episode, I was talking to you from First Time You're chapter ten, and

I was talking to you of the moment when Saul it was chro to become

the king of Israel, and I told you about how the lawd touched the

hearts of some people to go out and join him, to stand with him

and support him. And I also reminded you of the fact that you don't

have to go after to prove to people or to convince people to like you,

or it's not the personality trait or Saul or any of his skills or

his abilities that draw that drew them to Solve. The Bible is very clear.

It says that a group of men whose hearts God had touched went with

him, which means that the right people will come not because of what you

say, or what you do, or what you can give them, but

they will come because the Lord has spoken to them at the right time,

they were going to show up in your life. And at the same time

I was telling you guys that I would share today about the an important aspect

that you can see. Verse twenty seven. It says, but there were

some scoundrels who complain, how can this man save us? And they scorned

them and refuse to bring gifts to him, but allow what the last part

of this versays, but Solve ignored them. But Solve ignored them. What

I want you guys to understand is whenever you go to new levels of your

destiny. You know, I think this is a famous court I've heard so

many times. You know, new levels bring new devils in the sense that

you know, when you keep growing towards the fullness of your destiny, some

people just cannot tolerate, you know, for various reasons. They are not

in the level that you're in, and it's the favor of God upon your

life. That's one part. But also the fact that many of them don't

want to put in the work, right, a lot of times I've seen,

you know, over the years, people who don't want to put in

the work, who don't want to stay committed, who don't want to bring

in you know, like do anything virtual. They tend to get jealous or

you know, they try to bad mouth the work that I do or discredit

the work that I do because they can't do I'm doing, you know what

I mean. I'm not saying it's because of me or you know, I

build the ministry or the podcast or anything. It's I give all glory,

honor and praise to God and God alone, because it's all Him and Him

using me to be a blessing to people. But at the same time,

there's also this fact that you know, I pray, God give me the

grace not to be lazy and complacent, help me to keep pushing forward.

And so depending on God, I'm able to do what I'm able to do.

But sometimes people don't want to put in the work. Sometimes people are

just jealous. They cannot tolerate somebody else getting blessed. And here is a

moment you see when Saul is crowned to become the king. And you know,

just if you see prior to this, the Bible says, I just

love this. It said that all the people shout along live the king in

verse twenty four, right, all the people shout along live the kings,

which means like people were praising him and cheering for him. Yeah, the

King Saul, and blah blah blah, blah blah blah. They were all

excited, but there was some people who just couldn't tolerate. But I want

you to understand, there's no matter what you do, some people are just

not going to tolerate. They're just not going to like you. You can

try all you want, you can say what you want, you can do

whatever they want you to do, but I want you to understand that it's

not going to change their perspective of you. It's not going to change their

opinion of you. There if they choose to not like you, they're not

gonna like you no matter what you do. You know, I've seen,

especially with political debates and all of these things, right, some people who

are bent on being against the political party or against a politician. No,

even if the other person does so many good deeds, they just cannot tolerate

because they're like, you know what, maybe he's doing with a bad intention,

or maybe you know, I can't support this guy. You know,

even if it does something good, they cannot accept it. They don't want

to appreciate, they don't want to acknowledge why because they're like, I cannot

do this, you know what I mean? And and there will be people

no matter what good you do, no matter what you do, they are

going to badmouth you. They're going to discredit you, they're going to dishonor

you. They're not going to support you. They're not going to cheer you.

They're going to scan and mark and they're gonna say all sorts of stuff.

What makes you think that you're you decided to be the king? I

should have been the king. I'm more eligible. Who are you, Saul?

I'll tell you what you know. Maybe if you guys follow me on

social media, you may know that I also post you know a lot of

my I mean, one of my gifts is you know, comedy, and

people call it like poor jokes and you know, stuff like that. But

whatever it is, some of them are really silly. I mean, I'll

tell you that's my gift, right, like just being silly in terms of

making jokes, and and it brightens, you know, the atmosphere wherever I

go, you know, whether it's in my workplace or in church or wherever

it's that's that's who I am, you know, bubbly with jokes and all

of those things. And and you know, so the Lord gave me this

idea, why not you know, once in a while, compile these jokes

and put them as reels. And because I used to put them as stories,

and then I was like, put them as reels. Put them.

I also have another YouTube channel where I put all these compilations of my jokes.

I just started reacently, and you know, it started getting a lot

of traction, you know, because I was like, you know, I

want to reach people beyond the Christian circle. I don't want to just get

stuck to the four walls of the church. I want to reach people beyond

the Christian circle. And one of the ways is, you know, like

God gives you the gifts, and one of my gifts is comedy. You

know, of course, motivation is one other gift. God uses me in

the day of motivation. God uses me in the Scooby Doo world in its

own way and in comedy. And I was like, that's a great thing.

And what happened. They started getting a lot of traction. But at

the same time, it's also brought in a lot of people's conning marking,

you know, making all kinds of derogatory comments is some For the most part,

I delete them and it's public. I'm able to do that yet,

so I do that, but you know, I start getting targeted, and

then I get I'm being spoken off. You know, I get information from

different groups saying, you know, these people were talking about you, some

people who are mocking you, and you know, apparently you a you know,

a friend of mine pastor from another nation. He was in an international

call, okay, with different ministers from different uh you know, like Christian

leaders from different parts of the world, including India, and he said after

the call, people were discussing and he was shocked, like they were actually

discussing about my video, and you know, and some of them were very

rude and you know, like they just didn't like me. And he was

shocked. Like what was going on? Maybe I did something wrong? And

then he went and checked my videos and said, oh, this is just

creativity. There's nothing wrong with what you do. And so him then he

shared with me that, you know, this is a and for me,

for the most part, I didn't take it personally right when people attack me,

I was like just looking at it, like, wow, that means

people I don't even know are checking out my content and it's spreading while and

I'm grateful for that. But at the same time, here's the thing I

want you to understand. I learned to just ignore. I learned to just

ignore. People ask me, especially when this happened recently, a lot of

people ask me, John, how are you dealing with all this, you

know, mockery, criticism, and because sometimes you know, I miss out

to delete something and then people read it, then later I find it deleted.

So people ask me this, uh, you know, like, how

can they be so mean to you? How can you put you down like

this? And I said, you know, people want to troll, are

going to troll no matter what, right, And just like you look at

Salt, Salt was king. He could just admonish them, he could just

you know, maybe punish them. He could do that because he was the

king. But what did he do? The Bible says he knowed them.

Guys, you your time is so valuable. My time is so valuable.

We don't have to waste time with naysayers, doubters, people who are critical,

people who are already who are constantly trying to be sarcastic and were constantly

putting it down. You don't have to waste time trying to prove to them

or convince them. God will convince the right people and the rest of the

people. All you have to do is just ignore and move on. Why

because Saul was already king. You know, in my case, I don't

have to go and come explain to anybody. I don't need to do that.

I just need to cast my nets and keep pushing forward so that I

will be the kind of person that God wants me to be, so that

you know, maybe today somebody follows me or checks out this comedy, and

then the next day they end up checking out my Christian content. So what

is happening. The Word of God is reaching people. And that's my heart,

that's our heart, and that's what I want you guys to get to

a place where you don't take those negative comments personally. Just trust and the

Lord move forward and God will bless you and you know use you for the
