0:56 to talk to you today about running in every step. The key verse I

1:03 want to share with you, and then I want to go to the message

1:06 that I want to share is First Corinthians, separent nine, verse twenty six,

1:10 where the apostle Paul is talking about and he says, so I run

1:14 with purpose in every step. So I run with purpose in every step.

1:19 Now, what I want to tell you is you guys will have been listening

1:23 to me on a regular basis, you would know one thing that I have

1:26 a heartbeat for the topic of walking in a God given purpose, right,

1:30 because my latest book, unwil Your Purpose is all about that. Like,

1:36 because everywhere I go, I trive my best to talk to people, mobilize

1:40 them to not just live a complacent life, not just live the life they

1:44 want to live, but live the life for God, live the purpose of

1:48 their life so that they will make an impact for the Kingdom of God.

1:52 That's my heartbeat. And it's one thing to talk about purpose on a grand

1:57 scheme, to say, you know what, you're here for a purpose.

2:00 Just go fulfill a purpose, do something, and all the different things that

2:05 we say. But I want to share something very important here where the apostle

2:09 policy saying I run with purpose, not just like I live a purposeful life

2:16 like throughout my life, but he's saying I run with purpose in every step.

2:23 See, this is where many Christians, and many of us tend to

2:25 make the mistake. We think that you know what, okay, fine,

2:29 just example, okay, if your God given purpose is to be a preacher,

2:34 just example. Okay, So you're saying, you know what, fine,

2:38 I obeyed the purpose of God over my life, the call of God

2:40 over my life, and I'm a preacher. Right, That's not enough.

2:45 That's not enough. What the apostle policying is in every step I walk with

2:50 purpose every step. Like everything that we do we have to do it for

2:55 the glory of God. We have to do it did term in in the

3:00 direction of a God given purpose. That is what I want to challenge every

3:06 one of us today. Right, here's the thing I'm anything like. I

3:09 gave you the example of being a preacher. Right on a similar note,

3:14 if your purpose is to be in politics, if your purpose or God given

3:16 assignment is in the area of academics, or maybe to become a social worker,

3:22 or maybe to be in the corporate and just run a business or anything

3:27 of the sort, to fund other ministries and Christian organizations or whatever, the

3:31 call of guard over your life is that that may be the main thing that

3:36 your call to do. But what I'm challenging you to do is run with

3:39 purpose. Not just during such times, run with purpose all the time.

3:46 Every step that you take, take it with your purpose in mind. Every

3:53 step. See now, for example, if I want to drive from a

3:57 destination A to destination B. Right, just example, I can't say,

4:04 you know what, whenever I feel like I will take the road that the

4:10 map is suggesting. Other times I'm going to take the opposite road because it

4:14 looks nice. Other times I'm going to go in some other road. Now

4:17 it makes no sense, right like, I will never reach my final destination

4:21 because if I need to go from destination, you know, the point A

4:28 to point B, I need to follow the road. I need to follow

4:30 the route. I can't go in the opposite direction and expect to see me

4:35 reach my final destination throughout the journey from point A to point B. I

4:43 need to follow the route. If I need to reach my final destination.

4:47 Are you getting what I'm saying? This is the same thing in our life.

4:51 You want to reach your final destination that God has is signed for you.

4:56 If you want to run your life with purpose, and you want to

4:59 come to the end of your life and say, well, I have done

5:02 what I'm called to do, and I've done it well, and I'm ready

5:05 to receive from the Lord to say that I've been a well done, good

5:10 and faithful. Say when you have to walk in purpose every step along the

5:15 way, every step along the way. See now, if you're to look

5:19 at Joseph reaching the palace, right like, if you're just focusing on Okay,

5:24 Joseph reached the palace, but he was determined to walk in his purpose

5:29 every step and that is what unultimately led him to the palace. If he

5:33 wasn't having a good mode, if he hadn't gone to help the cup bearer

5:38 in interpreting the dream of the cup bearer out of the way, the cup

5:42 bearer never came to him. He saw the need, he went and he

5:46 fulfilled his God given purpose in that moment, and that is what played the

5:49 role for him to reach the palace. Everybody wants the end result. Everybody

5:56 wants the moment you go to the palace. You want to go to the

5:59 ultimate destiny that God has for you. That's good, But to go there

6:03 you need to walk in purpose, run in purpose every step along the way.

6:09 And that is what the apostle Paul did, and that is what the

6:12 scripture says that you and I need to do. That's what my challenge to

6:15 you is. See now today, Okay, the podcast is here, the

6:20 radio program is there. But let's take for example, the radio right.

6:25 If I was just sitting out there and expecting God, you know, someday,

6:29 let a radio station contact me to start a radio program. God only

6:32 knows if that would have happened. I ran with purpose every step along the

6:38 way. But what was in my hand? I had a phone, I

6:40 started a podcast. As time went by, I started working, I got

6:45 some money. I started going to the studio to record sermons, got opportunities

6:49 on TV, and you know different things that came. Every step that came

6:54 along the way came in connection to the first step that I took. If

6:58 I was just waiting for the last step, it wouldn't happen, guys,

7:00 it won't. That's why you and I need to be in a place where

7:03 you're saying, I want to stry to walk in my purpose every step along

7:09 the way. And when you walk with that every step along the way,

7:14 they will all connect the dots and you will eventually lead to the final destination

7:18 that God has for you, right, the final destiny that God has so

7:23 that we can make the great impact for the Kingdom of God. The time

7:27 is up. It's not the time for us to wait around, just live

7:31 a complacent life, just lazing around. That's this is not the power for

7:35 that. We need to rise up and we need to walk with purpose every

7:41 step along the way so that we will make the best impact we can make

7:45 for the Kingdom of God. A man, God bless you. You've been
