1:01 Speaker 2: is what it says. Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever

1:06 Speaker 2: gathers money little by little makes it grow. This is

1:09 Speaker 2: from the NIV version. When you look at the NLT version,

1:12 Speaker 2: it says wealth from get rich quick schemes quickly disappears.

1:16 Speaker 2: Wealth from hard work grows over time. I want you

1:19 Speaker 2: to understand today that you know, we live in a

1:21 Speaker 2: time and age where everybody wants instantaneous results, instantaneous growth,

1:25 Speaker 2: instantaneous fame, instantaneous money making schemes, and you know, there

1:29 Speaker 2: are so many things. Even the other day, I was

1:30 Speaker 2: talking to someone. He said, you know, I came across

1:33 Speaker 2: this feed on social media where they said, if you

1:36 Speaker 2: start a podcast in three months, you'll become a millionaire. John,

1:39 Speaker 2: You've been podcasting for a long time, and you know,

1:41 Speaker 2: are you doing the same. And then I said, listen,

1:44 Speaker 2: don't follow such get rich quick schemes, because, to be honest,

1:49 Speaker 2: I've seen people fall for this. I've seen a lot

1:51 Speaker 2: of people even in podcasting groups. I met with people

1:56 Speaker 2: where they say, you know, now, the reason I joined

1:58 Speaker 2: is because in three months I want a good watch,

2:00 Speaker 2: become a millionaire, and travel the world. And I was like, listen,

2:05 Speaker 2: this is something seriously wrong. A couple of years ago,

2:10 Speaker 2: I remember, especially during COVID, there were there were a

2:13 Speaker 2: lot of these advertisements on social media. I don't know

2:16 Speaker 2: if you've come across I'm sure you would have come

2:17 Speaker 2: across on social media, on uh on, on YouTube, you know,

2:22 Speaker 2: uh these uh source to speak you know speakers or

2:27 Speaker 2: motivation speakers or these passion uh prunners or whatever they

2:32 Speaker 2: call it. You know, I'm not saying everybody is evil,

2:34 Speaker 2: but I've seen a lot of people they follow these patterns.

2:37 Speaker 2: They say, you know, listen, I want you to listen

2:40 Speaker 2: to me. I have changed my life from this kind

2:43 Speaker 2: of a lifestyle where I was in this you know

2:46 Speaker 2: dungeon where I was living, or i was in this

2:50 Speaker 2: slum area, but now I'm living in this multi million

2:55 Speaker 2: million dollar home, or my life has changed completely. And

2:59 Speaker 2: if you follow and listen to what I've got to say,

3:02 Speaker 2: you know, in three months, I'm going to make you

3:03 Speaker 2: a millennire. You know, I've seen people do that. I've

3:06 Speaker 2: seen people fall for things like this. And there was

3:08 Speaker 2: a moment similar to this when I was in a

3:11 Speaker 2: place of desperation maybe I think in twenty nineteen, I

3:16 Speaker 2: ended up, you know, falling for something kind of similar

3:20 Speaker 2: but not exactly in terms of making money. But this

3:22 Speaker 2: is more about, you know, giving you opportunities to grow

3:25 Speaker 2: as a speaker. There was a you know, like something similar,

3:30 Speaker 2: you know, like making like you know, if you sign

3:32 Speaker 2: up right now, within the next ten minutes. This this

3:35 Speaker 2: course is going to change your life and things like that.

3:38 Speaker 2: And in that moment, I didn't know any better because

3:41 Speaker 2: I was in a place of desperation and and I

3:43 Speaker 2: felt for it and ended up with a lot of loss.

3:47 Speaker 2: Wented up with a lot of learnings through that program

3:51 Speaker 2: and things like that. Learnings in this sense, learnings not

3:53 Speaker 2: from the program. The program was like a piece of trash,

3:56 Speaker 2: but learnings in the mistake that I made right. See

4:00 Speaker 2: first thing I want to tell you, God will always

4:02 Speaker 2: use everything that he allows you to go through to

4:05 Speaker 2: teach you and help you grow. There is no doubt

4:08 Speaker 2: about it. But today I'm telling you don't fall for

4:11 Speaker 2: such things once you learn this is what it is.

4:13 Speaker 2: You know, after I went through that, I was able

4:15 Speaker 2: to guide so many people. I was able to want

4:17 Speaker 2: so many people who are going to fall into the

4:19 Speaker 2: similar trap. I went through another similar, kind of not similar.

4:25 Speaker 2: This was slightly different similar to what I'm saying. You know,

4:28 Speaker 2: this man who was preaching or not preaching, sorry, it's

4:30 Speaker 2: not a Christian thing. It was a motivational thing where

4:33 Speaker 2: he was saying, you know what, I changed people's life.

