0:07 Speaker 2: Yes, Oh my gosh, well one, I'm adore of this conversation.

0:13 Speaker 2: again for everything you do. John.

0:15 Speaker 3: So I do I have. I have seven books.

0:18 Speaker 2: My seventh one came out this time, literally a week

0:20 Speaker 2: week ago, last Tuesday.

0:22 Speaker 3: It's called You Matter.

0:23 Speaker 2: And I think the through line of all of my

0:27 Speaker 2: books it's funny because it was kind of a journey

0:30 Speaker 2: these books in regards to I think you can see

0:33 Speaker 2: from a young age kind of what my God was,

0:35 Speaker 2: you know, even like with the beginning my first book

0:37 Speaker 2: was more of a self development book and I wrote

0:40 Speaker 2: it I was I was nineteen, and I think for me,

0:43 Speaker 2: like I believed in the in God, but he wasn't

0:45 Speaker 2: lord over my life. A lot of it was like,

0:47 Speaker 2: if it's meant to be is up to me, and

0:49 Speaker 2: here are tips and tricks to more confidence and all

0:51 Speaker 2: this stuff. And it's so funny because through the kind

0:53 Speaker 2: of progression of my books, you see that comes from

0:56 Speaker 2: the Lord, like you show up, you're obedient, but ultimately healing,

1:00 Speaker 2: your protection, your confidence, it all is a gift from God.

1:04 Speaker 2: It's something you receive, it's not something you earn your

1:07 Speaker 2: way to. And so the through line of all this,

1:09 Speaker 2: and we were kind of talking about this before the

1:11 Speaker 2: podcast started, but just where do you get your identity from?

1:14 Speaker 3: What is your identity? Is it in Christ? Or is

1:17 Speaker 3: it in everything you do?

1:19 Speaker 2: And even for me, like this book, you matter, Matter

1:24 Speaker 2: is something, it's anything that has weight, and so it's

1:26 Speaker 2: like where do you get your weight in the world?

1:28 Speaker 2: And I think about when Jesus was baptized, you know,

1:31 Speaker 2: it said like the Lord spoke and he said, this

1:34 Speaker 2: is my son with whom I'm well pleased.

1:36 Speaker 3: He said that before Jesus.

1:37 Speaker 2: Did anything in his ministry, and I think that speaks

1:41 Speaker 2: to people who are doing ministry also, people who think, like,

1:44 Speaker 2: if it's meant to be, it's up to me, I

1:46 Speaker 2: must be the one to get the promotion. And I'm

1:47 Speaker 2: not saying don't work hard, work hard, but there's a

1:49 Speaker 2: difference in seeking the Lord for your strength and then

1:52 Speaker 2: using that strength to fuel your hard work versus thinking

1:56 Speaker 2: I have to do hard work to get an identity,

1:59 Speaker 2: to be important, to be significant. And so you matter,

2:03 Speaker 2: specifically building your worth on the mark of Jesus and

2:06 Speaker 2: a blue check mark world. You know that blue check

2:08 Speaker 2: mark like on Instagram all the stuff. I think it's

2:10 Speaker 2: something for me. It symbolizes like where people tend to

2:14 Speaker 2: get identity from and tend to get worth from. And

2:16 Speaker 2: whether that be what people think about me, whether that

2:19 Speaker 2: be fame, whether that be fortune, whether that be security

2:22 Speaker 2: in my body, healing, you know, whatever, have you a spouse. Ultimately,

2:28 Speaker 2: what makes you matter is Jesus and the unveiling to

2:33 Speaker 2: use your book.

2:34 Speaker 3: They should get both of these books because you're a

2:35 Speaker 3: book too. It's kind of it's so perfectly intertwines.

2:38 Speaker 2: But the unveiling of that is what leads to the

2:41 Speaker 2: revelation of that, and so you matter. Like when you

2:45 Speaker 2: build your life on Jesus, that's when it's, you know,

2:47 Speaker 2: building your life on the rock. That's when it's sturdy

2:50 Speaker 2: to withstand the trials, versus building your life on what

2:54 Speaker 2: I can.

2:54 Speaker 3: Do if it's meant to be, it's up to me,

2:56 Speaker 3: on what other people think of me.

2:58 Speaker 2: That's building your life on sand, because that's it's going

3:00 Speaker 2: to blow away the next moment. And so anyways that

3:04 Speaker 2: you can find me on Instagram, you can find all

3:06 Speaker 2: my books anywhere you find books, you know, Amazon, barn

3:08 Speaker 2: and Noble, Target. But all that to say, Instagram is

3:12 Speaker 2: probably where I lived the most stories specifically.

3:16 Speaker 3: But that's me John, That's where you can find me

3:19 Speaker 3: in my podcast too.

