0:55 know, you might come across people who say things like, oh, listen,

0:58 you're always into you're getting this trouble, you're getting this issue, or

1:02 something is coming. Maybe you're not in the right track, maybe you are

1:06 away from God and so on and so forth. See, there is a

1:08 place where you need to introspect. You cannot go in the you know,

1:14 the exact opposite of what God has for you and expect your life to be

1:18 in the best place possible. It's not going to happen. Like imagine when

1:22 you look at Jonah when he ran away from God. Things didn't go out

1:26 well, you know, there was a storm and then he ended up in

1:29 the water and then inside the belly of a fish. And you see,

1:33 when you run from God, when you're going in the opposite direction, like

1:37 for example, when you take the road right, like if you're going in

1:41 the wrong side of the road, you can't say that you know what,

1:46 oh, everybody's against me, because they're coming opposite me. Right, you're

1:51 going in the wrong track. So there's a place where you need to understand

1:55 that common sense places roll that you can't go in the wrong track, and

2:00 respect that you know, all should be fine. You know you will have

2:02 trouble when you deliberately end up going in the wrong track. But at the

2:08 same time, you have to understand that just because you're a child of God,

2:12 you're not exempted from trouble. Because a lot of Christians buy into the

2:16 slide that you know, when you're truly in God, and I've seen people

2:22 actually argue and say all sorts of stuff. You know, because of what

2:25 Jesus did on the Cross, you can live of trouble free life. You

2:30 will not have any problems, you will not have any troubles, and so

2:34 on and so forth. But that is not correct, right, that is

2:38 not correct in this world because of the fallen nature of man, we still

2:42 have to deal with the issue of sin. People still die and go to

2:47 Heaven at the end if they've given their life to Jesus, and to hell

2:52 if they're not. So you understand that there are certain things that are still

2:57 prevalent because now the whole restoration or the process is not completed, like in

3:04 the sense that you know, when Jesus comes back and it makes a new

3:07 Earth and new Heaven, and you know that process. Only after that you

3:12 can get to a place where there's going to be no pain, no cry,

3:15 no worry, no whatsoever. But it's going to be you know,

3:19 no death than all of the stuff. But on planet Earth, because we

3:23 are where we are, we will have troubles, right, And you know,

3:29 I want to share one scripture with you, and I want to take

3:30 this forward. It's found in Psalm thirty four, and I'm reading from the

3:35 NLTI version, verse nineteen. The righteous person faces many troubles where the Lord

3:40 comes to the rescue each time. Interesting, it says the righteous person.

3:45 It doesn't just say the every person. You know, it says the righteous

3:50 person, which means that, see, everybody goes to troubles. You know,

3:53 the Bible says in Matthew five, the rain comes on the just and

3:57 the unjust alike. So everybody faces the ring in the storm. But there's

4:01 certain things you have to understand. Because you're the righteous of the Lord,

4:05 you're going to face some troubles that are going to be exclusive because you're of

4:10 the righteous. If you were the sinner, you know, the kind of

4:15 troubles you face is going to be different. But as a righteous person,

4:18 you will face a lot of troubles, not a few, but it says

4:23 will face many troubles. Right. Sometimes when when somebody goes to trouble,

4:29 we tend to judge, Oh, you know, they would have done this,

4:31 is something wrong they would have done that. They're not doing this.

4:34 That's why they're facing the trouble. No, sometimes you have to understand the

4:38 reason they're in trouble is because they're righteous. But the but the good news

4:44 is because you're the righteousness of God. What happens is the Bible says,

4:47 the Lord comes to rescue each time. That's the promise that you and I

4:53 have as children of God. Right. Those who just deliberately run from God,

4:59 deliberately go on the wrong track, they don't have that assurance because they're

5:03 not willing to accept God's help. They're not willing to take his guidance.

5:09 They're not willing to go in the track that is designed for them by God.

5:13 But you ask the righteousness of God, you ask the righteous child of

5:19 God. You have something, you have a benefit. You know what.

5:24 That is the fact that every time you face two s troubles, God will

5:29 rescue you, not sometimes, not a few times, but each time.

5:32 The Bible says, that's the assurance I want you to have. Like,

5:36 so today, don't feel bad that you go in through troubles. Don't feel

5:41 bad because sometimes I'll tell you, honestly, because of doing the right thing,

5:46 I've got into trouble. Because I'm following God's call and running the ministry.

5:49 I have a lot of troubles I'll tell you, honestly, more troubles

5:53 because I'm doing the work of the Lord. If I said no to God's

5:57 call, and if I walked out of my minisce, you walked out of

6:00 my calling. I'm telling you half my problems are going to be resolved but

6:04 the reason I am standing my ground and saying, you know what, I'm

6:09 going to do what God has called me to do. I have more troubles.

6:14 I'm not having more troubles because I'm doing the wrong thing. I don't

6:16 I don't know why I'm but I'm trained. I want to reenterate that to

6:19 you guys, because there's this idea that there's a lot of troubles that means

6:24 I'm doing something wrong. No, you have a lot of trouble because you're

6:27 doing what is right. The enemy is mad at you. He wants to

6:31 stop you, he wants to discourage you. And today I want you to

6:34 be filled with a confidence and hope knowing that because you're doing what God has

6:40 called you to do, because you're holding on to righteousness, because you're still

6:45 living the life has but the standard of God. God is going to help

6:48 you each time to come out of those troubles. Come out of those troubles.

6:55 Now, sometimes I've seen people when they are in the Lord, when

6:58 they're anointed, this trouble lefter trouble, lefter trouble, and the world point

7:02 of view, it looks like, Oh, this person is so stupid,

7:04 this person is so bad, but you actually realize it's persecution. The trouble

7:09 keeps coming again and again and again, but you see they're coming out victorious

7:13 because of the Lord. And today I want you guys to understand this.

7:17 Just because you're a Christian, you're not exempted from trouble. Don't buy into

7:23 that gospel where people preach that once you give a left to Jesus you won't

7:28 have troubles. No, that's not truth. That's lies. Jesus said in

7:31 this world you will have troubles, but the good news is true it all.

7:35 You're going to come out victorious through it all. We're gonna see the

7:40 hand of God each time taking us out of the trouble so that we will

7:45 get to the next level of our glory. Just look at it like a

7:49 video game, right, Like I don't play too many video games, so

7:53 all I can remember is Mario, for example, you know, is just

7:58 running around and obstacles keep come and he keeps jumping and then he goes down.

8:01 Some of you mayn't Mary, I think most of you may marry,

8:05 you know, and he just jumps here and there no obstacles in all these

8:09 video games. That's what happens right, so many obstacles a video game.

8:13 Imagine a video game without obstacles. You'll feel like boring man, Why am

8:16 I even playing this game? You like to wait through the obstacles each time

8:20 you fall, and then you come up and you get better, you learn

8:24 you Yeah, that's what you do, right? If that's what makes the

8:26 video game exciting? Shouldn't your troubles excite you because you are in a place

8:31 where you're saying, Wow, my God is showing up each time. My

8:35 God is helping me get better each time, My God is helping me learn

8:37 something, growth through this and come out victorious in Jesus name. Amen,
