1:00 Speaker 2: But I want to just talk about this important aspect

1:02 Speaker 2: right Like when you look at the scripture that says

1:04 Speaker 2: in Romans eight, verse fourteen, for those who are led

1:07 Speaker 2: by the Spirit are sons of God, you know, which

1:10 Speaker 2: is a classic thing where the Bible says that we

1:12 Speaker 2: need to be led by the Holy Spirit. When you

1:14 Speaker 2: look at Galatians five or sixteen, it says that we

1:17 Speaker 2: need to walk in the spirit and we will not

1:20 Speaker 2: gratify the desires of the flesh. And if you look

1:24 Speaker 2: at John sixteen thirteen, again, this is what it says.

1:27 Speaker 2: When the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you

1:31 Speaker 2: into all the truths. So these are different scriptures talking

1:35 Speaker 2: about guidance, being led, and being in that place where

1:40 Speaker 2: you're walking in the spirit. So today you may be

1:44 Speaker 2: in a place in your life where you're saying, John,

1:46 Speaker 2: how do I apply this in my life? How do

1:48 Speaker 2: I walk in the spirit? How do I be in

1:51 Speaker 2: a place where I'm led by the Holy Spirit? Right? See,

1:53 Speaker 2: I want to understand. Imagine you are driving a vehicle

1:57 Speaker 2: from one city to another. Imagine you're traveling from let's

2:01 Speaker 2: say Bangalore in India all the way to Mumbai in India.

2:06 Speaker 2: Right Like, just imagine, So you're driving and there are

2:09 Speaker 2: two options available for you. One option is the owner

2:13 Speaker 2: of the vehicle is saying, you know what, yes, the vehicle,

2:16 Speaker 2: you just follow this map and you'll be able to

2:18 Speaker 2: reach Right. That's a great option for you. You can

2:21 Speaker 2: follow the map and you will be able to reach.

2:23 Speaker 2: But the problem is it may tell you all the

2:25 Speaker 2: fuel stations on the way, it will tell you all

2:27 Speaker 2: the different restaurants on the way, but the map cannot

2:30 Speaker 2: tell you which field station gives you good fuel and

2:33 Speaker 2: which one gives you an adulterated fuel. The map will

2:36 Speaker 2: not tell you which restaurant serves the food that you

2:40 Speaker 2: may like and which one serves food which may not

2:42 Speaker 2: be good. Right, the map will be very generic, and

2:46 Speaker 2: you do not know what to do in the map

2:48 Speaker 2: if you maybe missed the route, or maybe you have

2:52 Speaker 2: a diversion, or there's some roadblock, you don't know what

2:55 Speaker 2: to do. So the second option the owner gives you

2:58 Speaker 2: is he says, listen, I will drive the route for

3:02 Speaker 2: you because I know this way. I've been through this way.

3:05 Speaker 2: You just sit and relax. I will drive because I

3:08 Speaker 2: know this is way very well, so I know which

3:11 Speaker 2: fuel station is good, I know which restaurant is good

3:15 Speaker 2: serves your taste. So you just sit back and relax.

3:18 Speaker 2: Which option would you choose? You would say, obviously, second

3:21 Speaker 2: one seems like the best deal. Right. You don't have

3:23 Speaker 2: to worry about anything, because the owner the one who's

3:26 Speaker 2: going to drive He's going to take care of everything.

3:29 Speaker 2: He's going to take care of you. He's going to

3:31 Speaker 2: take care of the vehicle, right, So I want you

3:33 Speaker 2: to understand. On a similar note, the Bible says God

3:38 Speaker 2: is saying, you know what, I will lead you. I

3:40 Speaker 2: will teach you, I will give you, lead you through

3:43 Speaker 2: the best part of your life. Who's saying that, the

3:45 Speaker 2: Holy Spirit. He's going to be the one who's leading you.

3:49 Speaker 2: He's saying, I will guide you into all the truth.

