Do you ever look around and think, Wow, the world is a crazy
place and it just seems to get crazier and crazier. Ease your mind and
take a break. This is Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. We're
a hub for inspirational Christian sermons, practical keys for Christian living, and Christian
discussions and interviews. You'll be inspired to live the life that you were created
for. Your host is a top ranking podcaster, best selling author, world
record holder, aerospace engineer, life coach, evangelist, and founder of John
Gifta International. Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. Over the
years, I've been part of so many different communities and groups. I've been
part of YouTube as groups, caster groups, speakers groups, motivational speakers groups,
and of course ministry groups where you know, connected to so many ministry
leaders and so many different people doing a lot of different works in accordance to
the area of their calling and their purpose, whether it's in the Christian realm
or in the secular realm as well. But one of the things I've seen
is a lot of people when they are coming and they're starting out, they
come with full fire. I still remember when I was part of this speakers
group, a lot of motivational speakers getting connected and I was part of this
group and there were so many people, you know, one of the things
that they would, you know, challenged to do was, you know,
interview different people, do sessions with different people, and you know, build
your community, build your you know circle, and you know, build your
influence and all of these things. And I remember there was a season where
one particular guy I can think of from the top of my head is he
used to do like three interviews every single day, like you know, he
was like full fire. Everybody was cheering for him and say, you know,
we cannot compete with him, and you know, all of these things.
But I stood my ground even though I was part of these things.
I was like, you know, let me go at the same pace that
I can go because I see, I run, I work and I run
a ministry. I've been doing this for a long period of time. But
I wanted to go at the same pace. But people look down and we're
like, oh my gosh, John, You're like a slope slope porch.
You should have done more, you should learne this. You look at the
other people look how much they were able to do, but all of those
things just died down. This particular guy, I'm talking about the three interviews
every single day, but in three months he stopped everything. And it's been
over three years and no sign of anything. No, No, he's just
living, you know, like just gone back to the corporate work life and
just living a normal life. And I can tell you so many other examples
of people, you know, even in the YouTuber's groups and you know when
when they were in that fire and the mode, releasing videos daily and you
know, all of those things, and just in a nick of time,
they just stop. They just start something because they have the fire, they
have the commitment, and then they stop. Even in podcast the groups sometimes,
you know, I've come across people who come in and you know,
they used to be like, you know, I'm gonna I came with this
mission. You know, I'm gonna be focused on my podcast. In three
months, i should explore or you know, expanded the podcast enough so that
I can make a lot of money and then I can quit my job.
But sadly, what I've seen is they just quit their podcast because whatever I've
been doing it right, you know, I've seen this over time. It's
not easy doing what you do. Running a daily podcast is just not as
easy as it seems like. Some people just don't understand it because unless you
do it, you won't know the reality of it. You won't understand and
the pain of it you don't understand. Yes, I want to be a
blessing to people, but at the same time, you know, there's a
lot of forces of darkness trying to stop you because you're doing something that is
going to bless people. The devil doesn't want you to do that. And
in reality, there are a lot of other factors, like, you know,
commitment and consistency, and you know, doing something you know even when
you don't feel like it, because you see, when you do something because
you feel like it's a different thing altogether, but doing it when you don't
feel like it is another thing. And we live in a generation, we
live at a time and age where people are led by feelings. Oh,
I don't feel like working today, so I'm going to take a leap.
I don't feel like, you know, doing my podcast or work out.
I just want to sleep. I'm just going to go and sleep. You
know, That's how a lot of people are living. But we need to
get to that place where I want to share an important principle with you,
and I want to share start off by sharing a scripture. I want to
look at the context of the scripture. But again there's a principle that we
need to understand from the scripture where Jesus was talking about in Matthew twenty four
was thirteen and a couple of scriptures sorry translations that I want to read to
you from first thing is but the one who stands firm to the end will
be saved. Another one. But the one who endures to the end will
be saved. Another one. One who perseveres to the end will be saved.
You know what you look at is the Bible is saying yes, you
know we were talking about salvation. And you know you can't be like you
know today, I give me a life Christ and then go and live a
worldly life against the principles and standard of God's word. Deviate from God,
and you know, after a while lose your faith and you can't go away
from you know the Lord and expect to still inherit and you know the salvation
plan of God. You need to endure, persevere in your faith you need
to stand firm in your faith till the end, and then you will be
saved. That's what is the context there. That's that's what you need to
understand. But there's also a principle to note that you know that you can't
just start something and stop and then expect to see success. It's not going
to work out, and it's not enough to just start, you know,
incomplete things can be signs of you know, something that's not right. You
know, anybody can start something, but real you know, like testimony comes
from somebody who is able to finish what they start. Today, I want
to ask you this question, are you a finisher or are you just somebody
who just starts something because you have the you know, like the passion and
the fire and the feeling and the emotion. But you keep starting things but
you don't end anything. Because a lot of people today are like that.
They just start today. They feel like starting on our podcast, He'll start.
I was talking to this friend of mine the other day. She was,
you know, every time I talked to her, she comes with a
different idea, you know. Or one day, you know, I'm going
to start a podcast, you know, and then two days later I'm going
to start write a book. One day, I'm going to start a business.
You know, every time I said you know, you're not going to
do anything. If you're not consistent on anything. You can't do one thing
for two days and go to do the other thing the next day, you
get what I'm saying. It's a principle where you if you want to.
You know, if you look at the original translation in you know, the
words saved, it actually means so so, which means like, how do
you say this, You're you're saved like when we say saved, saved from
generally what we say saved from, you know, hell with a hell.
But then you know you're you're saved from the clutches of sin, which includes
everything. Okay, you're saved from You're in a place of safety. That's
what it means, which means that if you want to be saved from being
in poverty, you need to be successful financially. Also, right, if
you want to be a blessing to other people, you need to be blessed
yourself as well. You need to be in a place where you need so
in that context, if you see, you know, what you need to
understand is a principle to understand it's not enough for you to just start something,
but you need to persevere to the end. You know, we're right
now in more than nine hundred episodes of this daily podcast. The YouTube channel,
as I think are almost eight hundred episodes, videos and everything that I
do. You know, I don't like to just and even the podcast where
my messages get dubbed into Tamil. In a couple of days from now,
it's going to hit one hundred episodes, you know, weekly one episode where
we're getting it dubbed. So I was like thinking, you know, I
don't want to just start something just to start and then stop. It needs
to fulfill the purpose for which God said. And at some point maybe God
may say stop this, your season is over and then you move on.
That's a different thing. But don't just start and start three episodes and stop.
You know. I'm just reminded of this and I want to close.
When I started out with the podcast where my messages are getting dubbed into Tamil
language, when I was studying about it, I saw there were so many
other podcasts in Tamil that it all started with one episode, two episodes,
a couple of episodes and then they just quit. But you know, the
biggest essence or you know, one of the blessings I'm grateful to God was
God. I thank you that you'll helpless come through to hit the one hundred
episode mile. You know it's it's not ordinary. You know that's the place
I want you. Guys, get to whatever God has called you to do,
whichever field or area you're part of. I pray that you will get
into that place of consistency. Keep doing your best, keep shining for Jesus.
And when you are persevering and enduring to the end and doing what you're
supposed to do, then you will be saved on. In other words,
whatever work you do will be seed. You know, it will bear fruit.
You will be able to reap the harvest that you've been desiring. Amen,
