ONE IDEA - 11 Years Anniversary of John Giftah International Ministry

guys, I'm so excited today to record this message to shadow each one of

you. Do so fuel are listening to me across the globe. This is

the eleventh anniversary of the ministry. Eleven years of touching lives, transforming lives,

and it's amazing to see what the Lord has done, what has just

started with what the Lord just said. You know, I had an eight

our encounter with God and God said I want you to start an international ministry

and by faith, they called it John Gift International. Right on day one,

started out to send text messages and then audio podcasts, which I didn't

know it was called podcasts back then. I called it just audio messages through

a broadcasts on WhatsApp and all of that. You know, people laughed and

people marked. You know, people said, what are you doing? Who's

even going to listen to your ramblings? What's going to come out of this?

This is just nothing? You call this as ministry, you know,

things like that, all sorts of things people said. But cannot tell you

something, guys, you know, it is something that I want to just

sev from my heart that every one of us God has called you and me

for a purpose. I'm not saying everybody should start a ministry, but there's

a purpose for you. Wherever you are, there is a purpose for you.

It's not by accident that you're listening to this. God has a plan

and the purpose that is specific to you. Right now. Your life may

seem mundate. It seems mediocre, nothing so great, nothing so special.

You're just going to a job, maybe just doing a course, and no

big plans regarding your life. But you have no idea. When one idea,

one strategy, one thought that God puts in you, it's going to

change the trajectory of your life. I want you to think about this.

You know, even now when I look back, how did I get this

idea of sending out voice notes. I have no clue. Nobody had given

me that idea. Nobody had exposed that to me. In fact, when

I started doing that, people were laughing and marking, what is this guy

doing? You know, this is so crazy, This is so weird,

this is so dumb, and things like that. But you know, just

one idea, one thought that was not ordinary. That was the thought that

God had given. Because I said, God, you want me to start

in the international ministry. But I don't have the contacts. I don't have

the influence. I don't have what it takes. But God said, what

do you have? I said, I All I have is a phone.

You know, just like Moses said the same thing. All I have is

the stuff. You see, all that God needs today is what you have.

When you're just saying, God, into your hands, I commit it.

And he is the one who's going to bring the growth. He is

the one who's going to make the fruit come and appear in your life.

You're not going to make it on your own. You're not going to do

this on your own. It's not about your hard work, it's not about

you. It's about what God can do through you. And I always say

this, whether it's ministry or purpose, it's not what you do for God.

It is what God wants to do through you. Think about it today,

You and I have a purpose and I'm sharing from my ministry, from

from what's been happening for the past eleven years. This is what I want

to share to encourage each one of you under the sound of my voice,

that my God is faithful, that God is able, that God is going

to show up and show out in your life in ways you can never even

imagine, you know. I want to share a scriptivity and I don't know

how to take this forward. Found in First Samuel, chapter nine, verse

six. So there's a moment, just giving your backstory, there's a moment

when Saul is going in search of missing donkeys with a servant, and there's

a moment when Saul says, I think we'll just go back, and there's

no point in going anymore because I think at home everyone's going to start worrying

about the missing people, you know, worrying about us. And I love

what the Nulty version says in verse six, okay, and the servant said,

I've just thought of something. I love the phrase here, I've just

thought of something. And he goes on to say, there's a man of

card who lives in this town. He is held in high honor by all

the people because everything he says come true comes true. Let's go find him.

Perhaps he can tell us which way to go. And what I want

you to understand is he goes and then they end up meeting Samuel, and

there's a divine moment that takes place where Samuel says to Saul, You're going

to be the next king. And Saul's destiny changed completely all because of this

one thought when he this man says, I've just thought of something. Can

you imagine what one divine thought can change the trajectory of your life? One

divine idea can change the course of your life. One thought when I started

sending audio messages that that was not me. That I just asked a lot

what can I do? And the lot put that taught in me, gave

me that idea. You know, one thought, One creative idea can do

wonders. Guys. It may look small, even you know, you see

when he said it, I just thought of it. They didn't think of

anything big. They thought, Okay, let's just go give it a try.

