Speaker 1: and Christian discussions and interviews. You'll be inspired to live

Speaker 1: Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta.
Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for
Speaker 2: the Soul with John gift of podcast. And as you
Speaker 2: would have seen that, we're doing a series on how
Speaker 2: to practically walk in unconditional allow I really challenge you
Speaker 2: to go back and listen to these segments because there's
Speaker 2: so many things that you can learn and unpse sometimes
Speaker 2: it can we just revisiting them and to remind and
Speaker 2: make sure that you sync with the Holy Spirit to
Speaker 2: see there are areas in your life where you can
Speaker 2: incorporate these so that you can walk into kind of
Speaker 2: love that God wants has to live by. And today
Speaker 2: I'm going to talk about an important, important aspect about
Speaker 2: what the Bible says should be our lifestyle when we
Speaker 2: are walking in unconditional love with towards people. A couple
Speaker 2: of scriptures and then I want to take this forward.
Speaker 2: First there Salonians five, verse eleven, where it says, therefore,
Speaker 2: encourage one another and build each other up. Remember this,
Speaker 2: encourage one another and build each other up. When you
Speaker 2: look at Hebrews three, verse thirteen, it says encourage one
Speaker 2: another daily. Encourage one another, not once in a while,
Speaker 2: not when you feel like it, but daily. And the
Speaker 2: Bible also is saying in Hebrews ten that we need
Speaker 2: to be encouraging one another. When you look at verses
Speaker 2: twenty four to twenty five and so on. Here's the
Speaker 2: thing I want to talk about. The commonality of all
Speaker 2: these scriptures is that the Bible is telling us to
Speaker 2: be people who are encouraging one another and people who
Speaker 2: will build each other up. Because a lot of times
Speaker 2: the focus is always on what will I get from this?
Speaker 2: What is about me? It's all about me. But when
Speaker 2: you look at the scripture which says in first Corinthians
Speaker 2: Septer thirteen, verse five. It says that love is not
Speaker 2: self seeking because we live in a time and age
Speaker 2: when it's all about self gratification. What can I get?
Speaker 2: What will I benefit for out of this? But God
Speaker 2: is asking us to be people who will walk not
Speaker 2: from self seeking attitude, but from a place where we
Speaker 2: build each other up. We want to build other people,
Speaker 2: We want to encourage other people. One of my heartbeats
Speaker 2: is always to encourage one another, even if you see
Speaker 2: through the Bible. The Bible says in Romans chapter twelve,
Speaker 2: verse eight, that we are those who call to encourage
Speaker 2: be encouraged. And I believe that's one of my major gifts.
Speaker 2: I try to look for reasons or look for ways
Speaker 2: to encourage somebody. Even if somebody is into content creation,
Speaker 2: I encouraged him, I share their content, or I like
Speaker 2: and engage with those content like I really challenge you
Speaker 2: guys to have that attitude of being in a place
Speaker 2: where you want to encourage them through words, through encouragement,
Speaker 2: through you know, by actions. You know. I always tell
Speaker 2: this some I remember this moment where I went to
Speaker 2: this place where there was this conference and there were
Speaker 2: people who were selling some things. There and it wasn't
Speaker 2: very impressive, but I said, okay, let me get this.
Speaker 2: And a friend of mine was standing next to me
Speaker 2: and said, why are you getting this? He openly said this,
Speaker 2: He said it doesn't look that great, and I said, no,
Speaker 2: I just want to encourage them. And the person who
Speaker 2: was at the counter heard a tense smile and I
Speaker 2: could see that she was life filled with that joy
Speaker 2: like this is this is really really like wow, because
Speaker 2: no one else was buying. You know, I still remember,
Speaker 2: even as a kid, I remember this going to carnivals
Speaker 2: and I would look at people whose shops are not
Speaker 2: getting any traction, and I would say, I want to
Speaker 2: get this. I want to get that, like even if
Speaker 2: it's not something I want to get for getting it,
Speaker 2: but I just want to get it to encourage someone.
