0:53 when we go through life, maybe you're in a workplace, maybe you're in

0:56 a school or college doing a course, or maybe you're just going through life.

1:00 Maybe you're just saying, Okay, this is what my life is at

1:04 this point of time, and you're just thinking, you know what better cut

1:07 your dreams, your career, your goals, your dream your passions, your

1:11 ministry, your calling, your purpose, or your business anything. You're just

1:15 saying, you know what, I'm just there, you know what I mean

1:19 that there are so many other clients out there. I'm just one among the

1:22 crowd, or you may be saying that there's so many other students in the

1:25 class, I'm just one of them in the class, or maybe in your

1:29 workplace, you're just one among the crowd. So everywhere with thin to think

1:33 that, you know what, there's nothing special about me. I'm just a

1:36 nobody. I'm just there. Okay, fine, I'm not a little sense

1:41 of nobody, but at least I'm there somewhere, you know, among the

1:44 crowd. But I can't outshine everyone else. There are people who are smarter

1:48 than me, more talented than me, more skillful than me, or they

1:52 seem to have everything together. And I'm not like that. I'm just there.

1:57 I'm just there. You may feel like I want to talk to you

2:00 today from Daniel chapter six, and I want to share a very powerful word

2:06 from verse three, and I'm looking at it from different translations to give you

2:09 a brief idea. This is a moment when this heathen king called Darius,

2:14 he's reorganizing his kingdom and he is setting up or appointing new governors to govern

2:21 different regions, and one of them that he is appointing is Daniel. Right,

2:28 there were over three vice regions. One of whom was Daniel right?

2:35 And the governors reported to the vice regents, who made sure everything was in

2:40 order for the king. And I'm reading from the message version first, and

2:44 then I will show you from other translations as well. But this is what

2:47 it says. But Daniel, brimming with spirit and intelligence, so completely outclassed

2:54 the other vice regions and governors that the King decided to put Daniel in charge

3:00 of the whole kingdom. Okay, I want you to understand something here.

3:06 First of all, you may be saying, John, I didn't choose to

3:08 be when I am. Okay, I have a different region of calling or

3:14 a different area where I know that that's my area of purpose. I know

3:17 that I'm gifted in something else. But I'm forced to be here. I'm

3:23 forced to do this course, I'm forced to work in this kind of an

3:25 environment, in this company. I don't want to be here. It is

3:29 not by my choice I'm here, but I don't have any other choice.

3:31 And that's how I'm here. So I'll just make it through this place.

3:35 I'll just somehow crawl through or just somehow manage or make it through. But

3:39 I want to tell you something. Daniel was not here by his choice.

3:44 You may be feeling like, you know what, I don't need to do

3:47 my best. I don't need to you know, have the spirit of excellence

3:51 because I didn't choose to be here. Okay, I was forced to be

3:57 here. Maybe you didn't choose that course, your family choice or your parents

4:01 forced you into that course, or maybe you didn't choose that job, but

4:04 no other job open for you, so you have to be here till you

4:08 get another opportunity. So you're saying, John, I'm just forced to be

4:13 here. It's not my choice. So let me just as long as I

4:15 can manage. Let me just manage, make it through. But here you

4:18 see this, Daniel also did not come here by choice. He was taken

4:26 as a captive. Remember, if you go back a couple of chapters,

4:30 you'll understand how you know, Daniel and all the others were taken as captives,

4:33 and that's how they are here. They didn't come here by their own

4:36 choice, and life just happened. But in spite of the fact that they

4:42 didn't come here by their own choice, God enabled them to outclass everybody else.

4:46 What I want you guys to understand today is, even if you didn't

4:49 choose that course, Even if you didn't choose that job, even if you

4:53 didn't come to where you are right now in your life, you may feel

4:57 like, oh, John, you know what I calling is in a different

4:59 area. My gifting is in a different area. When I'm stuck here,

5:01 I'm not able to make a move, I feel like I'm stagnant here.