3:52 Speaker 2: I will tell you which is the true place to

3:54 Speaker 2: go for your meals, for the fuel, for in case

3:59 Speaker 2: of diverse or roadblocks, what route to take. I will

4:03 Speaker 2: take care of everything. So my question is when you

4:08 Speaker 2: have two options of you blindly following you know, like

4:11 Speaker 2: theoretical knowledge, like how do I do this? How do

4:14 Speaker 2: I handle this? Can you go to that place where

4:17 Speaker 2: you say, Holy Spirit, I want to depend on you

4:19 Speaker 2: to lead me. You lead me through the best part

4:22 Speaker 2: of my life. I don't know how to do this.

4:24 Speaker 2: Guard I can't do this on my own. I want

4:27 Speaker 2: you to lead me. I want you to guide me.

4:29 Speaker 2: I want you to teach me. So the more you

4:31 Speaker 2: start depending on the Holy Spirit, what happens is he

4:34 Speaker 2: will start guiding you. He will start leading you. He

4:37 Speaker 2: will tell you, listen, don't go in this way, go

4:39 Speaker 2: in that way. Don't go now, go later. He will

4:42 Speaker 2: start directing every step of your life. The Bible talks

4:46 Speaker 2: about in Proverbs three, verse the five, and six. When

4:50 Speaker 2: you see right, it says, acknowledge him in all your ways,

4:54 Speaker 2: and he will direct your steps. In one of the translations,

4:57 Speaker 2: it says he will crown your efforts with success. That

5:00 Speaker 2: going to happen when you start allowing the Holy Spirit

5:03 Speaker 2: to lead you, he will tell you, don't go now,

5:06 Speaker 2: go later. There was the time I remember when I

5:08 Speaker 2: was in the university. I had to go and get

5:10 Speaker 2: a registration done because of the examinations that were coming up.

5:15 Speaker 2: And for me, my general nature is I want to

5:17 Speaker 2: get it done, come back, sit and study for exam.

5:20 Speaker 2: But when I asked the Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, shall

5:22 Speaker 2: I go now or not? The Holy Spirit clearly told

5:25 Speaker 2: me don't go now, go in the afternoon. I said, God,

5:29 Speaker 2: but it's going to be more hot. How will I

5:31 Speaker 2: manage in the heat. But he said, no, I'm go

5:33 Speaker 2: in the afternoon. So even though everyone else went in

5:36 Speaker 2: the morning, I stayed back and I was studying, and

5:40 Speaker 2: I went in the afternoon. What had happened was another

5:43 Speaker 2: registration had to be done, and all who went in

5:47 Speaker 2: the morning had to come back again in the afternoon

5:50 Speaker 2: and do the second registration, Whereas when I went in

5:52 Speaker 2: the afternoon, I could do both in one go. See

5:55 Speaker 2: it's just a simple thing. But the Holy Spirit was

5:57 Speaker 2: leading me when I allowed him to leave me and say,

6:01 Speaker 2: don't go now, go in the afternoon. See that's the

6:03 Speaker 2: way the Holy Spirit wants to lead you in everything.

6:06 Speaker 2: Don't go now, go later. Talk to this person, go

6:09 Speaker 2: in this direction today, don't take that road. So, even

6:14 Speaker 2: in simple things, when you start allowing the Holy Spirit

6:17 Speaker 2: to lead you, you will see how he's going to

6:19 Speaker 2: be helping you live the victorious life that Christ came

6:23 Speaker 2: to give you. So my challenge is that even as

6:26 Speaker 2: we step into this week before Pentecostal Sunday, I want

6:29 Speaker 2: you to make the Holy Spirit a reality of your life,

6:32 Speaker 2: not just a textbook version of the Holy Spirit, not

6:34 Speaker 2: just theoretical knowledge, not just mere assumption, not just a

6:40 Speaker 2: topic for you to discuss once in a while, but

6:43 Speaker 2: to become a part and parcel of your life, and

6:46 Speaker 2: your life will never be the same for the better. Amen.
