0:54 Speaker 2: to talk to you today about taking action towards your desires,

0:58 Speaker 2: I want to start with this scripture with you, and

1:00 Speaker 2: I want to explain this to you because a lot

1:03 Speaker 2: of people have this misunderstanding with regard to desires and

1:06 Speaker 2: the worse I want to talk to you from is

1:08 Speaker 2: Probabs thirteen, verse four, and this is what it says.

1:11 Speaker 2: I'm going to paraphrase from two different translations. It says

1:15 Speaker 2: lazy people want much but get little. This is from

1:19 Speaker 2: the NALTY version. Okay, but those who work hard will prosper.

1:23 Speaker 2: This is what the NALTY version says. When you look

1:26 Speaker 2: at the NIV version, it says a sluggard's appetite is

1:30 Speaker 2: never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.

1:37 Speaker 2: I want you to just understand something here, right. You

1:41 Speaker 2: may have desires from the Lord, and a lot of

1:43 Speaker 2: people are sitting there and just praying and hoping those

1:47 Speaker 2: desires will come to parts in their life. Okay, there

1:50 Speaker 2: are certain things that God has spoken over your life.

1:53 Speaker 2: There are certain things that God has shown you that

1:56 Speaker 2: you know are beyond the situation that you're in right now.

2:00 Speaker 2: That may be something that's far off, like simple example, right,

2:04 Speaker 2: it cannot practically happen right now. When you think about

2:08 Speaker 2: something that God has shown you that you know, you're

2:10 Speaker 2: going to have an international ministry. When God showed me

2:14 Speaker 2: that it's going to be an international ministry, I was

2:17 Speaker 2: still studying. I was not in a position to practically

2:22 Speaker 2: have a ministry. To start the ministry, I was pretty

2:27 Speaker 2: much young, and I was under my parent's care, and

2:30 Speaker 2: I had a lot of restrictions as a child. So

2:33 Speaker 2: even though I had that desire or that thing, there

2:37 Speaker 2: was always an element of the timing to it. Okay.

2:40 Speaker 2: But the truth of the matter is, when God gives

2:42 Speaker 2: the desire, you can't just sleep through and expect the

2:46 Speaker 2: desire to come to pass. You cannot just do nothing

2:49 Speaker 2: about it and expect to see something coming to fusion

2:52 Speaker 2: in your life. Okay. The Bible is very clear that,

2:55 Speaker 2: you know, if you're just lazy, if you're just being

2:59 Speaker 2: a sluggard, if you're a slacker. Another translation uses the

3:03 Speaker 2: word slacker. You know, if you're just being slack and

3:07 Speaker 2: you're just having all these desires, it has nothing, you know.

3:12 Speaker 2: The New King James version says the soul of a

3:14 Speaker 2: lazy man desires but has nothing. Right. You can have

3:19 Speaker 2: the desire, but if you're not taking steps towards it,

3:22 Speaker 2: if you're not going after the things that God is

3:24 Speaker 2: placed within you, you're not going to see the result.

3:28 Speaker 2: You need to move towards the promised land. The desires act,

3:31 Speaker 2: as you know, like guiding posts for you to move

3:34 Speaker 2: in that direction. But if you're just simply sitting and

3:37 Speaker 2: expecting that you would be able to go and walk

3:41 Speaker 2: in that promised land while you're simply sleeping in the

3:45 Speaker 2: place that you're in. You can't do that. You get

3:47 Speaker 2: what I'm saying. You need to take steps that are

3:50 Speaker 2: needed to be taken by you in that particular season

3:54 Speaker 2: of your life. Right, If I'm just saying I need

3:56 Speaker 2: to start, I have an international ministry. And when God

3:59 Speaker 2: led me and asked me to start the international ministry,

4:01 Speaker 2: and when I just sat at home and if I

4:04 Speaker 2: didn't take any step, I wouldn't be where I am today. Right,

4:08 Speaker 2: I need to take the steps that I can. I

4:11 Speaker 2: can't take an international step on day one, but I

4:15 Speaker 2: can start with the first step. You get what I'm saying.