3:22 Speaker 1: So I put all the details in the description. We

3:25 Speaker 1: just called plus very quickly. H some fun questions. I mean,

3:30 Speaker 1: any plans of coming to India?

3:31 Speaker 2: What I actually it's I adore India. I went to

3:36 Speaker 2: India when I was in high school. For three weeks,

3:40 Speaker 2: I adore and then I worked. There was a university

3:44 Speaker 2: I spoke with a couple of times and we had

3:46 Speaker 2: plans to take me to India, and then COVID hit

3:49 Speaker 2: and so I wasn't able to go, but I I

3:52 Speaker 2: would love to go back to India.

3:54 Speaker 3: I just think it's beautiful.

3:56 Speaker 4: Wow, that's great. Any plans of new books.

3:58 Speaker 3: Coming on, I am working. I'm already working on my

4:02 Speaker 3: eighth book.

4:02 Speaker 2: I tend to like I have this weird thing where

4:04 Speaker 2: I can't finish a book until I have the idea

4:06 Speaker 2: for my next book.

4:08 Speaker 3: So I am working on book eight.

4:11 Speaker 2: But right now, honestly, I think like I'm in a

4:13 Speaker 2: season of like focusing on May to shine the podcast

4:16 Speaker 2: having these sort of conversations, and then of course you

4:19 Speaker 2: matter just kind of doing some books speaking with that.

4:22 Speaker 4: Oh that's good. And also your thoughts on Scooby Doo.

4:27 Speaker 2: It's rob Scooby Do. I love that movie. Like when

4:30 Speaker 2: I was little, I couldn't do scary movies. That was

4:32 Speaker 2: super sensitive to anything scary, but Scooby Doo was one

4:36 Speaker 2: that I could watch and it was just it was

4:39 Speaker 2: like drinking coffee, like an expresso shot. I was just like,

4:42 Speaker 2: this is awesome, me so energized.

4:45 Speaker 4: That's so good.

4:46 Speaker 1: One last thing, any thoughts or was that you would

4:49 Speaker 1: like to share about this ministry the podcast, and I

4:52 Speaker 1: know it's brand new, but anything that you'd like to

4:55 Speaker 1: share or you'd like to share.

4:57 Speaker 2: I would just like to say, or be honored to say,

5:00 Speaker 2: like what you're doing is good work. You know, like

5:02 Speaker 2: when when we get up to heaven and God says

5:04 Speaker 2: like well done, good and faithful servant. I just it's

5:08 Speaker 2: so it can be so hard to be obedient to

5:12 Speaker 2: that seed God planted in you, not just from a

5:14 Speaker 2: logistics standpoint, but from an internal capacity standpoint. You know

5:18 Speaker 2: that like what's gonna happen? How is it gonna be received.

5:20 Speaker 2: And so I just think John, like what you're doing,

5:23 Speaker 2: it's so important, and you are being obedient to the seeds,

5:28 Speaker 2: seeds from people that will never ever ever get back

5:31 Speaker 2: to you on how it's impacted you, you know what

5:32 Speaker 2: I mean? Like you you know a fraction of the

5:34 Speaker 2: people you're impacting. And so I just encourage you, like

5:37 Speaker 2: as a brother, as a sister in Christ to my

5:40 Speaker 2: brother in Christ, like, just keep going because we got

5:43 Speaker 2: a lot of darkness in this world and you're shining light.

5:46 Speaker 3: Man, so power toy of.

5:48 Speaker 4: Thank you so much, Thank you so much.

5:50 Speaker 1: I have so much more to talk about. The time

6:01 Speaker 1: can pray for you in particular?

6:03 Speaker 2: Oh wow, honestly, just pray for for healing. I'm going

6:07 Speaker 2: through physically, just some some healing things right now my

6:10 Speaker 2: body that doctors can't they don't really have an answer for.

6:13 Speaker 2: And so I would just love prayers for healing would

6:17 Speaker 2: be great.

6:18 Speaker 3: And what about you? How can I be praying for you? John?

6:20 Speaker 3: In the community.

6:23 Speaker 1: I'm just pray for the ministry that's something that I'm

6:27 Speaker 1: really praying that this, I mean, all the efforts that

6:30 Speaker 1: I'm putting in will reach more people, and we are

6:33 Speaker 1: placing to people because one of the challenges that I'm

6:36 Speaker 1: facing is that especially on Instagram right now or even

6:39 Speaker 1: on YouTube. I mean, I keep getting blocked on Instagram.

6:43 Speaker 1: I don't know if it's because of the conservative content,

6:45 Speaker 1: and recently I lost three thousand followers, and you know,

6:48 Speaker 1: it's like going all over the place and I'm like

6:50 Speaker 1: trying to figure out, like how how is this, how

6:53 Speaker 1: to do like what to do with it? So I'm

6:56 Speaker 1: just praying that, you know, God defaults the algorithms and

6:59 Speaker 1: the odd and continue to help the message to reach people.

