Your host is a top ranking podcaster, best selling author, world record holder, aerospace engineer, life coach, evangelist, and founder of John Gifta International Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta.
Speaker 2: Come to dissolution of the Fuel for the Soul but John gift of podcast. As you've been checking out our recent episodes, we're doing a series on understanding that you and I are not just here by ourselves, but we are having the favor of God that is surrounding us, that are resting upon us and enabling us to be established in the work of our heads. And today I want to talk about one aspect that you know. So far, we've spoken about various aspects we have got to the favor. We've been speaking about how it sounds more on the positive note, like you know, the right people will like you, the right people will show interest towards you, You'll be at the right place at the right time, or you will see that God is orchestrating things in such a way that you know, you look back and you're like, oh my gosh, look at this.
Speaker 2: This is so good. You know, the right door open, the right person, step ten, you know all of those things because those are all elements of God's favor. But I also want you to remember that as much as these open doors and these good moments and the things that you actually love are part of God's favor, there's also the other side of God's favor, which includes closed doors and the wrong people working out of your life. Do you see, as much as I said the right people will like you, the people who are not ordained by God, no matter how much you try, no matter how much you want to convince them, they're never going to like you.
Speaker 2: They're always never going to you know, be there for you. You can go the extra mind uk and uh you know, like when I heard this phrase, right, you don't have to cross potions for someone who won't even cross a puddle for you, Like in a sense that you can do great things to try to prove to them. You convince them you can be good to them. You try to go the extra mind for them. But no matter what you do, some people are just not going to like you. Just they're just just not going to stand by you, support you.
Speaker 2: And you need to understand that's also part of God's favor because I'm not saying that person is bad. It could just mean that they're not good enough for your calling, you know what I mean. They're not They cannot take part in what God is leading or doing in your life. So you need to be able to come to terms with that, like, oh my gosh, this family member, no matter what I do, they're not able to accept my calling from God. Like that that is, that is something you need to come to a place where you realize, you know what, they're never going to accept.
Speaker 2: It's okay because I realized that as much as God's favor is going to cost the right people to like me, there's some people who are just not going to like it. Like I said that, you know, the favor is going to cause you to be at the right place at the right time. You know, understand, like, for example, if anything about Joseph, right, he imagine there was a moment when Rubin wanted to actually be good to Joseph, one of the brothers. But when he was not there, what happened. The rest of the brothers sold him as a slave.
Speaker 2: It felt like a bad moment, like if when had been there, Joseph could have been saved, you know what I mean, Like you could have been like this, this whole incident of him being sold as a slave, him going to Egypt and being a slave, none of them would have happened if Rubin had been there. Like It's like if Rubin was there and Joseph had been saved at that moment, you think about this, what would have happened? You can say, see, at the right time, at the right place, God kept Rubin to save Joseph.
Speaker 2: You would have said that, right. So as much as such good things, what you feel like is a good thing is also part of God's favor resting upon your life. Certain times. You need to understand Rubin not being there to rescue you is also part of God's favor. You know, God's plan involving his favor, so that that closed door is what is going on enable you to go to stepping into the fullness of the destiny that God has for you. So even when you think about, you know, Joseph going and interpreting the dream of the cop better right, it's like, wow, it's a favor fill moment.
Speaker 2: We would expect the Kapara to go and rescue Joseph immediately. But yes, the thing the Copeta forgetting Joseph for two whole years is also part of God's favor. You see closed doors, people walking out, people forgetting you, people not being there for you, things not working out the way you expect, is also as part of God's favor as much as the good times, like open doors, the right people stepping in, the right person stepping in, the right people showing interest towards you. I want you to understand that, you know, the scripture says it like it is right, like Romans eight twenty eight.
Speaker 2: In all things, we know that God will work do things together for good to them that will love the Lord and the call according to His purpose. So yes, the thing we know that everything which includes good things that you say, like open doors and you know, the right people coming in, as much as that is part of God's favor even the things that don't look good. You know, why did that door close? Why did the person kick you out? Why did that organization send you out? Why was that layoff happening? Or why did this person you know never show interest towards you.
Speaker 2: Why did this person walk out of your life? Why did this work out in your life? You may be wondering and crying today, but I want you to come to terms and be at peace knowing that the closed door, the wrong people leaving your life is as much as part of God's plan and favor as much as the good times or the good doors being opened, the right doors being opened, the right people stepping in. See. I just want to close with this example right like, and I was just thinking about where the Lord has been leading me.
Speaker 2: You know, I remember when one of the one of the things that was working out effectively in my life was you know, just in case you guys do not know if you're new to this, I worked at full them corporate job. I'm an aerospace engineer and around the ministry. One of the things that he was working out was my job. Okay, and at one point, due to this lass layoff season and all of that, I was in a place where I'm like, oh my gosh, what's happening. You know, why did this door close? Why didn't this work out?
Speaker 2: Like it was going so well?
Speaker 1: What happened?
Speaker 2: But you see, I kept asking the Lord, like, God, you know, where is your favor? Where is your favor? Because I wanted a favor of open doors, but here was a favor of closed doors. But it was hard to accept that. I stood my ground. I said, God, you know what, if you closed this door, the better door is coming. I know that this is part of your plan as much as the good times in terms of the right open doors. And I'm telling you that's the way God works. Even if a door closes, even if somebody walked out.
Speaker 2: Understand, that's part of us plan and his favor is resting upon you. That's why he allowed this door happened. And when the right door opens, the right person steps in, when the right opportunity comes your way, when the right position knocks you down. I want you to understand. You look back and say, wow, thank god the previous stow closed, Thank god Rubin was not there. Thank god the Competa forgot me for two years. Thank God for that closed store, or the disappointment, because that is what will prepare you to be in a position to receive the fullness of the destiny that God has in stuff for you.
Speaker 2: Amen, God bless you.
