discussions and interviews. You'll be inspired to live the life that you were created

record holder, aerospace engineer, life coach, evangelist, and founder of John
Gifta International. Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. I want
to ask you this question today. See as much as we all say we
are professing believers and we need to walk in loud, and we need to
show that loud to even people who are no way connected to us. We
have to show loud to our enemies, we have to show loud to our
coworkers. We need to show and walk in that love and compassion and demonstrate
God's love in and through our lives and all of that stuff. But one
of the most difficult aspects or areas where we need to show love is to
people close to us. Right, because to a stranger on the street,
to show loud, to show compassion, to you know, go out of
the way one time is considerably easy because it's just a one time thing.
It's a somebody who just meet maybe for just a while, or just for
some time, or just for a short duration, or maybe you just are
you know, maybe bonding with somebody for a short period of time till the
project gets done, and then after that you go on separate ways. Maybe
if things get worse, you can always quit your job or change your job,
or change your boss or whatever. You know. In all those areas
there are things that you can change. But there's one aspect where you can't
change, and that is the fact that you know the people who are living
with maybe to put it in simple words, your family, your relatives,
people who are living and seeing them time and them again. They may be
good people, but there could be things that can always I mean, nobody
is perfect, right, Like, no two people can live forever without any
fight or whatsoever, without any disagreement whatsoever. That will always be differences of
opinions, expectations may be different, or you know, nobody can you meet
the other person's hundred percent of needs and we're all in the fallen nature of
man, so that it can be things that can hinder or you know,
that can come along the way that can rub the relationships. So what do
you do in such cases? Because the problem in such cases is that you
keep seeing those people. It's not something like you know, like maybe I
go to a project work which is just for two us and that person is
rude. Also you don't mind because you need to get the job done just
to us. Just bite your teeth, get it done, come back.
But you're living with these people, You're living with them, You're living with
those close ones. You're living with your family or even if not living with
them directly sometimes or somewhere or the other. You know, family does play
a role right like you do. You're not just called to be an island.
You you meet them in weddings or there are choices and decisions you make
that involve them. So what do you do in such cases when there's a
rubbing in the relationship, when there's a constant difference of opinions, there's a
constant change of things. So I want to share an important descripture with you,
and I want to take this forward and it's found in Leviticus, chapter
nineteen, verse seventeen. And this is what it says. Do not nurse
hatred in your heart for any of your relatives. Confront people directly so that
you will not be held guilty for their sin. Do not nurse hatred in
your heart towards any of your relatives. Remember I always say this, and
I say it again. Your heart is the soil, it's the breathing ground.
If your heart is in the right place, that's when your life will
be in the right place. The reason you need to guard your heart is
because out of your heart flows the issues of life. And you need to
ensure that your heart is set right before you take anything forward. So you
have to remember that the Bible is saying, do not nurse hatred in your
heart so towards any of your relatives, which means relatives who are far your
cousins, those uncles and aunts, or it could be even your close family
members, your parents, your grandparents, or your your siblings, or your
spouse or anybody close to you. Think about it. The Bible is saying,
do not nurse hatred towards any of your relatives. And and what I
want you to understand youre is this the you know, I was just quickly
checking up to confirm what I thought was right about the word nursing. You
know, when you look at the word nursing, it's like a mother nurses
you know, a child, right that that that's an example like to help
the child are be filled with the nourishing food and all of that stuff.
What I wanted to understand here is this important thing. When you see nursing,
it's like basically feeding. Right. So the thing is this when when
you're taking a seed and you're putting in the soil, You're you're nursing for
that. You're you're feeding your You're taking so much of effort towards it,
and it's it's like giving a lot of attention to to taking care of it,
to helping it to get better. So the Bible is basically saying that
don't feed hatred in your hearts. Don't feed How do you feed hatred in
your hearts? How do you do that? Here's the thing. So what
happens is I'll just share it from my life. Okay, Like I've shared
many times before, I faced immense opposition from my family towards the ministry.
It was hard and you know, constantly hearing it constantly, you know,
subjected to so much I went through because of my choice and obeying the voice
of God. It was hard. There were times, I mean like I
was so saturated, and I'm telling you honestly, I'm not perfect. I
made mistakes, but I tried my best to do what I knew God was
calling me every step along the way, depending on God and helping him,
asking him to help me navigate those seasons in the proper way and to the
best of my ability. I believe, I you know, trusted in the
law, taking steps as God led me. But I faced so much so
there were times when I was so saturated with all that what's going on.
It's like a constant atmosphere or an environment where you're constantly hearing those abusal comments,
or you know, people trying different things to try to stop me from
the ministry, to you know, put as much obstacles as possible to stop
the ministry, or to discourage and to you know make me, you know,
like stop doing the ministry and all of this stuff. But can I
tell you something, guys, during that time, like the scripture says,
don't know us hated. You know, these things started developing in me.
Like I used to get to a place like I wake up in the morning
and I would only think of all the wrongs they were doing, and I
would only think about like, oh, my goodness, O, why are
they doing this to me? Why can't they support my inmosion or at least
let me do what I need to do peacefully, or I would go for
a walk. I would keep thinking about it. That is what is called
nursing, you know, hatred in your bomb, in your heart. That
is what it is. Like it was. It was not something like I
because it was constantly happening. I would be like, Okay, finally,
in the name of Jesus, I let go of this. I'm not going
to allow them to do anything. I mean, allow this to make me
get any hated towards them. And I would do I would pray like that,
ask God to help me, and the next minute they would do something
else that would make me get back to that place like, oh my gosh,
God, this is getting so hard for me. Are you getting what
I'm saying? It used to be hard, And I'm telling you that's when
you constantly train and ask God to help you. And I've been to a
place where I said, God, I'm done with nursing this kind of hatred
in me because of all this. I'm done with that. It's not going
to help me. It's not going to help them in any way. Help
me to show lou, help me to show loud. It's not been easy.
But what I'm saying is when you take this step and say God help
me, God is going to help you. God will help you. And
here's the principle the pople is going on and saying. In the same scripture,
it says confront, confront, and this is what it says, Confront
people directly so that you will not be held guilty for this. And you
know, confront just you know, if you're in a place where you can
open up and just said, this is what I'm feeling, this is what
I'm thinking about, this is what I am taking as my stand. And
I had to do that. I had to say, you know what,
you can say all you want, but I'm not going to stop the ministry.
No matter what. I'm not going to stop what God has called me
to do. I'm not going to disobey God. I had to stand my
ground. I had to say this is what it is. And I want
to tell you guys today that you have to get to a place instead of
just keeping it to yourself and nursing the hatred in your heart, confront speak
your mind, share it around and that will help in seeing a different result
in your life. Amen, Lord, I pray for those who are dealing
with people who are constantly troubling them or causing a walk in their lives,
playing it playing against them. In Jesus Name, give them the wisdom and
the strength to rather than you know, noticing the hatred, let them demonstrate
you allow, let them come front directly and let them speak their mind and
share and let them have better relationships. In Jesus Name, I pray you've

If your heart stops beating, now, do you know where you're going?
If you can face to face with death? Now, do you know where
you're going? And this is not a message of condemnation. This is a
message of hope. That is a God who loves you so much he sent
his only son, Jesus Christ to come down and pay a heavy price by
shedding every drop of his blood on the cross. Thank you for dying for
my sins. When you believe in him, you have free gift or salvation
for you. That as shows us that we will go to heaven when we
die. Instead of suffering in hell forever. I just encourage you today to
make the simple step of faith and say, Jesus, I thank you for
what you did on the cross. Thank you for giving me this gift of
eternal life.