5:04 I want to tell you something here. If God has brought you here,

5:08 if God has kept you here, it means God wants to help you outclass

5:13 other people. When you look at different translations of the same verse, I

5:18 wanted to just hold on because I want to share from my life. Also

5:23 in regard to this, but if you look at the Nalty version of the

5:28 same verse, it says Daniel soon proved himself more capable than all the other

5:34 administrators and high officers. Right he soon proved himself. It means that when

5:40 he started, it seems like he was just one among the crowd. But

5:43 soon he was able to prove himself highly and more capable than anyone else.

5:48 He outclassed everyone else. What I want you to understand is, right now,

5:53 it seems like you're just one among the crowd. Right now, it

5:55 seems like you're just one of the students in the class. Maybe you're not

5:59 even average, you're below average, or maybe you're saying the John. You

6:02 know what, even in my workplace, I'm not the most performing or the

6:08 best performing, you know, employee. I'm just just getting my job done.

6:13 I'm just someone making it through. But I want you to understand that

6:16 just same way you didn't choose, Daniel also didn't choose, but still he

6:25 was able to shine. He was able to outclass everyone else. He was

6:30 able to prove himself more capable than everyone else. Because that's what the hand

6:34 of God can do. That's what the power of God can do. That's

6:39 what the favor of God can do. It can help you stand out.

6:43 It can help you do something far exceeding other people, and people will notice

6:50 that. You know. I'll just share this with you guys, and from

6:56 my life, I know that my ultimate call is inn aareive ministry. You

7:00 know, that's my heart, that's my vision. I want to go around

7:03 minister the gospel to people. But you know, because of what life has

7:09 been going happening for me, and you know how, you know, the

7:14 leading of God. Of course, back then, I didn't understand it was

7:17 the leading of God. I didn't understand a lot of things. I was

7:20 like, oh, my goodness, maybe I should be in full time ministry

7:24 right away. But you know, just that life has made sure that I'm

7:30 working. You guys know I've worked in a full time job. But you

7:33 know, in the in the past, I always thought, you know,

7:38 I'm not performing well. I'm not able to, you know, be my

7:40 best because I didn't choose to be there. I didn't want to be there.

7:44 I know that's not my area of gifting, and I could not be

7:46 my best, you know what I mean. But eventually the Lord showed me

7:50 through the scriptures. You know, even when you look at Daniel's life as

7:56 well as Joseph's life, Joseph did not choose to be there, but he

8:01 was put there. He was put in charge in part of his house,

8:05 he was put in charge in the prison, you know, and he was

8:09 able to sustain. He didn't choose that, but it just happened, and

8:13 he was able to sustain and do really well. And you see Daniel at

8:18 the same time, he was able to stand out from everybody else that the

8:24 King wanted to make him in charge of everything in the kingdom, just like

8:28 the Pharaoh put Joseph in charge for everything in the kingdom. Can you think

8:35 about it, guys, are you able to understand what I'm saying? That's

8:37 the way you know what the Lord showed me was you see. You know,

8:41 once you understand that, you know God can help you shine. God

8:48 will really help you shine. That's how the Lord changed my perspective. And

8:52 I'm telling you honestly, things have changed so much for the better. The

8:58 minute my perspective changed, the minute my attitude changed, the Lord changed me

9:03 from the inside out, and I'm able to see a difference. That's what

9:07 God wants to do in and through your life, and that's what He will

9:11 do through you. And today I want to lead this over you. Guys

9:16 that you know you may feel like I'm just average, I'm just weak.

9:18 But you and God together you're able to excel because you are connected with the

9:24 infinite source of wisdom. You're connected with a God who is all omniscient,

9:31 omnipotent, and omni temporal God. He was beyond everything and he knows everything.

9:41 And today I want you to get to that place where you say God

9:46 instead of giving excuses on why I can't be my best. Instead of laying

9:50 out my excuses on why I can't do my best, why I should just

9:56 settle for you know, just just go through life helping you to the place

10:00 where I trust you, depend on you, look up to you and receive

10:05 your strength, your wisdom, your favor, your mercy, to be like

10:09 Daniel and outclass everybody else, outshine for the glory of God. Amen,
