All through this week we're looking at various lessons that we can take away from Second King Chapter twenty, revolving around the story of Hezekiah. There are so many lessons that we can and take away. I really challenge you to go back and check out the other lessons from the series, but today I want to talk about one important aspect about how when there was a moment when thee Isaiah comes and gives a word to King Asakiah, saying that he's going to die.

1:16 Speaker 2: The Bible says that instead of talking to Prophet Isaiah, instead of telling Prophet I sayer, hey, can you please pray and change the word of the Lord for me? Or instead of crying to Prophet Isaiah. You know what King Isakiah did. It's as in worse two that as Akaiah when he heard this, he turned his face to the wall and pray to the Lord. And he goes on to pray or breaks down and weeps very bitterly. And worst force is before Isaiah had left the Middle Courd, the message came from the Lord asking him to turn back.

1:52 Speaker 2: He goes back and he gives the word saying, you're not going to die. You're going to live for fifteen more years. Okay, Now, I want you to understand something. When right the mighty Prophet, the mighty Man of God, Prophet Isaiah comes and tells King Isakiah that he's going to die. And you see, sometimes, especially in the church world, in the Christian world, a lot of people put a lot of weight on profits and ministers. I believe in the office of the prophet. I believe in the office of the apostles, the fivefold ministry of the church, the teachers, the leaders, and you know, the pastors and evangelists.

2:32 Speaker 2: There's a place for all of that. The authority God has invested in a lot of people, the anointing. I believe in all of that. I'm not denying that, but I want you to think about this right. Sometimes people go to a place where people allow their life to be driven by what some prophet or a pastor or a preacher or a man of God told them. If you and I would have been in that position, probably what we would have done. Oh, the prophet himself said, I'm going to die. What's the point. The prophet himself said that there's no way out for me.

3:02 Speaker 2: It's for me to just die. That's how we would have given up. But Isekaiah shows us something very powerful. When Prophet Isaiah said you're gonna die. He didn't say if you don't change, you're gonna die. If you do this, you may have a chance to live. He didn't say anything like that, in which case maybe Isekiah could have thought like, maybe if I do this or don't do this, I might have a chance to live. But he said get ready, you're gonna die. That was the word from Prophet Isaiah. But what did King Isekiah do it?

3:33 Speaker 2: He was not in a place where he starts fighting or quarreling or writes to convince Prophet Isaiah about the change of the word. What is he? What does he do? He's crying to the Lord. Right. Sometimes you feel like, of course the prophet, the pastor's word or his prayer will have more power and authority than a common mae's prayer. That's what we would think. Or the Lord of the prophet might have more weightage than the prayer of a common man. That's what we would think. But think about this. The word of the prophet said you're going to die.

4:09 Speaker 2: But when king is a Kaiah cried to the Lord, God overturned the word of the prophet. God over wrote the word of the prophet. I'm here to announce to you today. Maybe there are people who are spoken things against you. Maybe there are circumstances that look like there's no way out for you. Maybe there are things that feel like there's no way this can change. This is your lot in life, this is how it's going to be. And maybe you thought there would be somebody standing by you. Maybe you thought that maybe a prophet, a pastor, or an apostle, or a man of God or a woman of God who would actually change the word spoken over you.

4:49 Speaker 2: But maybe they also spoke death over you. Maybe they also said there's no way out for you. But I'm here to announce to you today the same way the Bible says, like in James, that the prayer of a righteous man brings wonderful results in the healthy version, I want to tell you the prayer of a righteous woman, the prayer of a righteous child. You today, as a born again believer in the finished work of Jesus Christ. You and I are the righteousness of God in Christ. So when we pray, our prayer will produce wonderful results.

5:25 Speaker 2: You see this, dear Saints of God. There's a moment when the prophet said that there was no way out for him to live, but when he prayed, he was able to change the outcome. Today, I want to tell you today, if you're in a place where the even prophets have spoken death owver you, Pastors have spoken death over you, people have spoken death over you. Circumstances have spoken death owre you or your close ones have spoken death over you, and everything around you is saying there's no way out for you.

5:54 Speaker 2: I'm here to announce to you today, if you will look up to the Lord today, if you would pray today, if you will just turn your face towards the face of God, I'm there to announced to you He's going to change your life around him. He's going to do it if you believe or want to leave a comment saying, yes, I know my God will.

6:15 Speaker 1: Do a miracle.

6:16 Speaker 2: Yes I know my God is going to turn my life around. Because you see this that even in the midst of everything that you see, that a common man's prayer had more waitage than the word of a prophet. And today that's the word for some of you. That your prayer has more power than you can imagine. Your prayer has more authority than you can even comprehend. So don't think that your prayer is normal. Don't think it's just me praying. Because today, as a child of God, when you pray, you are the righteousness of God in Christ.

6:51 Speaker 2: And when you pray, you will see that the prayer will produce wonderful results. In Jesus my name, Lord, I want to prayer for those who are watching and Disney if they are dealing with an impossible situation, they are in a place where it feel there's no way out, or people have spoken death over them. Today they will experience the power of God through their prayer and they will see look what a lot is done.
