0:43 Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. I'm going to talk to you about the reason why they're attacking you. I want to start off by shotting a scripture with you. This forward and it is found in the Book of Mark, chapter eleven. And now I want to talk to you about a moment when all of these Pharisees and the religious leaders were pretty mad at Jesus. Okay, they're in a place where they want to kill Jesus. If you look at verse eighteen, and I'm reading to you from the NIV version, says the chief priests and the teachers of the law heard this, which means they heard what Jesus was teaching, what he was just speaking, and began looking for a way to kill him, for they feared him.

1:37 Because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching. They began to look for a way to kill him, for they feared him. What I want you guys to understand is the reason they wanted to kill him wasn't because they feared him. What I want you guys to understand is sometimes in your life, you may be in a place where you're saying, I don't know why I'm being attacked. I don't know why I'm always getting these opposition, these challenges, these these these things thrown at me. I don't know why these people don't like me.

2:09 I don't know why these people are always attacking and making sure that I'm in a bad shape. I don't know why my life is at staying. I don't know why things are not working out. I don't know why the enemy is constantly targeting me, and why am I always being a point of target at all given points of time? Well years a moment, you see the reason why Jesus was being targeted, why they were planning to kill Jesus was not because Jesus was doing something wrong. It was not because they found some fault with Jesus.

2:41 They could not find any fault with Jesus. The reason they wanted to kill him, there were reason why they didn't like him. The reason why they couldn't accept him was because they feared him. I wanted to have this new perspective. The reason why you're being attacked, it's not because you did something wrong. It's not because you're a bad person. And it's not because you're a mistake. It's not because you're in the wrong place. It's because you are being feared because of what you carry. You know, I loved what I heard the other day by a minister.

3:16 And this minister was sharing and said, an enemy comes to kill steel and destroy the Bible, says Jesus said it in John ten ten and he said that a thief will never go to an empty house. You know, he'll always attack an house that is loaded. He was looked for an house that is loaded. If you see, I'm reminded of Home Alone movie where in the first movie where the burglars want to rob the house, the statement that he makes is this house is loaded. You know, there's so much in it and we need to go there.

3:52 So what I want you to understand this. And enemy will attack a loaded house. A robber will attack a load loaded house because that's where there is something for him to take. The reason you're being attacked it is not because you're stupid or dumb. Is not because there's nothing for you to offer to this world. The reason you're being attacked is because the enemy knows what you carry. The enemy knows what you have. The enemy knows sometimes you know, the enemy knows more about what you have and the the anointing upon your life, the gift in you and and the potential that you have and what you can do to transform this world, more than you know about yourself.

4:29 And yere's the key. By seeing how the enemy is scared of you and targeting you, you can know what you carry. You can know the level or the degree and the magnitude of what you carry. And I want you to have that perspective. You know, I'm also reminded and I want to share this, like when you look at many of the animals now, the reason they attack you is not because they actually want to attack you. Sometimes you know, for the most part, they're not. If you're just calm, they're colme, you're fine, they're fine.

5:03 But sometimes the reason they attack you is because they're scared of you. You know, And today I want you to have this perspective. Today, the reason why you're being attacked is because they're scared of you. They're scared of what you might do. The enemy is attacking you because he's scared. When you walk in your purpose, the enemy is going to be crushed. When you fulfill your purpose, lives are going to be transformed. You're going to shine your light for Jesus, and so many souls are coming to the Kingdom of God through your life.

5:32 And that's why the enemy is after your life. And today I want you to have this perspective. No matter how your life is looking like right now, just know the real reason why they're attacking you or are after you is because they're afraid of you. Is because they see what you carry, because they know what you have. And today I pray that you will not let touch tolp you, that you will push through all the odds and step into the fullness of what God has for you. In Jesus name, I pray Amen God bless you.
