0:45 Speaker 2: Hey God, MICHELI such a joy for me to be with you today on this segment of the Fuel for the Soul with John GIFTA podcast. As you to listen. For the past couple of days, we've been doing various things that we can learn from this incident recorded in John chapter two when Jesus sterne walt it into wine. Today as well, I'm going to talk about another important aspect where we can learn this and inculcate this. And this might be a word of encouragement to you if you're going through a season of loss you're going through a season of setback, a season where things that you had is also gone and it's taken away from you, or you made a decision that you didn't think that you know what, this is how your life would be at this point of time.

1:25 Speaker 2: Maybe you lost a job, maybe your relationship that you were hoping would work out did not work out in the end, or maybe would to a client that you were working on and suddenly backtracked, and now you're left in square one and you're like, oh my goodness, John, I do not know what to do. I mean a season of especially right now with the war that's happening in the Middle East, and I just want to take a minute to say a what a prayer right now? Or those who are impacted by this war, whether they're impacted directly by the war, I want you to just say a what a prayer for them in the name of Jesus Christ, for those who are affected by it, those lost allowed ones in this process.

2:03 Speaker 2: We pray for peace in the region and also for also those who are indirectly impacted. One of the things that's happening is there's a oil crisis happening, or there's this crisis happening, like when even with gas and so many restaurants and businesses in the food industry because of oil, even the transportation industry, everything is taking ahead because of this. So that just reminds me of a moment where when sometimes you know, when the resources are affected, right, you know, it can just hit you really hard.

2:36 Speaker 2: And this is a moment in John chapter two where predominantly required resource that was wine right out. See, it's one thing for it to just like, oh my gosh, you know what, I think it's less, so let's use it scarstly. But it's another thing when they realize like, oh my goodness, we do not know whether we planned this well or not what happened. Maybe people rank too much, or maybe there was a lack of planning. That's another message altogether, but just the thing, whatever happened today. You may be saying, John, I do not know what happened, whether I should have done something to prevent this, or maybe I should have taken some steps.

3:12 Speaker 2: But here I am John, I lost. It is over. I do not know what to do. Maybe he taken a course or taken some steps that would have helped me to be better skilled. To you, know, tackle the next promotion, but now I lost my job, or maybe I thought, you know what, if I had taken that extra step towards this relationship and maybe bright and worked out, maybe you're in that place. But today I'm telling you, you know, instead of crying over the fact that you lost it, or instead of crying over the fact that this thing is over, I wanted to understand that the fact that the wine ran out is the only reason why Jesus stepped into the scene.

3:46 Speaker 2: And he didn't just make a new wine. The Bible says that the wine he made was better off than what was left, so to a point where when the Master of Cinnemony listened to it, he said, you know what, everybody keeps the best wine for the beginning and in the beginning, and then you know, brings in the less expensive wine later, but you have kept the best for the last. And he think about this, right. God brought better wine now, better than what was lost, better than what got over. God brought something better today.

4:20 Speaker 2: I want you to look at your lost resources or lost job, or lost relationship or lost client, whatever you lost in your life with the money or anything for the matter, what you lost instead of looking at it as a lost think of it. Maybe the loss is the platform which made the room for God to bring something new, something better, something long lasting, something that you're going to look back and say, look what the Lot has done today. I want you to have that perspective because you going through that loss.

4:49 Speaker 2: It is hard when you go through that lack of resources. It is hard season where you know, like the opposite Paul was saying, you know, we often caught I can do all things through Christ to strengthens me if you see the capacities saying, you know what, I've been through seasons where I had a lot, been through seasons when I lacked, I didn't have enough. But yes, the thing, that's the whole point. You go through seasons where you don't have enough. The resources are depleting. You feel like things are not working out.

5:15 Speaker 2: You feel like you're in a dry season, a dry patch. Just doors are not opening, everything is being shut. People are walking out of your life, and things are just not looking good in your life. But I want you to understand that when you're in a season where nothing is working, that you are in a tremendous loss and you have lost everything. The only thing that you taught to You could have prevented it from going through the season, maybe by better planning or whatever. But whatever happened happened.

5:39 Speaker 2: But today I want to give you this word of encouragement. No matter what it has been, God is making no matter what it has been, God is able to use this empty room or the empty jars to bring in something new in your life. I want you to believe that. I want you to trust Him because He is able to do exceeding inabundantly, far and beyond whatever you can ask, think or even imagine. So today, so of looking at a loss as a loss, look at it as a platform for God to bring something new into your life. Amen, God bless you.