They didn't think anything big out of going and meeting Samuel. But you

see that changes the trajectory of Saul's life. He ends up becoming the first

king of Israel. Guys, I want you to understand today, you have

no idea what God can do when you just pay attention to those random thoughts

that God suddenly gives you, when you get to the place where you say,

God, I'm done with trying old stuff. You know, one of

the things I always go with the ministry is this. You know a lot

of times people sometimes you know, like you know, they just look down

in amazement. Because I use Scooby Doo, I use motivation, I use

comedy and all of these things. John. You know, even a couple

of days ago, somebody came to me and said, John, you know

what you're you're not to do like a typical preacher. You're you're not supposed

to bring comedy into the scene. You know, you should be like this,

You should be like that. You know, I laughed to myself,

you know, I was like that once appointed type. Okay, I'm like,

oh, you know, when I'm a typical preacher, I need to

you know, like I should be very serious and things like that. See,

I'm serious about the work I do, you know, because the work

that we do to touch Lize, transform Lize is a serious thing. I'm

doing this consistently every single day with all seriousness. But the truth to be

told is, you know, the way you come out makes a difference.

I said, God, you gave me this idea of comedy. You gave

me the gift of comedy. I'm able to reach people. I'm able to

break the eyes. I'm able to, you know, reach beyond the four

walls of the church through comedy. God these you know, God is the

one who gave me those ideas to break out of the typical stereotype preacher.

You know what I mean. And those are the things that have enabled me

to go beyond the full walls of the church, to touch lives beyond people

of the same faith. And today you and I are called to touch lives

beyond the four walls of the church. Don't just stick to your own bubble

of Christianity. We need to reach the unreached. We need to reach the

lost with the good news of Jesus Christ, and you and I may not

have everything we need. I mean to be honest. Even as I'm recording

this to you, guys, I don't know how many of you can actually

hear. You know, the train sound. There's a train track near my

house. Sometimes vehicles honk near my house. I try my best to avoid

all of that. I'm using a high end microphone, but you know,

whatever best I can, I try, but you know, sometimes the background

noise is still there. But you see, I use whatever I can to

the best of my ability to touch lives, to transform lives. And today,

after eleven years, I can tell you, you know, what started

off as something small and insignificant, just sending voice notes and text messages.

You know, those are the things that translated. Those are the things that

prepared me to expand into the online podcasts that started growing up to charts and

you know which which way when those text messages prepared me in my writing skills

that led me to write books. And guess what, guys, I forgot

to share this with you, but we are sharing also celebrating, you know,

three years of my second book, Unwail your purpose. And the amazing

thing is this book is when it came out, it became number one new

release on Amazon. And now for the past couple of days we are having

a discount on Amazon on account of the three year anniversary of the book.

And it's at one point it actually became number one best seller on Amazon in

India. Wow, you know, think about this guy, You have no

idea of what God can do. Don't despise the day of small beginnings.

The Bible is saying, right, you know, even in your life,

even if what you're starting off may seem seem significant, it may seem small,

go after what God has called you to do. One random idea,

one thought can change your life completely. One thought is all you need.

One idea is all you need. And I'm telling you, without a shadow

of a doubt, God is going to change the trajectory of your life.

Would you be bold today to take a step of faith to start anybody can

just say you know what, I'll do it when everything is comfortable. No,

start with what you have. Take the step of faith. God will

give you the steps that you need to take, one step at a time.

It started off a little bit little, but Eventually, God has blessed

the ministry to go to where it is today, and I'm only grateful to

God for that. You know, when I think about moments when I was

able to interview you know, many celebrity kists on the podcast and the YouTube

channel and all of these things. I'm telling you, guys, all of

this when you backtrack, or even the moments when I was able to have

this international radio opportunity or television opportunities, all of those things, they all

started way back from a single point of idea. How that God gave me

to start with audio voice notes. Today, I pray in the name of

Jesus that God will give you such wonderful ideas, just like the servant said

in first time in nine verse six, he said, I've just thought of

something. You're going to just think of something. You're going to suddainly get

the right idea, right right strategy for your business, right strategy for your

ministry, right strategy for whatever the Lord has been putting in your heart.

And I'm telling you your life will never be the same for the better.
