0:54 we all want God to give us direction for our life. We want to

0:58 move in the area that God has for us. Maybe you want to make

1:02 a decision with regard to your personal life, your career, your ministry,

1:08 or your goals, your marriage, your relationships, anything under the sun,

1:14 in any area of where you're saying, I want God's guidance. I want

1:18 God to lead me. I want God to direct my steps. I want

1:22 God to tell me which is the right way that I need to go.

1:26 And we would allow for God to give us a to set of the plan.

1:29 We would love for God to tell us everything. But I was just

1:33 thinking about this. I want to start up by sharing our important words with

1:37 you, and then I want to give you an important anectoe to help you

1:40 understand this. It's found in Genesis twenty two. It's a moment when God

1:45 calls Abraham, and God is saying, Abraham, I want you to take

1:49 your son, your only son, Isaac, and I want you to offer

1:53 him as a sacrifice in the region of Moriah, in one of the mountains

2:00 that I will show you in the region of Moriah, and one of the

2:05 mountains I will show you this is Worse two of Genesis twenty two. Now

2:10 I wanted to understand God was giving him an assignment. God was giving him

2:15 an important task. And it is a very strenuous task. It's not easy

2:21 physically exhausting, it can be mentally draining, it can be emotionally like a

2:27 big package that he has to carry. It's not easy for anybody leave alone

2:31 Abraham, anybody for that matter, who was in this kind of a state

2:36 to go and sacrifice their only son, not knowing what's could happen. But

2:40 at such a point of time, God is saying, you know what,

2:45 how do you go to the region of Moriah. He's not even telling him

2:47 which mounted He's not telling him. You see, it's like God giving you

2:52 a direction, saying I wanted to climb one of the mountains in the Himalayas,

2:55 one of the mountains in the Alps, one of the mountains in any

3:00 other mountain, rains in the world. God is If God says like that,

3:04 you'll be like God, you know what, do you know how many

3:06 mountains are there? God, how you're already asking me to do something very

3:10 strenuous. You're asking me to do something very difficult. The least or the

3:17 most important thing you I wish you would do is tell me which mountain?

3:23 If you would just give me all the details right away, so then I

3:25 will know this is the place I need to go, so that I'm not

3:28 wandering just like that. And here is a classic movement when God is selling

3:32 Abraham go to the region of Morea, but God is not selling which mountain.

3:38 And I was wondering, why God is not give that detail? Why

3:42 can't you give the detail? Now? There are different aspects to this.

3:46 And then one of the things that I wanted to share today, there's different

3:49 things I've spoken about before, but I wanted to share about one important key

3:53 today why God is not giving all the details. And I was thinking that

3:58 when I need to, I will from a place A to go to a

4:01 destination B. What happens is like I put on Google Maps or I ask

4:06 somebody for direction, and if they tell me go straight, go take a

4:11 left and then the second right, and then you keep going straight and after

4:14 an intersection you have to keep heading on the road as it goes on the

4:18 right, and keep going as it diverges into a different section. And then

4:23 if they give all the direction details, what has going to happen is after

4:28 they finish giving you all the details, you're going to be confused. You're

4:31 not going to have the right mind to say, okay, fine, thank

4:36 you for the full direction. Right now, what do I do? You'll

4:39 start breaking your head, You'll start trying to remember what the person said.

4:43 So what we do is when you ask for direction, you say tell me

4:46 which region how to go to this region? Or you may say, okay,

4:51 I know to go to this region, so let me go to this

4:54 region. And after I go to that region, let me ask the specific

4:59 direction that I need to go what I mean. You if if I'm going

5:02 from a city, like in the city, if I'm going from a place

5:08 A to place B, right, I would say, Okay, how do

5:12 I go to this area? Let me get to that area first. Let

5:15 me get to that place first. Let me get to that region first.

5:18 After I get to that region, then I asked for direction, or then

5:24 I checked on Google Maps to see, Okay, now where do I go,

5:27 whether or go to the left or to the right. Because you know

5:30 what, if I start asking a to set of all the details on if

5:33 I get all the details, I'm going to be confused. If Abraham had

5:38 to be told by God, I want you to go to Mountain number three

5:41 hundred and eighty four in coordinate numblah blah blah blah blah blah. Just imagine.

5:45 Okay, just a funny case. But from the beginning he would be

5:48 like thinking, well, I need to go to coordinates. This is to

5:53 coordinate, this is the direction. Blah blah blah blah blah. He might

5:56 even forget it by the time he reaches He's pretty old already, right,

5:59 So you see the thing is this God gives us directions step by step.

6:05 He's not going to give you eight es it of all the details, and

6:09 sometimes it's good, and for the most part it's good because if he were

6:13 to give you all the details right in the beginning of the journey, you

6:16 will get confused, you will not understand, you will not remember, you

6:23 will forget. And that's why it's important to say, God, you know

6:27 what you tell me step by step, and so giving me a forty year

6:30 plan, give me the plan for the next forty minutes, I think that

6:34 will be a better choice, Like what do you want me to do now?

6:38 And see you see, I'm all in for a long term planning and

6:42 having a vision for our life and all of this stuff. Okay, I

6:45 have a vision for the ministry. I have a lot of plans, but

6:47 I'll tell you what as days go by. One thing I've learned and one

6:50 thing I can tell you is you can plan all you want, but it's

6:56 the Lord who has to make things happen, and he will make things happen

7:00 only at his time, and sometimes our plans just don't work because it's not

7:05 his timing, it's not his way. And so the best thing to do

7:09 is instead of saying, you know what, this is my adz planum.

7:13 This is how I'm going to strike to this level. I'm going to go

7:15 to this place. He is of doing that. Just say, God,

7:20 what do you want me to do? Now? Okay? God is saying,

7:25 okay, go to the region of Moraya, go to this place,

7:29 and then I'll tell you the next step. What should be done? If

7:31 I'm going from a city to another city, get to one point and then

7:36 ask, oh, what's this the next step to take? Even when you

7:41 look at for Samuel chap To sixteen, when God was giving the instruction to

7:45 profit Samuel to annoint the next king of Israel, what happens. He says,

7:49 go to the household of Jesse, where I'm going to annoint one of

7:54 the next Suns. He gives Jesse's name, he gives the region to go,

7:58 but he doesn't give him the son's name. But after he goes in

8:03 lines up the Suns. When he's about to make him, Aga intervene and

8:07 God, this is not the one. This is not the one. This

8:09 is the one. What I mean, that's the way God will lead.

8:13 He's not going to give you eight zid of the planet, but he will

8:16 lead you step by step by step and today, I pray that you will

8:22 have the constant fellowship with the Lord, communion with him. Where you are

8:26 saying, Okay, God, let me take the first step. This is

8:28 what you want me to do. Let me move towards the region of Mariah.

8:31 Let me move towards Jesse Sauce. Then when you get there, God

8:35 will give you the next direction. He will lead you step by step to

8:39 take you to where you need to go. Amen, God bless you.
