1:03 Speaker 2: came out of a huge pandemic COVID nineteen post twist.

1:07 Speaker 2: We have seen so many things happening, mysterious deaths. We're

1:10 Speaker 2: seeing a rise of terrorism, shootings happening across the globe.

1:15 Speaker 2: There's so much happening where people are dying because of

1:17 Speaker 2: freak accidents. So many things that we can't even explain

1:20 Speaker 2: are happening. And today you may be in a place

1:23 Speaker 2: where you're saying, John, I'm really scared for my life,

1:25 Speaker 2: or I'm really concerned about my loud ones. Maybe it's

1:29 Speaker 2: your children, maybe your family members, your spouse, and you

1:33 Speaker 2: may be in a place where you're saying, I do

1:34 Speaker 2: not understand how things are going to work out. I'm

1:37 Speaker 2: really really concerned. I just want to let you know

1:39 Speaker 2: that no matter what, you're in the palm of God's hands.

1:42 Speaker 2: Your loud ones are in the palm of God's hands.

1:44 Speaker 2: And I'm just going to share something with you and

1:46 Speaker 2: encourage you from the word of God. From Exodus chapter two, right,

1:52 Speaker 2: there's a moment where the Egyptian pharaoh has put out

1:55 Speaker 2: a degree to kill all the Hebrew male children that

1:58 Speaker 2: are just born. The thing I wanted to understand during

2:02 Speaker 2: this period is when Moses was born. And I want

2:07 Speaker 2: you to understand something here. Moses's mom knew that Moses

2:12 Speaker 2: had a call upon his life, and what did she do?

2:16 Speaker 2: She hid him for about three months. See, there are

2:19 Speaker 2: times when you try your best to be cautious, you

2:23 Speaker 2: take steps that need to be taken. You know, I

2:26 Speaker 2: always say this, Like what you need to do, you

2:28 Speaker 2: do right. Like, sometimes you can take certain precautions. You

2:31 Speaker 2: can make sure that you know, you don't intentionally get

2:35 Speaker 2: into something that affects you. You don't have to get

2:38 Speaker 2: into something stupid and then put yourself in trouble. You know,

2:41 Speaker 2: sometimes you have to be cautious. You have to do

2:43 Speaker 2: what you can do. But here's the thing verse three,

2:46 Speaker 2: when she could no longer hide him. This is the thing.

2:50 Speaker 2: I want you to understand. Certain things you can do.

2:53 Speaker 2: Certain things you work hard, you will get a job.

2:55 Speaker 2: There are certain things you work hard, have a spirit

2:59 Speaker 2: of excellence, you able to keep the job or use

3:02 Speaker 2: certain things like you are able to you know, have

3:06 Speaker 2: healthy food. You know you'll be able to have good

3:09 Speaker 2: healthy lifestyle. But the thing is beyond that, there are

3:14 Speaker 2: times when you know, health challenges happen from nowhere, beyond

3:19 Speaker 2: you doing your best. You know, you losing your job happens,

3:23 Speaker 2: you know, beyond your control. Like what I'm trying to

3:25 Speaker 2: say is, sometimes no matter how much you do the

3:28 Speaker 2: best that you can do. There's still a moment where

3:31 Speaker 2: things go beyond a control and that's why you need

3:34 Speaker 2: to trust Card. You need to trust Card. And I

3:37 Speaker 2: want you to understand something here. So what she did.

3:39 Speaker 2: She put Moses in a papyrus basket and coated with

3:46 Speaker 2: tar and pitch. Okay, I want you to understand why

3:49 Speaker 2: she did this. And she placed the child in the

3:55 Speaker 2: bank of Nile River. And most of you know the

3:59 Speaker 2: story how the Pharaoh's daughter was bathing by the river

4:03 Speaker 2: bank and found Moses, and the rest of the story

4:06 Speaker 2: goes on. But I want to focus on something very

4:08 Speaker 2: important here right, the fact that she put this baby

4:13 Speaker 2: in the Nile River. Now, I want you to understand

4:16 Speaker 2: the Nile River is not an easy river. Okay. The

4:20 Speaker 2: currents in the Nile are dangerous, that's one side. But

4:24 Speaker 2: the bigger danger for those in the Nile River are

4:28 Speaker 2: the Nile crocodiles. This is the crocer dalas Nilo tickets. Okay.

4:34 Speaker 2: This is the kind of crocodiles. This is a huge, massive,

4:39 Speaker 2: dangerous predator found in the sub Saharan African rivers, including

4:46 Speaker 2: the Nile basin. Okay, I wanted to think about this

4:49 Speaker 2: This is something the Bible is not saying that there

4:51 Speaker 2: were crocodiles, but we know that the Nile had crocodiles. Right.

4:56 Speaker 2: Think about this, These were dangerous crocodiles. Now, what did

5:00 Speaker 2: Moses's mom do? She put him in the basket and

5:04 Speaker 2: coated with tarr and pitch. She did the best she

5:07 Speaker 2: could to make sure that Moses was safe inside the basket.

5:11 Speaker 2: But beyond that, it is only the Lord who protected Moses.

5:18 Speaker 2: I want you to understand. You do your part, you

5:20 Speaker 2: go the extra mile, you have the spirit of excellence,

5:23 Speaker 2: you work hard, you do what you need to do.

5:26 Speaker 2: But beyond that, understand that your protection comes from the Lord.

5:31 Speaker 2: You can't keep it like. Stop stressing yourself on things

5:35 Speaker 2: that are beyond your control, and say, Lord, I give

5:38 Speaker 2: up the controls and I trust you because I believe

5:41 Speaker 2: that you will protect me. You are my defender. You

5:44 Speaker 2: have my best interests at her You have good plans

5:47 Speaker 2: for my life. You have good plans for the lives

5:50 Speaker 2: of my loved ones, because I'm praying for them. The

5:52 Speaker 2: Bible talks about how remembering Abraham, God saved Lot even

5:57 Speaker 2: the Lord was in the wrong place. Remember Abraham. The

6:00 Speaker 2: Bible says God saved Lot, God remembered Lot. See remembering

6:05 Speaker 2: your prayers, the Lord will take care of your loud ones.

6:10 Speaker 2: The people you're concerned about. Pray for them, cover them.

6:15 Speaker 2: But beyond that, trust God today. If you're stressing yourself

6:19 Speaker 2: in terms of protection in this world, with regard to health,

6:23 Speaker 2: with regard to all the dangers of life with regard

6:26 Speaker 2: to losing jobs and uncertainty financially, or with regard to

6:31 Speaker 2: the challenges or the dangers post by matrimony or marriage

6:38 Speaker 2: related things, or the dangers related to different things in life,

6:42 Speaker 2: I won'ted understand today that you can trust that even

6:47 Speaker 2: when you're going through dangerous pathways. The current in the

6:51 Speaker 2: nile is strong. The crocodiles were mighty. But the good

6:58 Speaker 2: news is that the Mighty God, the stronger God, the

7:02 Speaker 2: powerful God, was backing Moses up and thought is the

7:07 Speaker 2: assurance you and I can have that no matter how

7:11 Speaker 2: life feels uncertain and goes beyond your control, you can

7:15 Speaker 2: trust that the God we serve is able to protect,

7:19 Speaker 2: watch over us and help us fulfill the purpose that