4:35 Speaker 2: My life was changed completely. But if you have to

4:37 Speaker 2: sign see the change. You need to sign up to

4:40 Speaker 2: my course. You know it is going to be available

4:43 Speaker 2: for you know, only limited time, but you need to

4:46 Speaker 2: sign up within three minutes. This is how they use

4:48 Speaker 2: all these marketing strategies which would word towards very similar

4:53 Speaker 2: to what happened. You know, like many of these people

4:56 Speaker 2: for do this, and so many people fall for it.

5:00 Speaker 2: I'm telling you so many people for fore it. And

5:01 Speaker 2: that's why the Bible says wealth from get rich quick

5:04 Speaker 2: quick schemes, you know, quickly disappears. And even in that,

5:08 Speaker 2: you know, like initially you may think like something is

5:11 Speaker 2: working and things like that, but you know what all

5:14 Speaker 2: of these schemes and when you see how these people

5:17 Speaker 2: do these dishonest way of you know, telling you stuff

5:21 Speaker 2: and promising you things, it will end up with you

5:24 Speaker 2: losing everything. You'll realize that even when you see sometimes

5:28 Speaker 2: you know, people suddenly they become successful overnight and you know,

5:32 Speaker 2: they try something and then it works, but then it

5:35 Speaker 2: is not giving them lasting results. I've seen so many people,

5:39 Speaker 2: you know, like they just follow some you know, stupid

5:42 Speaker 2: pattern and you know, in dishonest ways to make money.

5:46 Speaker 2: Of course I didn't go for those things. Just being clear.

5:48 Speaker 2: I just I want you to understand I didn't do that,

5:51 Speaker 2: but I've seen people do that and they they lose

5:55 Speaker 2: everything in a jiffy. Because you see, guys, I always

5:58 Speaker 2: say this. You know, your gift can take you to

6:00 Speaker 2: the throne, but only a character can help me keep

6:02 Speaker 2: the throne. In a similar ways, you know, when you

6:06 Speaker 2: find any way you can make the money, but if

6:09 Speaker 2: you are not making it with the help of God

6:14 Speaker 2: in the honest way, in the way it's supposed to

6:16 Speaker 2: be in, you know, with the purity of your heart,

6:19 Speaker 2: with the character that you need to have. If you're

6:21 Speaker 2: not doing that, it will just disappear. It will just

6:28 Speaker 2: you know, be out of you very quickly. That's why

6:32 Speaker 2: you need to be clear that you know wealth from

6:35 Speaker 2: hard work. I love how this Bible verse says, right,

6:39 Speaker 2: wealth from hard work grows over time. If you look

6:41 Speaker 2: at the NULTI version and in IV says whoever gathers

6:46 Speaker 2: money little by little makes it grow. You see, you

6:50 Speaker 2: know we need to have that patience today, challenge you

6:53 Speaker 2: to have patience with your finance. Now you're not going

6:56 Speaker 2: to see big results in day one, little by little girl.

7:00 Speaker 2: Oh no, to be honest, I have so much of

7:02 Speaker 2: expenses with the ministry, and I always tell people, you know,

7:05 Speaker 2: if you're led to support the ministry financially, please do help,

7:08 Speaker 2: because I'm spending a lot of money, like for the

7:12 Speaker 2: most part, my own money in doing whatever I'm doing.

7:15 Speaker 2: I'd spend so many thousands of dollars every year, right,

7:20 Speaker 2: Like you know, I spend so much in the ministry.

7:24 Speaker 2: And I want you to understand that I'm not doing

7:26 Speaker 2: this because I have a lot of money. So still,

7:30 Speaker 2: as an individual you know, who is surviving, I'm like,

7:33 Speaker 2: you know, I'm trying to make it grow a little

7:35 Speaker 2: by little, little by little on my own, right, so

7:39 Speaker 2: I'm not seeing instant inous results. And I challenge you

7:42 Speaker 2: today right that you know you will go to that

7:45 Speaker 2: place where even if you're not seeing financial stability and

7:47 Speaker 2: growth immediately, it's fine. Let it grow little by little,

7:52 Speaker 2: and that little by little, over time you will see

7:55 Speaker 2: the results that you're hoping for. And I pray for

7:57 Speaker 2: financial stability over it and every person and listening over

8:01 Speaker 2: this podcast, that they will see the wisdom from God

8:04 Speaker 2: to grow their finance little by little from working hard

8:09 Speaker 2: and seeing the result and glorifying God. And being a
