0:54 go through moments in life when we come across snaky comments, when people just

0:59 want to walk insult and put you down. They just want to size you

1:03 up. They just look at your life and they say, you know what,

1:06 who do you think you are? You are a nobody. I know

1:07 where you come from. And sometimes what they say may stay true in the

1:12 natural because they know you, they grew up with you, or they could

1:15 be relatives, it could be maybe friends, it could be people who have

1:21 seen you grow consists for many, many years, and so they think that

1:26 you know what what what you're up to is nothing good. So they want

1:32 to put you down. They want to keep you under control, they want

1:34 to manipulate you, they want to, you know, put you in that

1:38 mold, in a box, so that you will not step into the fullness

1:42 of your destiny. But what I want you guys to understand is that when

1:47 you face those comments, first of all, understand people don't determine your destiny.

1:51 God does. Don't let those comments. Don't let those opinions of people

1:56 push you down. Don't let them keep you down. Let don't let them

1:59 control you. Don't let them manipulate you. Don't let them to change you.

2:04 Be who God created you to be. Be confident in the person that

2:07 God has created you to be for such a time as this, for a

2:12 specific purpose, for a specific assignment. Remember, not everybody's going to understand

2:16 you. Not everybody is going to be there supporting and cheering you as you

2:21 step into your calling. Some are going to think you're stupid. Some are

2:23 going to think you're dumb. Some of people are going to just think that

2:28 you don't understand the seriousness of it. But be confident and be bold who

2:32 God created you to be. Now, when you look at for Samuel,

2:36 chapter seventeen, there's a moment when you understand that the people of God,

2:42 the people of Israel, the Chosen Ones, are in deep trouble. They're

2:46 being taunted by their enemies. There's this big, giant Goliath whose such a

2:52 threat to them. The Philistines are constantly targeting them, and they do not

2:55 know what to do. And at this moment, there's some point you realize

3:01 that David who had the inner warrior spirit in him. You know, even

3:07 when all the other soldiers were scared, they were running errands, nobody had

3:12 the courage to face Goliath. This guy had that boldness. He had that

3:15 thing where he wanted to, you know, get more information so that he

3:20 can go fight. Because you see, when you are called to do something

3:23 extraordinary, you will have that boldness that other people don't have. Okay,

3:28 that's another message altogether. So what I'm saying is when you step into that,

3:31 you will come across people who are trying to stop you. That's exactly

3:35 what David's elder brother did in verse twenty eight, where he hears about what

3:42 David was doing talking to other men, he got so mad he was trying

3:46 to put him down. He said, what are you doing here? Why

3:49 aren't you minding your own business tending to that scrawny flock of sheep. He

3:53 was trying to put him down in front of everybody, shouting and saying,

3:57 you know you you're just to be a shopper. You can only take care

4:00 of sheep, those scrawny those. It was, it was, it was

4:03 literally putting his brother down, mocking him. There. You know you're you're

4:08 that's where you are, This is where you belong. You know, I

4:12 size you up. That's exactly what David's brother did, right what. I

4:18 don't know what you're up to. You're you're blah blah blah, And this

4:21 is what happens, okay in verse twenty nine, and you know I'm reading

4:26 from the message version um where it's verse twenty nine, verse thirty together.

4:30 What is it with you? Replied David. All I asked was a question.

4:35 And this is what is so powerful, he says, ignoring his brother.

4:40 He turned to someone else and continued his conversation. Ignoring his brother.

4:46 He turned to someone else. If you look at different translations, that's what

4:49 it says. He turned to somebody else and began his conversation. I want

4:54 you guys to understand, when you get snarky comments, you don't have to

4:59 go fight with them. You don't have to go and try to prove your

5:01 point with them, trying to make them apologize or whatever. David did not

5:06 say, Hey, how dare you say that about me? How dare you

5:11 size me up? How dare you criticize me? How dare you mock me?

5:14 He was not saying all of that, and he was not sitting there

5:16 trying to fight and prove his point to his brother. The Bible says he

5:20 ignored his brother, and he continued to do what he was supposed to do.

5:25 Amyah to tell you, guys, you know, in your life you

5:28 will face moments where people are snaki. You will face moments when people want

5:32 to mock you, they want to criticize you. And I'm telling you,

5:34 in my life, because of the position that I hold being a preacher,

5:41 being a minister of the Gospel, because of the influence of different things that

5:46 I do, or even other things like comedy or even my love for Scooby

5:50 Doo, all of these things in my life, I face tremendous amount of

5:56 mockery or snoky comments and people saying things that can be very hurtful when you

6:04 allow that to sink in, it can really you know, make you run

6:09 under the carpet and hide. But you know what, that's not what we

6:13 are supposed to do. You know, we these same people like Eliab who

6:17 are putting down David. We cannot tell any good quality about Eliab. We

6:23 can never talk about any of the achievements of Eliab. Nobody says, you

6:28 know what, I want to be like an Eliab. Everybody says I want

6:31 to be like a David. I want to achieve things like David did.

6:35 I want to be a man of the guards on heart like David. I

6:39 want to you know, conquered giants like David. Nobody says I want to

6:43 be like Eliab. What I want you to understand is you be a David

6:49 who will ignore the snarky comments. Don't let them stop you. You know,

6:55 when I look back over the shoulders. People made all sorts of comments

6:58 about the podcast. They said, who is even going to listen to your

7:01 ramblings? They said, you know this is not going to work out,

7:04 This is not going to happen. Nothing good is going to come out of

7:06 it. But if I allow those negative comments to stop me. You know

7:12 there were moments when they said that literally nobody was listening. Do you know

7:16 there were moments when I organize meetings, literally nobody has showed up. But

7:20 because I continue to do what God called me to do, ignoring those comments,

7:26 ignoring those negative naysayers, I continue to do what I'm supposed to do.

7:31 Those people who pushed me down, put me in a bad spot,

7:35 who mocked me, who ready culled me, you don't have any clue what

7:41 they're even up to in their life. I'm not putting anyone down, but

7:45 you have no clue what's going on. But God has brought me thus far

7:48 because I stayed true to who God's created me to be. Today, I

7:53 want to speak over you guys that you will stay true to who God created

7:57 you to be. Stay bold against all odds, even if other people don't

8:01 understand. It doesn't matter. Be who gots creat to be. You will

8:05 be known as the giants Layer. You would be known as the man or

8:09 a woman after God's own hot that people will say. I want to appeal
