which excuves us so many benefits. And today, one of the things I wanted to understand about the benefit of having the favor of God with us is the fact that when we are working in our God given calling and our purpose.

1:14 Speaker 2: And when we want to fulfill heart purpose that God has created us for and to build the Kingdom of God, you need to understand that the favor of God will cause you to go places that you cannot go on your own. See, I'm all in for a lot of things that we have to go by, like, for example, the things that we need to do. We a person of excellence, have the spirit of excellence in everything that we do, walking in integrity, going the extra mile, working under God and not onto man. We have to be people who are disciplined and focused, putting in the hard work that needs to be done, and not real lazy and complacent.

1:47 Speaker 2: There's a place for all of that, you know. We say, like, you know, I worked hard and I was able to achieve that's pure motivation. But I want you to understand, Yes, your heart work can take you to a level, but there is a level that the favor of God can take you which no amount of hard work can take you. You know, when you understand and walk in that awareness that you carry the favor of God upon your life, you will not limit what or the level to which the Lord wants to take you like, for example, when you think about Joseph, right right from the beginning, he had negative things and the negative things happening in his life.

2:21 Speaker 2: We see the moment when Joseph saw a moment where he was thrown in the pit, and then he's sold as a slave, and then he's wrongly accused. He's in the prison. See, by normal means, even if he proved his innocence, at the most he could leave the prison and walk as a free man. Or maybe he worked hard, he was able to get a good job. You know, he was already the one who was like a prison I mean, a leader in the prison. Right, here's the thing. You could probably become a manager in a prisoner or manager.

2:51 Speaker 2: I mean, that's the maximum he could do by the end of his life span, by just hard work, by just being good, but just being kind, by just being a person who's focused and discipline. But what happened when the favor of God was upon Joseph's life From the prison, he went to the palace, He went to the second highest position in the most popul nation in the world of that time, that was Egypt. That cannot happen by just hard work. That cannot happen by just you know, being kind to people. That happened because of the favor of God.

3:24 Speaker 2: That's what I want to tell you something, Right, there are two things. When people put their whole crust and reliance on their own efforts, their own heart work, their own accomplishments, where they come from, their own background and all of these things, what happens is it's all about them. But today my challenge is stop thinking about you and understand that you know what, Beyond all of that, there is a favor of God upon your life which can take you places you can't go on your own. It's not your hard work that can help you fulfill your purpose that.

3:52 Speaker 2: It's not just your discipline and your lifestyle that can help you get and achieve your dreams. It is the favor of God that has to help you to do that. See, when you think about this moment, you may feel like John, God has given me this big dream, this big vision. In the natural, there's no way it can happen. Can I tell you something, Yes, in the natural it may be looking like a mission impossible, but we serve a supernatural God who can do the impossible. And he's saying you know what I just I'm not just saying you've got to figure things out.

4:22 Speaker 2: I'm going to enable you to do that by my favor. Think about this, guys, because why when Joseph reached the palace, it was not about Joseph enjoying a vacation in the palace. When Joseph reached the palace, he was able to serve people. He was able to see people affected by the family. When God wants to promote you, elevate you, and take your places that you can't go on your own, it's just not about you building your own empire. It is for you to build His kingdom through your life. To think about this today, other areas in your life are you're limiting what God wants to do in your life because you're just looking at it in the natural.

4:59 Speaker 2: The Lord is saying, dream big, have a bigger vision, have a bigger mindset about where I want to take you. I want you to understand that God wants to exceed your expectations in any area of your life. Maybe with regard to your career, you're saying, oh, this level is enough for me. I just need to pay my bills, No, ask God for more. So that you can not only pay your bills, but you can pay somebody else's bills. Or you're saying, my business, I just have to make ends meet. No no, no, no, ask God for more.

5:24 Speaker 2: So that your business can be in a position and can dictate terms of policies in the government, or you can have greater influence, or it could be a greater source of financial blessing to charitable organizations, to ministries and all of that. You know. See for example, me running this ministry. I work in a cool full time corporate job. I'm an I ROWS space engineer, and I'm running this ministry. Everything that I do is pretty expensive. Everything goes out in like so many dollars, Like I'm not sure if you're aware of it.

5:53 Speaker 2: The hosting platform is around like fifty dollars every month, the podcast see your Platforms, platforms another like I think twenty twenty five dollars. Every thing goes in dollars fifty twenty five to thirty. I mean, like just so much going on for a television ministry, for the shooting and the recording for the videos and YouTube. And I mean, I'm telling you nothing is free, like even as an organization, as a ministry. When I'm running this ministry, we have yearly aud It's happening. I mean, nothing is free.

6:24 Speaker 2: So instead of just having a small vision, like if I just had a small vision like oh you know what, God just helped me go through, it can't happen. Guys, you need to be in that position where you're saying, God, help me to have a bigger vision. Like Joseph. He was just in a normal place, but the Lord took him to the palace beyond what he could have to think. Ord imagine, because that's the kind of God we so he wants to exceed expectations. He wants you to have a bigger vision so that you can be a greater blessing.

6:53 Speaker 2: You can build the Kingdom of God, be the light in the darkness. Maybe if you have a desire to work towards your YouTube channel or to write a book, or even got to your calling, or even if the Lord is putting in your heart to take a step towards you know, the entertainment industry, you know, or politics or anything all that needs a lot of investment, money and a bigger vision and a bigger leap of faith that you need to take and I'm challenging you to have that heart. I'm challenging you to have that heart so that you know what you don't just live for yourself, but say, God, with your favor, I'm going to have a bigger life, a bigger vision.

7:34 Speaker 2: I will be able to be a greater blessing to multitudes. Can you have that heart because the favor of God will take you places that you cannot go on your own.
