Speaker 1: Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta.
Speaker 2: But I want to quickly start by sharing a verse with you, and I want to take this forward because I believe that this is something that really spoke to me, stood out to me when I was going through the scriptures this morning, and it is found in Galatians chapter four. If you just go down this passage, there's a moment when the apostle Paul says this as he addresses them. He says this in verse thirteen. Surely you remember that I was sick when I first brought you the good news. But even though my condition tempted you to reject me.
Speaker 2: You did not despise me or turn me away. No, you took me in and cared for me. As so I'm an angel from God or even Christ Jesus himself. I know this seems like an arbitrary passage that I just took you through a very random place, but it really caught up and spoke to me, because you know, sometimes we look at the condition that we're in, We look at the struggles we are in the season that you were in, We look at all the limitations. Maybe you're in chains, Maybe there are addictions that are secret since you're dealing with, or maybe you have a health condition.
Speaker 2: Maybe you are d with some area where you know that it's not the best. You want got to show up and show out. You want God to heal you, deliver you, set you free. You want God to help you walk in the wholeness and the and and the fullness of what He has in store for you. But but you're still having this struggle. You're still having this this pain, You're going through this turmoil. You're going through this chain that is limiting you, chaining you and and and and causing you to you know, and not experience the fullness of the freedom that you are preaching to others about.
Speaker 2: You may be in a position like that. You're saying, maybe I'm not fit to preach, I'm not fit to minister. Maybe God cannot use me because I have all these issues that I'm dealing with myself. The apostle pole is saying, I was sick when I preached to you, but still you accepted me, and you accepted me as so I was an angel or you know that the Lord himself sent me, or Jesus send me. You know you are so kind, and you know that really caught my attention because you know, even Yester, I felt like I was so unworthy to be a minister.
Speaker 2: I felt like, oh my gosh, I have all these areas where I'm not perfect. I have all these areas that I'm still dealing with. I felt like, oh my goodness, you know I'm not perfect. As much as I want to be, I want to acknowledge God in all my ways. This is something I was preaching to you about just last week. But there are areas I'm still struggling where I'm like, oh my gosh, I'm not able to literally, you know, experience the fullness of it in my own life. You know, I'm just being authentic. I'm just being myself and sharing this with you.
Speaker 2: And at that point of time, the Lord was giving me this word to say, yes, you may be having areas that you are not still seeing the fullness of what God has for you. Maybe the fullness of the freedom, the fullness of the wholeness, the fullness of the kind of life, the abundant life, the fullness of life that God came to give you. And Jesus said in John ten ten, you know, in spite of that, I can still use you. In spite of that, I'm still using you. You know, yesterday while I was feeling low, you know, the Lord led me and I happened to minister to somebody and it was so astonishing because as I preached and I gave a word, you know that you know that the person is experience.
Speaker 2: I was just praying over the telephone and I said, you know what, I see a vision of the you knowing of God coming on you like electricity. And this other person said that while I was sharing that, she was experiencing like electricity coming through her through the telephone. You're like all over our body at that moment, I realized that, yes I may not be perfect. Yes I may have areas that I'm still praying and asking God to change. I'm asking God to intervene. I'm asking God to perfect in some areas of my life.
Speaker 2: But in spite of my imperfections, in spite of my struggles, in spite of my weaknesses, in spite of you know, the challenges that I'm facing, the limitations and the change that I'm holding on that I'm trying to break out of. I want you to understand it was It was like God was saying, you know what. The apostle Paul had his own chain at that moment. He had his own sickness at that moment, but God did not allow that to stop him from being a blessing to those people. And that same thing happened to me.
Speaker 2: God did not allow my limitations or the change to limit me from being a blessing to somebody else. I want you to understand that, you know, God can use you in spite of your change. God can use you to be a light in the darkness. God can use you in your workplace. God can use you in your schools and colleges. God can use you whenever He has placed you, in your neighborhood, in your community, wherever God has placed you. Stop looking at your limitations, stop looking at your change, Stop looking and focusing on the on the sickness or the health condition, or the mental health condition, or whatever you're dealing with today, even emotionally.
Speaker 2: I want you to understand, if you committed to God, God can still use you. In the name of Jesus, I pray God is going to use you. Receive it in the name of Jesus. God, bless you.
