Speaker 1: Do you ever look around and think, Wow, the world
Speaker 1: is a crazy place and it just seems to get
Speaker 1: crazier and crazier. Ease your mind and take a break.
Speaker 1: This is Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. We're
Speaker 1: a hub for inspirational Christian sermons, practical keys for Christian living,
Speaker 1: in Christian discussions and interviews. You'll be inspired to live
Speaker 1: the life that you were created for. Your host is
Speaker 1: a top ranking podcaster, best selling author, world record holder,
Speaker 1: aerospace engineer, life coach, evangelist and founder of John Gifta International.
Speaker 1: Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta.
Speaker 2: Hello doonyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for
Speaker 2: the Soul with John gift Of podcast, where we've been
Speaker 2: doing a deep dive on how to practically walk in
Speaker 2: unconditional love. I really challenge you to check out other
Speaker 2: segments in this series because we've been diving into a
Speaker 2: lot of practical things to you can either inculcate in
Speaker 2: your life or you can pray that God will help
Speaker 2: you in certain areas with regard to certain relationships that
Speaker 2: you need to make amends so that you actually live
Speaker 2: in that place or live from a place of walking
Speaker 2: in unconditional love as well. So today I want to
Speaker 2: just talk about an important aspect to in line with
Speaker 2: what I shared yesterday. I really recommend you to go
Speaker 2: and check that out. But I want to just remind
Speaker 2: you that I spoke to you on the importance of
Speaker 2: encouraging one another because the Bible says in first Solonians five,
Speaker 2: verse eleven that we need to encourage one another and
Speaker 2: we need to build people up. We'll have to build
Speaker 2: each other up. There are other scriptures like Hebrews three,
Speaker 2: verse thirteen, which again says encourage one another the daily
Speaker 2: because it's not something you need to do one off,
Speaker 2: but it should be a constant, daily thing that we
Speaker 2: need to live by from a place where we keep saying, Lord,
Speaker 2: help me to be someone who's building somebody up, helping
Speaker 2: to be someone who's seeing the best in others. And
Speaker 2: you know, I really want to challenge you today that
Speaker 2: you know, one of the things is sometimes when we
Speaker 2: are speaking to people, we want to be like, you
Speaker 2: know what, I know, I have to encourage him, but
Speaker 2: they're doing something that's not the way he's supposed to
Speaker 2: be done. So we tend to become rude sometimes we
Speaker 2: tend to be very crude in the way we say.
Speaker 2: And I really challenge you to also remember Ephesians four,
Speaker 2: verse fifteen, would says, speak the truth in love, Speak
Speaker 2: the truth in love. I want to just start by
Speaker 2: giving you an example, right, Like I remember, there was
Speaker 2: a moment. It's just a fun instance that happened, but
Speaker 2: when we had this person in my ministry, there was
Speaker 2: a time he really helped a lot in the ministry,
Speaker 2: but there was a time when he couldn't help that much.
Speaker 2: But when it was his birthday, I posted on all
Speaker 2: the ministry feeds and socials you know that he's been
Speaker 2: such a blessing in the ministry and all of that.
Speaker 2: And then he reached out to me personally and he said, John,
Speaker 2: I am very grateful that you posted about me everywhere,
Speaker 2: but I feel very guilty because I do much this time.
Speaker 2: I said, in a fun way, Well, I wanted you
Speaker 2: to feel guilty so that you will do more this time.
Speaker 2: You know. I know it's a fun thing, but I
Speaker 2: just want to remind you, right, sometimes if you want
Speaker 2: to get the best out of people, you see that
Speaker 2: they're not going the way that they're supposed to. They're
Speaker 2: not doing the best. What you can do, Like you
Speaker 2: can just go out hating on them or saying the
Speaker 2: truth in a way like, oh, you are lazy, you
Speaker 2: are not doing enough, You're not good enough. What you're
Speaker 2: doing is not making a difference. You can do that,
Speaker 2: or you can be you know, you can speak the
Speaker 2: same thing in a kind way. You can say it
Speaker 2: in a better way. You can say it in a
Speaker 2: way that will make a difference, that will make them say, hey,
Speaker 2: you know what, I feel good, I feel happy. Let
Speaker 2: me do the right thing, you know, not guilt them
Speaker 2: into doing the right thing like I did in a
Speaker 2: fun way, which I was saying, but I'm saying, you know,
Speaker 2: instead of saying, oh this person, Oh you're lazy, you're
Speaker 2: not good for anything, You're this or that. Why can't
Speaker 2: you say like, hey, I really appreciate the work you do.
Speaker 2: But if you can just do it in a different way,
Speaker 2: you will be more impactful. If you can just put
Speaker 2: in a little bit more effort, you will be able
Speaker 2: to see a better result. Like can you be in
Speaker 2: a place where you ask God to help you polish
Speaker 2: your words? You want to speak the truth? Yes, you
Speaker 2: don't have to sugarcoat You're not trying to say something
Speaker 2: in a You're not saying like, Okay, you know what,
Speaker 2: I love you to continue in this lifestyle of sain.
Speaker 2: I'm not saying that. But what I'm saying is, yes,
Speaker 2: the truth needs to be mentioned. But can you ask
Speaker 2: God to help you say that in the right way,
Speaker 2: say that with a filter of love. The Bible says
Speaker 2: it very clearly, speaking the truth in love. That's something
Speaker 2: that we need to pray because a lot of Christians
Speaker 2: tend to have this coldheartedness. Oh I'm preaching the truth.
Speaker 2: You guys are going to hell? I mean, can I
Speaker 2: tell you? Yes? It is the truth. If you don't
Speaker 2: believe in Jesus Christ, you will not be able to
Speaker 2: make it to Heaven. That's truth. But coming out in
Speaker 2: that fashion is driving people away from the Lord. It's
Speaker 2: driving them into fear and paranoid instead of actually leading
Speaker 2: them towards the love of God. Because when the Bible
Speaker 2: says perfect love casts out or fear. When you lead
Speaker 2: them to through love. If you lead them through the
Speaker 2: love that is God, is love right through God to God,
Speaker 2: what happens. You know, they're not coming to God out
Speaker 2: of fear. They're actually coming to God because they love
Speaker 2: him when they understand His love. Today, my challenge is
Speaker 2: get to that place where, yes, you want to, you know,
Speaker 2: encourage your children, you want to encourage your spouse, You
Speaker 2: want to encourage somebody in your workplace. You want to
Speaker 2: you know, you want them to do better. Say it
Speaker 2: in a nice way. Say it in a way that
Speaker 2: will actually motivate them to go and do better instead
Speaker 2: of resenting or running away when they see you. Think
Speaker 2: about it, because sometimes people can be so nagging, so
Speaker 2: irritating that somebody just wants to run away from them
Speaker 2: when they see them. Don't let that be you. You
Speaker 2: need to speak the truth to them. How will you
Speaker 2: speak the truth to them? Only thrue love? And I
Speaker 2: challenge you to do that, and I believe that your
Speaker 2: life will never be the same for the better. Amen,
Speaker 2: God bless you.
