1:12 Speaker 2: look at this, because the angels are giving him a warning,

1:21 Speaker 2: and rushes to tell his daughter's fiancees, they don't take

1:24 Speaker 2: it seriously. They think it's just joking. In verse fourteen

1:31 Speaker 2: angels became insistent. Hurry, they said, take your wife and

1:35 Speaker 2: your two daughters who are here, and get out now,

1:38 Speaker 2: or you'll be swept away in the destruction. Look at this,

1:42 Speaker 2: the words that were saying dawn, like early in the morning,

1:45 Speaker 2: by dawn, I want you to hurry up. Get up, guys,

1:50 Speaker 2: get up, keep going, keep going. There's destruction happening. Look

1:55 Speaker 2: at verse sixteen when Lord still hesitated. Look at this.

1:59 Speaker 2: I was just talking to you about about law that

2:02 Speaker 2: even in the midst of being in the place of wickedness,

2:05 Speaker 2: he still had an element of spiritual discernment that you

2:09 Speaker 2: know what I know, this is something serious. That's why

2:13 Speaker 2: he rushed when the word was spoken. He acted with urgency.

2:17 Speaker 2: He had that discernment, but still he wavered a bit.

2:20 Speaker 2: He hesitated. See, sometimes I wanted to understand. We think that, oh,

2:24 Speaker 2: if you hesitate, if you waver. That means you're not

2:27 Speaker 2: walking by faith. No, that is human. Sometimes we can hesitate.

2:31 Speaker 2: We can't be like, oh, shoot, I shouldn't have done this,

2:34 Speaker 2: I shouldn't have done done like. Sometimes we can be

2:36 Speaker 2: like that. But can I tell you something that's part

2:39 Speaker 2: of human thing? And that is where we have to

2:42 Speaker 2: be grateful for God's Christ, because the Bible says when

2:45 Speaker 2: he hesitated, the angels didn't leave him and say, hey,

2:50 Speaker 2: are playing the fool over a year. They could have

2:52 Speaker 2: just walked away, but that's not what they did. Look

3:06 Speaker 2: safety outside the city. For the Lord was merciful. See,

3:11 Speaker 2: even when you hesitate, even when you waiver, even when

3:15 Speaker 2: you are not up getting ready to jump into the

3:18 Speaker 2: deep end of the pool, when God is calling you,

3:20 Speaker 2: the Lord will be merciful enough to say, I know

3:24 Speaker 2: this place is going to destroy you. I'm taking you out,

3:28 Speaker 2: even when you esedate. I've been talking quite a bit

3:31 Speaker 2: about my layoff that happened last year, because this is

3:35 Speaker 2: exactly a week, exactly the same week last year when

3:38 Speaker 2: this happened. So it was something I was thinking about,

3:42 Speaker 2: how the emotions, the feelings and everything where I'm going

3:45 Speaker 2: to talk about these things because I believe it will

3:47 Speaker 2: really help you relate with what I'm sharing, because I

3:49 Speaker 2: don't want to share something from a pulpit that you

3:52 Speaker 2: may not be able to connect. So what happened was

3:55 Speaker 2: when God had clearly shown me through a vision two

3:57 Speaker 2: and a half weeks before that, you know what I'm

3:59 Speaker 2: going to say, be asked to leave the company, and

4:01 Speaker 2: I didn't pay attention or I didn't pray, I didn't

4:04 Speaker 2: take it seriously. I was more like lots fiances, I mean, sorry,

4:08 Speaker 2: lots daughters fiances than being like a lot who took

4:13 Speaker 2: this word seriously. And I wanted to understand. In the

4:17 Speaker 2: midst of that, I hesitated. But when God knew that

4:22 Speaker 2: that place would become a very bad place, it wouldn't

4:27 Speaker 2: be good enough for me, he seized me out or

4:30 Speaker 2: he threw me. He allowed me to go through that layoff,

4:34 Speaker 2: you know what I mean, because later on I came

4:36 Speaker 2: to know how the toxicity and you know, the the

4:40 Speaker 2: entire culture of the organization became very bad after I left.