4:18 Speaker 2: You know, that's what I'm trying to tell you. You

4:20 Speaker 2: know you need to work towards it in the way

4:23 Speaker 2: that you can at that season and the way God

4:26 Speaker 2: leads you in that moment. Just for example, there was

4:30 Speaker 2: this particular season or this particular thing where I had

4:33 Speaker 2: to pray and ask the Lord for a particular visa process.

4:39 Speaker 2: And for the whole of last year, just being honest

4:43 Speaker 2: with you, just being honest with you, I kept praying,

4:45 Speaker 2: you know, God, give me the right opportunity, the right move,

4:48 Speaker 2: and the right way so that I can you know,

4:50 Speaker 2: get into this, get get this visa you know available

4:54 Speaker 2: for me, and it will be really helpful and all

4:56 Speaker 2: of these things. And to be honest, I prayed of

5:00 Speaker 2: last year, but the desire was there, but there was

5:04 Speaker 2: no action. There were people saying, it's not going to happen.

5:08 Speaker 2: You don't have you know, the right, I mean, you

5:10 Speaker 2: have the odds against you. It's not gonna happen. It's

5:12 Speaker 2: not going to work hard. And I want to just

5:15 Speaker 2: let you and I know this and that you know,

5:17 Speaker 2: when twenty twenty five started off, one of the things

5:19 Speaker 2: the law told me is start working on the things

5:21 Speaker 2: that you never worked on last year. And I just

5:26 Speaker 2: took the step of faith and to be honest, like

5:30 Speaker 2: God has been so good. God has been so faithful

5:33 Speaker 2: that you know, it actually got done. You know what

5:38 Speaker 2: I want you to understand today I'm just recording this.

5:40 Speaker 2: I just got it done in a matter of just

5:44 Speaker 2: two months since this year, in less than two months

5:47 Speaker 2: since this year began. Okay, what I want you to

5:50 Speaker 2: understand is there was a lot of work involved. There

5:52 Speaker 2: were people saying, you know, you're wasting a lot of

5:54 Speaker 2: time and money in this process. It's not going to happen,

5:56 Speaker 2: and all of these things. But the truth of the

5:59 Speaker 2: matter is my desire in this direction that the Lord

6:02 Speaker 2: was leading me was there even last year, but then

6:08 Speaker 2: I didn't see it come to fusion because I didn't

6:11 Speaker 2: take any step. But the minute I had the desire

6:14 Speaker 2: and I took this step towards it, and you know,

6:17 Speaker 2: ended up being lazing around or just hoping and desiring

6:21 Speaker 2: it rather started working towards it, against the odds, against

6:26 Speaker 2: the opposition, against all the discouraging voices, against the fact that,

6:30 Speaker 2: you know what, I'm spending a lot of money, time,

6:32 Speaker 2: and all of these things into it. I really worked

6:35 Speaker 2: really hard in this process. But now I see, as

6:40 Speaker 2: the Bible says, but the desires of the legend are

6:42 Speaker 2: fully satisfied in the nality version, in the Navy version.

6:46 Speaker 2: And right now I'm like so amazed to see how

6:50 Speaker 2: God made this happen. You know what I'm saying. I'm

6:55 Speaker 2: not saying it's me alone, it is the Lord. It's

6:57 Speaker 2: me partnering with the Lord, and it's the Lord's hand

7:00 Speaker 2: and there's no doubt about it. But the desire, if

7:06 Speaker 2: you're not taking steps towards that desire in the way

7:08 Speaker 2: that you're supposed to take. You will not see the result.

7:12 Speaker 2: But today my challenge to you is that you know

7:15 Speaker 2: what every desire that God placed in you, every dream

7:19 Speaker 2: he placed in the visions he has shown you. Don't

7:22 Speaker 2: just put it off, you know, thinking like it it

7:26 Speaker 2: will anyway happen, even if it happens after fifty years. No,

7:30 Speaker 2: if there's something that you can do today that you're

7:33 Speaker 2: supposed to do, do it. You know, you do what

7:37 Speaker 2: you're supposed to do today, Do what the Lord is

7:40 Speaker 2: leading you to do. It can be something small, but

7:44 Speaker 2: God knows how to use that thing to be a

7:47 Speaker 2: greater blessing to multitudes. Ammen, God bless you.
