Are you in a place where you are so disappointed and you're hurt, and you're saying, I don't know why God is not answering my prayers, or God hasn't answered the prayer the way I've wanted him too, maybe with regard to your career, maybe with regard to your marriage, maybe with regard to some other area of your life that you've been praying about. And you're saying, I don't know why God did not answer my prayer. I don't know why I have to live with this disappointment the rest of my life. I don't know why God was not showing up.
Why was God so mean to me? Maybe you are really disappointed, maybe you're really hurt. But I want you to understand this important truth. Guys, the God we serve is a good God. I want you to get that into your spirit, that this is not just theory, but this is from your heart. To know the God we serve is not only a good God, but he has good plans for your life. He's not having plans to harm you, to put you in a bad spot, but he has your best interest at that. He knows what is gonna happen. He knows things that you do not know about today.
I want you to understand and if God did not answer the prayer the way you wanted him to, maybe God knows something that you do not know about. Maybe God knows something that you have no clue about today. I want you to trust God when he does not answer your prayer. I want you to trust God when he says no to your prayers. Can you trust him? I know this person who was praying that he would get into a certain course. He really wanted to get into that field, but for some reason, things were so unfair that he, no matter how much he prayed, no matter how much of counsel he went through with different people, trying to speak with the right people to get that opportunity, somehow things did not work.
He was pretty disappointed. He was hurt, He started having panic attacks. Things were not the way it was supposed to be. It seems really unfair because he had to take up a course that he was least interested in him and he was just going about his life because he was still battling with the disappointment that he could not do the course that he really wanted to do. But one year down the line, what happened was when regard to that course that he initially wanted to do. There was some problem with the academic accredation, so the university had to suspend that course completely, so all those who had taken up that course had to drop out and start afresh with another course.
What I want you to understand is, in the beginning, it did not make sense. Why wasn't God answering the prayer? Why was God so mean? Why was God not answering a simple prayer? Why couldn't he do this? He could have done it, but why didn't he do it? It was so hard, it was hurting so much. But the truth is, one year later this person understood why God had shut that door. It was all for good. I want you to understand that today you may be crying about something. Today you may be looking at some and saying, I don't understand why God is not answering.
Like Jesus said in the scripture, he said, now you don't understand, but one day you will understand. I want you to know that one day you will understand why God closed that door. One day you will understand why God did not allow such a prayer to become a reality in your life. One day you will understand why he didn't open that door for you. One day you will understand why He didn't allow you to get hitched with that person. One day you will understand why that delay happened in your life. Today, you may be in a place where you're crying, but I want you to just wipe away your tears.
Just know that we serve a good God. Someday or one day, you will definitely look back and say, you know what, I'm grateful that God closed that door. I'm grateful that God did not answer the prayer the way I wanted him to. And I'm telling you, guys that when you give him to that place where you know that God is a God who knows how to use all of the things, whether it's a good thing or a bad thing, so to speak, he knows how to use it all for good because you love him and you call it according to His purpose.
God. I pray for those who are watching listening from around the world, Let this word go forth in the name of Jesus and fill them with that faith, fill them with that strength, fill them with that hope. Knowing that even the prayers that are not answered the way they want him to They still trust you, knowing that you have a good plan for them, that you have a purpose for them, and you're going to fulfill everything in a beautiful way because you said in your word that the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter.
Their best days are in front of them, and you're going to show up in a way that you day never even imagine. In Jesus name, I pray Amen, God bless you.
