All through this week we are looking at various lessons we can take away from the incident recorded in Acts chip to twelve. One of the things I wanted to understand is that times we look at what is happening with life and we're thinking, this is all which is my lot in life. This is what has happened for somebody else in my family life, This is what is happening to everyone else in the community, neighborhood, or in my job circle.

1:13 Speaker 2: But I want you to understand the God we serve is a supernatural god. God doesn't just want us to live on mediocre, normal life. He wants to do amazing things which will exceed your expectations, so that by your life and your testimony, many more will be coming to know who our lot and say where Jesus Christ really is.

1:36 Speaker 2: One of the things I want to talk about from this incident is about how when Peter was in a place where he's about to be killed, just like the apostle James, there's a supernatural miracle that happens. And what really catches our attention is that when the miracle happened, Peter didn't even realize it was real. He thought it was a vision. And you look at verse eleven, it says that Peter finally came to his senses. It's really true. He said, the Lord has sent his angel and saved me from Herod and from what the Jewish leaders had planned to do to me.

2:11 Speaker 2: And verse tuelis says when he realized this, he went to the home of Mary. Now think about this, when the miracle was happening, he didn't even realize that he was in the midst of a miracle. He didn't realize he was encountering an angel. He didn't realize that he was in the midst of history. He didn't realize what was actually happening. What I want you to understand is, sometimes your life may look like nothing is happening. You may feel like you're just being pushed. You may feel like you're just going with the flow.

2:39 Speaker 2: You may feel like you're just going through life and nothing is special or different. You just feel like it's just a wild dream. Maybe some cases. But I want you to understand sometimes only when you come out, when you come to the other side, you look back and say, look what the Lord has done. This is not ordinary. This was a miracle. This door was actually a miracle. This opportunity was an answer from heaven. This person was not just randomly there. This person was a divine connection. See, I want you to think about this.

3:14 Speaker 2: He didn't even realize. Only after coming to his senses, and the Bible says then he realized what it was. And in fact, when he goes to their house, what happens is the believers are they're praying. The servant girl Roda, what happens She hears Peter's voice, and she goes and says, hey, it's Peter. See think about the excitement. She's like, we're praying for Peter's deliverance, and she's excited that she didn't even think of opening the door. And other people are not even believing. So what I wanted to understand here is that the miracle that God wants to do over your life is going to make people even question if it was real or not.

3:52 Speaker 2: He's going to be like that that's just too good to be true, man, Like I mean, come on, it's not gonna happen, Like it's an idea. They were praying for Peter, but they do not have the faith to believe when the answer was at the door. That's the way God wants to supernaturally show. Peter himself did not realize what was happening, and the people also did not realize when the miracle happened. What I want you to understand is that your life may feel like nothing is changing, nothing is happening, and just have to accept this is your lot in life.

4:24 Speaker 2: This is how it's always going to be. This is going to be your financial state, this is going to be your relationship status, this is going to be your career level. But I want you to understand the same way God supernaturally did the miracle for Peter when he didn't even realize he was getting a miracle, the way when the believers were praying, they didn't even believe when the answer was at the door. I want you to understand. God is going to exceed your expectations. God is going to go the extra mile.

4:51 Speaker 2: God is going to do something that is going to blow your mind. God is going to do something that you're going to say, this was nothing, d this was the hand of God. This was a move of God. This is a miracle from heaven. That's what God wants to do over your life. You may be looking at your life from the natural, but I want to tell you something. I want you to believe big. I want you to trust God. I want you to really take these scriptures. Don't just look at them as stories in the scripture, but say, God, if you did it for Peter, you're going to do it for John.

5:24 Speaker 2: If you do it for John, you're going to do it for me. You're going to do anything and everything so that not for me, but so that my life will be a testament to who you are. When Peter was delivered, it was not just about Peter going and saying, guys, I was rescued, But Peter being delivered was because after that he was able to bring so many souls into the kingdom. I want you to understand your miracle is just not about you. The miracle is not just about you going and trumpeting and saying, see, I got this miracle.

6:01 Speaker 2: The miracle is for you to go and continue to do the work that will help the kingdom to be enhanced. God wants to use you to be a blessing. God wants to use you, your position, your financial state, your influence to bring in souls into the world. Today. I want to pray in Jesus' name that this world will go forth and challenge you in your work to understand the depth of what God wants to do, that he wants to exceed expectations. And when he does the miracle in your life, even you won't realize the miracle.

6:45 Speaker 2: When He does the miracle in your life, even the people who are close to you, who are praying and having good intentions towards you, will actually question and say, are you sure that's a miracle or are you getting scammed or is it just something like a skip of the enemy. That's the way God is going to blow your mind. And I want to pray and release in Jesus name, if you're praying for a miracle or breakthrough, that this world will go forth and challenge you and strengthen you in that place and you will come back with a amazing testimony of how God delivered you so that you can fulfill the purpose that He has and stuff for you.
