0:46 Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta podcast where we're doing a series about the favor of God. It is available for us. You may not know that you're not here by yourself. You're not just trying to make it through life on your own. Yes, you have the Holy Spirit, you have already God backing you up. All of femine and these angels and everything that you need to fulfill your purpose is available. And one of the things that we are not aware of when we are having an outlook of life, when we are approaching life, is that we don't realize the extent of the favor of God is available upon us.

1:22 Speaker 2: And I want to just let you know that one of the things that we can learn about the favor, because the first thing, the first thing I set up for you a couple of episodes back, was that you have this favor surrounding you. You're not just making through life on your own. You are having this favor as an advantage for you. And yesterday I was talking to you on the importance of understanding how from the life of Esther that some people, the right people who want to support you and will pay special interest towards you just like that.

1:51 Speaker 2: You don't know why they like you, You don't know what made them to be good to you. That is the favor of God. Now today we're going to talk about another aspect can understand from this incident with God to Esther of how the favorite of God sits you apart.

2:08 Speaker 2: Who were in that place, you know, young women who were you know, getting trained and getting ready to probably meet with the king one day, three years down the line to a point where the King is going to choose the next queen right, there were thousands in the line, and Esther did not have anything to back her up in terms of her background, in terms of a community or anything. I mean, she was at a disadvantage in fact. But here's the thing I wanted to understand. Out of there's so many thousands, she was chosen to become the queen.

2:44 Speaker 2: You get what I'm saying out of Here's the thing I wanted to understand. Right when you know that you're a person who's called by God, and you know the calling or the area that God has called you or leading you towards, I wanted to understand that you need to be a where that you have the favor of God upon your life. Even if there are so many people in the queue, if there are so many competitors, if there are so many people in the line, you still will be the one chosen because of God's favor upon your life.

3:15 Speaker 2: You can't put data on it, you can't put a finger on it. You can't say this is the reason it happened, But it would be because the favor of God rests upon you. And you know why the favor of God rests upon you, Not for you to just get the position, not for you to just fulfill a childhood wish or something like that. Is because God took Esther to the throne, because a moment comes in history where all the Jews were in trouble, right, a man played a role in trying to eradicate all the Jews, and because of Esther's position, she was able to use that position, use that calling, use that opportunity that she had as to be the queen to you that moment to prevent the eradication of Jews.

4:04 Speaker 2: You get what I'm saying. This is what I wanted to understand, guys, this is what I wanted to understand. That it's you know, why do I talk about God's favor. It's not just for you to just say, you know what, Oh, you know what, I, out of so many people who are waiting for in line to get a job, I was the one chosen. Yes, not for you to just boast about it, but so that you can fulfill the purpose of God through that position, for you to have the finance to enhance His kingdom for you, Like, oh my gosh, you know what.

4:31 Speaker 2: There are so many people competitors for the same client, but maybe out of all the competitors you are chosen, not for you because of your anything great, but it's the favor of God that causes them to choose you and so that you can build the Kingdom of God through that financial aid that you get. Or you may be in a position where you're like, oh my gosh, you know this person is, you know, like most wanted by so many people, that person is deciding to choose you. How it's because of the favor of God.

5:06 Speaker 2: You get that opportunity coming away, because of the favor of God that out of so many people, you are chosen. Out of thousands of people who applied, you were the one chosen.

5:20 Speaker 3: What is that? That is the favor?

5:22 Speaker 2: Out of so many people hitting on someone, you were chosen? What is that? That is the favor of God? The favor that helps you stand out in the midst of so many Can I tell you something, guys, listen to this. Even in my life, I've seen this where there were moments when I spoke. Even when I was in the university, I shared this example so many times, but students whenever allowed to minister in the big public arenas in the university. Because I studied in the largest Christian university in India, And even in the midst of that, I was given the opportunity to minister.

5:54 Speaker 2: People ask how did you get the chance? Because I was not even closely closely associated or anything at that point of time. But how did you get an opportunity? How no one else got this chance? No one else has done this before in history?

6:07 Speaker 2: Can I tell you something that is the favor that sets you apart from thousands of people to stand out

6:16 Speaker 2: even with the regard to the podcast ragging up the charts and being, you know, among the top point six percent of all the podcasts in the world. Like, I'm not saying all of this to poast but to inspire and encourage you. Why it's not about me. I'm not getting any personal benefit of the podcast being in the top point six right now. At least, here's the thing. What is the benefit? Because people being blessed, that's what matters. People being enriched and edified. The messages are inspiring them to have the faith to believe that God will enable them to step into the calling that God has in store for them.

6:52 Speaker 2: Even if it feels like, oh my gosh, you know what, you don't stand a chance there are so many people who have big dreams. There's so many people who are trying out this. There's so many people who on social media, but you're going to stand out. There's so many you know, like for example, right out of four million podcasts, this podcast being on the point top point six percent of all the podcasts in the world, Like, how does this that happen?

7:11 Speaker 3: How does this climb the ladder? It's not just me. It is the work of God.

7:16 Speaker 2: And today this is what I want you to understand, guys, that the Lord is upon your life. The Lord is leading you, The Lord is guiding you. And today God is going to give you the grace to fulfill the purpose that He has for you. So today instead of thinking that, oh my gosh, I'm at a disadvantage, I have these competitors who are huge. These people have an advantage. They look at their personality, look at their trade, look at their background, look at their qualification. I don't stand the chance.

7:44 Speaker 2: But can I tell you something. The favor of God helps you set apart more than what you can do by earning yourself way through it.