Speaker 2: You know, I really challenge you, like, you know, to
Speaker 2: be in a place where you look for ways to
Speaker 2: be a blessing to people. You want to cheer someone up,
Speaker 2: encourage someone. You see somebody who's in trouble. Don't just
Speaker 2: say oh, I hope all is well and just walk off.
Speaker 2: Be in a place where you're like, hey, you don't
Speaker 2: feel well, Like are you okay? Let me give you
Speaker 2: an encouraging word, encourage someone, go the extra mile. Like
Speaker 2: sometimes I think I've shared this even a couple of
Speaker 2: episodes back, I said that, you know, when the pastor preached,
Speaker 2: I just didn't just people could have implicately said that's
Speaker 2: his job, but I said, no, you know what, you
Speaker 2: appreciate it. Well today it was great. You don't do
Speaker 2: it in a sense of saying it for the sake
Speaker 2: of it. But you know, you need to learn and
Speaker 2: ask God to give you that you know, strategy to
Speaker 2: be the right kind of an encourageer. Like you know,
Speaker 2: some people do not know how to do it. They
Speaker 2: overdo all of that. It feels like a fake thing
Speaker 2: and all of that. No, you need to know how
Speaker 2: to be someone who's willing to go out and be
Speaker 2: that encourage here, encourage them, build people up. Like you
Speaker 2: see somebody is trying to do something, Go out and
Speaker 2: whatever way you can help you. You have a social
Speaker 2: media feed, you want to share somebody else's work, go
Speaker 2: out and share it nobody. I mean, you're not paying
Speaker 2: anything to do that. You're just helping someone. You're just
Speaker 2: building someone, help helse up. Can you be someone who
Speaker 2: will be willing to do that today. I challenge you
Speaker 2: instead of just living for yourself, instead of being self seeking,
Speaker 2: today ask God and be in a place where you
Speaker 2: are determined to encourage someone. Say God, help me to
Speaker 2: build somebody up, maybe through my words, through my works,
Speaker 2: through money, through encouragement, through support, through posting on social
Speaker 2: media for someone else, through something. Help me to be
Speaker 2: in raging towards somebody i'lp me to build them up.
Speaker 2: Or a lot of people are just in especially like
Speaker 2: if you look at somebody walking in a calling, maybe
Speaker 2: people who are going through tough times. You know, those
Speaker 2: are moments they really sometimes a simple word can help them,
Speaker 2: a simple act can bless them. Sometimes it would be
Speaker 2: something as simple as saying, hey, how are you or
Speaker 2: I'm praying for you. That can be life defining for
Speaker 2: them at that moment. I'm telling you, guys, you need
Speaker 2: to be someone who goes the extra mile and encouraging
Speaker 2: other people. Don't withhold encouragement, don't withhold kind words, don't
Speaker 2: withhold being generous, don't withhold giving up for people, because
Speaker 2: you need to be someone who's saying, you know what,
Speaker 2: it's not just me, We're building each other up. Because
Speaker 2: today you may not need encouragement as much as somebody else,
Speaker 2: but someday you may need encouragement. So I really challenge
Speaker 2: you to make it that commitment to encourage one another
Speaker 2: in whatever or capacity. See, even when you listen to
Speaker 2: a podcast like this, you can just listen and just leave,
Speaker 2: but I challenge you, like if you can come back
Speaker 2: through social media, come back through the contact form on
Speaker 2: my website, come back through WhatsApp or some way and say, Hey, John,
Speaker 2: this message blessed me, or encourage me, or this podcast
Speaker 2: has been a blessing to me. Or if you can
Speaker 2: leave a rating or a review. That's how you can
Speaker 2: practically encourage me in the work that I'm doing. And
Speaker 2: I really challenge you to do that. Why not for
Speaker 2: a place like I'm trying to self seek, But I'm
Speaker 2: trying to tell you to cultivate that quality of building
Speaker 2: each other up. And when you do that, that's the
Speaker 2: way we can build each other up and build the
Speaker 2: Kingdom of God together. Amen. God bless you.