7:03 Speaker 4: So that's something that, yeah, you could just pray.

7:06 Speaker 1: So usually I end the session with me a praying

7:09 Speaker 1: for the guest and then I ask the guest to

7:11 Speaker 1: also pray.

7:12 Speaker 4: For me and the ministry and the viewers.

7:15 Speaker 1: So I'll just do a quick word of prayer. I

7:18 Speaker 1: know we are almost in short of that now. I

7:19 Speaker 1: will pray, yeah, yeah, Lord, I pray for any in

7:24 Speaker 1: the name of Jesus. I thank you for this word

7:26 Speaker 1: that she shared so much of insight and you have

7:29 Speaker 1: been using a mightily, and I pray the name of

7:32 Speaker 1: Jesus that you'll continue to use mightily for the extension

7:35 Speaker 1: of your kingdom, new seasons, new levels. I see like

7:39 Speaker 1: a like a vision of like a new wine coming out.

7:42 Speaker 1: I just released that, like a fresh new annoying that

7:45 Speaker 1: will catapult you to new levels of your destiny. I

7:48 Speaker 1: release that word over you. Your ministry will flourish because

7:52 Speaker 1: you put God first place. And I want that flourish,

7:54 Speaker 1: that the word flourishes again. See I sense that in

7:57 Speaker 1: the spirit I released that over you, and I also

8:00 Speaker 1: pray for the for you to be healed in the

8:02 Speaker 1: name of Jesus. Lord, your word says in Exodus fifteen

8:05 Speaker 1: twenty six, I'm the God who heals you.

8:07 Speaker 4: You said, for by your strange healed.

8:09 Speaker 1: Your word also says that you sent your word and

8:11 Speaker 1: you healed everybody. And we release this word of healing

8:14 Speaker 1: over her, that she'll be completely made whole, completely made

8:18 Speaker 1: well in the name of Jesus, that she will experience

8:21 Speaker 1: wholeness and healing flowing through her right now, in this place,

8:26 Speaker 1: right now, in the name of Jesus, I release his

8:28 Speaker 1: word by faith.

8:29 Speaker 2: Amen and Amen, and Lord, I pray over John, and

8:32 Speaker 2: I pray for everything that he's doing in this ministry.

8:35 Speaker 2: I pray over him a spirit of discernment, discernment of

8:38 Speaker 2: what does say yes to, of what do they know to,

8:40 Speaker 2: not just on the outside but on the inside, but

8:42 Speaker 2: to worry about what not to worry about. I pray

8:45 Speaker 2: for a spirit of surrender over him, that he just

8:48 Speaker 2: surrenders to you the outcomes. He knows that his job

8:51 Speaker 2: is obedience to those seeds that you put in his heart,

8:54 Speaker 2: in obedience to planting the seeds in the heart of

8:56 Speaker 2: your children, which he does so well. And you just

9:00 Speaker 2: you just let him know that you're taking care of

9:02 Speaker 2: the rest. You're working behind the scenes, you're doing everything

9:04 Speaker 2: you can that maybe there's not a reason everything happens,

9:07 Speaker 2: but you are the God that lets everything slip through

9:10 Speaker 2: your hands, so there's a purpose behind it. Just as

9:12 Speaker 2: John mentioned earlier, everything works for the good of those

9:15 Speaker 2: that glorifying Lord, and so you are doing a good

9:18 Speaker 2: work in his life. I pray for stamina. I pray

9:20 Speaker 2: for her of endurance, and I pray for his people,

9:22 Speaker 2: his sheep that he's feeding today. Lord, I pray over

9:25 Speaker 2: them a spirit of just peace and surrender and awareness

9:29 Speaker 2: and sensitivity to where you are in their day, whether

9:33 Speaker 2: it's a moment of just oh my gosh, I can't

9:35 Speaker 2: believe John just said that, or Annie just said that,

9:37 Speaker 2: or God just did that, because that was on my heart.

9:40 Speaker 2: I pray that over them, that they are just sensitive

9:42 Speaker 2: to your fingerprints all throughout their day, Lord, and I

9:45 Speaker 2: pray over them just a spirit of refreshing, that they

9:49 Speaker 2: just feel refreshed, and that they go to the well

9:52 Speaker 2: that never runs dry and they have the patience to

9:54 Speaker 2: wait through the dirty part of the water to get

9:57 Speaker 2: through that underlying layer that's so crisp and so clean.

10:00 Speaker 2: Because Lord, you are the perfect provider and humor and protector,

10:03 Speaker 2: and we lift up your mighty mighty name, Jesus and

10:07 Speaker 2: Jesus Name.

10:07 Speaker 4: Amen, Amen, Amen.
