0:43 Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. In my previous episode, I was talking to you about how and why God speaks to us and leads us in guides us one step at a time because he doesn't want you to get confused. He doesn't want you to just mess up. He doesn't want you to be overwhelmed with so much of knowledge and information, or sometimes you tend to rely on yourself and your own intellectual ability instead of depending on God. So he leads us step by step, and he wants to guide us through every detail and every step along the way in line with the same I wanted to share something with you guys, and I want to take this forward.

1:27 And it is found in Luke nineteen, verse thirty. This is a word sort the passage that we often talk about in line with the Palm Sunday. But then I believe this is all interconnected because we've not been speaking in terms of the times. We've been speaking in terms of you know, the topics. And the Lord has been leading me to the right thing at the right time. And I'm so happy about this. I think this is so important because this is what happens. Luke chapter nineteen is talking about a time when Jesus speaks to his disciples.

1:59 Will let me start from verse twenty nine, and this is what it says. Has Jesus approached beth Phage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives. He sent two of his disciples saying to them, and verse study this is what is so important. I want you to pay attention. It says, go to the village ahead of you. This is an ivy version. Okay, go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there which no one has ever ridden, and tie and bring it here, go to the village ahead of you.

2:37 You see, these people have been walking Jesus and their disciples. And it's interesting that he says, go to the village ahead of you. And I think this is a word for a lot of us in our life. When we go through life, we keep thinking like, did I miss it? Did I miss my moment? We should I look back? We keep looking back at where we came from. Did I miss something? Did I miss an opportunity? Did I miss a God moment? Because you've been walking for a long time, You've been depending on God for a long time, but you have not heard him give you any explicit information, and you're wondering you did God tell me something?

3:16 And did I miss it? Maybe I need to go back to where I came from. Maybe I need to go back to the previous season of my life. Maybe I need to make some amends. Maybe I need to look back at the relationships that I just came from. Maybe I need to go back from the community that I came from. Maybe I need to go back to where I came from. And if you're in a place like that, I want you to hold your horses, because you see, it's a principle. The scripture says Jesus a go to the village ahead of you. You see, God knows wah how to guide you.

3:48 God knows how to lead you. You need to trust God in line with the same because you had to understand if he's saying, you know, go to the village ahead of you, which means like, listen to this. He didn't tell them in advance saying, you know, don't worry, guys, We're going to go to the next place and then I will tell you about the village. He didn't. He didn't give the information in advance, and he didn't talk about the cold in advance. At the same time, he was not saying, guys, you know, I forgot, you know, in the previous village that we passed by.

4:22 You know, we should have taken a cold from there. I think we missed it. You know. Jesus didn't do that. You know, he didn't forget, and he didn't say, you know, we should have gotten back to the previous village, or he didn't say, let's do a detour, you know, go on the side, go to the left, go to the right some of the village and bring a horror cold. He didn't do that. He said go to the village ahead of you. What I wanted to understand is God's plan for your life is always for you to move ahead, not to go back, not to go astray, wander here and there, wasting your time, your call over your life.

5:01 The assignment for you is for you to move ahead. If God wanted you to do something in the previous village, he would have given you the instruction in the previous village. The fact that Jesus spoke up at this point and said go to the village ahead of you and gave them an instruction for them to do it seems to me that you know, God is an on time God. I know these are principles that we all know in our everyday life. But it's good to remember, remind ourselves and be filled with these promises and say God, I believe.

5:34 Yes. I feel like I missed my moment. I feel like I messed up my opportunity. I feel like I missed my chance. But today I want to get back to that place where you say, God, I choose to trust and believe. If you wanted me to do something in the previous village, if you wanted me to do something in my previous appointment. If you wanted me to do something in my previous location or opportunity, or relationship or anything, you would have given me the instruction then. But I believe that when you walk in that close proximity with the Lord, these disciples are walking with Jesus.

6:12 When you walk with a close proximity with the Lord, he will tell you what he needs to tell you when he needs to tell you, not ahead of time and not later. He's not going to tell you. You know you should have done this last year. You know you missed this opportunity. You're doomed for life. You know. God is not going to do that. You know, he's a loving god. If he knows that something is going to mess your destiny, he's not going to sit there and be like, okay, fine, Oh my gosh, you're just making a poor choice.

6:41 No, no father is going to see their child, you know, running into danger and just sit and watch, Oh my gosh, my child is doing a terrible thing. Oh my goodness, my child is gonna die. They're not going to do that. No dad, no mom is even going to do that. What they're gonna do is they're gonna shout from the top of their voice. Hey, listen, you're going in the wrong direction. You're making a wrong choice. Come here, You're gonna get into trouble. So if an earthly Dad is going to do that, how much?

7:15 When you and I can trust are heavenly good, good Father, and He's going to lead us the way that he needs to lead us. He has the best plans for our life. You know, the scripture says that he will lead us through the best plan for our life, the best path for our life. And that's the assurance that you and I need to have today. That you know God's plan for your life is in front of you. His assignments are ahead of you. Stop wasting your time looking back, Stop wasting your time wandering here and there, because God's plan and his assignment is ahead of you.

9:21 And this is not a message of condemnation. This is a message of hope. There is a God who loves you so much he sent his only son, Jesus Christ to come down and pay a heavy price by shedding every drop of his blood on the cross. Thank you for dying for my sins. When you believe in Him, you have free gift or salvation for you that it shows us that we will go to heaven when we die instead of suffering in Him forever. I just encourage you today to make the simple step of faith and say, Jesus, I tell thank you for what you did on the cross.