4:45 Speaker 2: I'm not kidding. I'm not making this. It's not just

4:47 Speaker 2: saying this to make myself feel good, but it was real.

4:50 Speaker 2: So many times. The people who were left behind, you know,

4:54 Speaker 2: left behind, they said, John, I know it's hard for

4:57 Speaker 2: you out because you were out of the organization waiting

5:00 Speaker 2: for another org. But trust me, you are in a

5:04 Speaker 2: better place than what it is right now on the inside.

5:07 Speaker 2: You know, God knew what God protected me from by

5:11 Speaker 2: taking me out even when I hesitated, you know, he

5:14 Speaker 2: seized me out like you know, he's in a sense,

5:17 Speaker 2: like how the angel sees his hand and took him out,

5:22 Speaker 2: took his daughters out, took his wife out. And because

5:28 Speaker 2: the Lord was merciful, I'm sure it would have been painful.

5:31 Speaker 2: They would have felt like, what is this. You know,

5:34 Speaker 2: it looks so foolish. I'm leaving behind everything. I'm living behind,

5:39 Speaker 2: my house, my utensils, my everything, you know, my possessions.

5:45 Speaker 2: But I want you to understand something there right, long

5:48 Speaker 2: story made shot. They are actually going to the next village.

5:52 Speaker 2: And then when you look at verse twenty three, it

5:55 Speaker 2: says Lord reached a village just as the sun was

5:59 Speaker 2: rising over the horizon, and then you know, the fire

6:05 Speaker 2: and burning sulfur from the sky fell on Sodom and

6:10 Speaker 2: Gomora and were destroyed. Okay, now I wanted to pay

6:13 Speaker 2: attention to this, right this this drama began by dawn,

6:20 Speaker 2: but only as the sun was rising over the horizon,

6:24 Speaker 2: the Sodom and Gomara were destroyed, Which means that for

6:28 Speaker 2: a period of roughly let's say one enough to do ours,

6:32 Speaker 2: everything look normal. For one enough to do us, it

6:35 Speaker 2: looked like they were crazy for just running leaving behind everything.

6:40 Speaker 2: Imagine the story or the drama that was happening in

6:44 Speaker 2: Sodom with the daughter's fiancees all wondering why did this

6:49 Speaker 2: crazy man take his wife and just run away, take

6:52 Speaker 2: my future spouses and run away, like you know. Can

6:56 Speaker 2: you imagine the drama that would have happen in Sodom

6:58 Speaker 2: where everyone's like, what happened? Who are those two guests

7:02 Speaker 2: who came? Why did they convince them to run away?

7:05 Speaker 2: Imagine the two the fiancees are telling, you know, yesterday

7:10 Speaker 2: they told that this place is going to be destroyed,

7:13 Speaker 2: and then they could have made a mockery like yeah, yeah, destroyed.

7:17 Speaker 2: What is happening? Everything looks the same? You know, life

7:19 Speaker 2: would have been just normal for those one and a

7:22 Speaker 2: half to us, everything looked normal. It would have looked

7:25 Speaker 2: like Lord was a fool. It would have looked like

7:27 Speaker 2: this family was a fool. They could have even made mockery.

7:32 Speaker 2: You don't worry. Very soon they'll come back. They'll know

7:34 Speaker 2: that it was all just some you know, like it's

7:38 Speaker 2: a delusion or whatever, and they're going to come back.

7:40 Speaker 2: They would have mocked, Say can I tell you something?

7:44 Speaker 2: For that one and a half to do us, everything

7:46 Speaker 2: looked normal, But suddenly the word of the Lord came

7:52 Speaker 2: exactly as he had spoken, It happened, and the place

7:55 Speaker 2: was destroyed. What is my word to you? When God

7:59 Speaker 2: gives you word and when you're acting on it, it

8:06 Speaker 2: you're being crazy. It will look like it doesn't make sense.

8:16 Speaker 2: Everything looks fine? What are you saying? It's similar to

8:22 Speaker 2: Where is there something called rainier. But can I tell

8:27 Speaker 2: you something? Everything will look normal till the moment it

8:34 Speaker 2: suddenly changes. That's why you need to act on what

8:38 Speaker 2: God is asking you to do. Don't worry about what

8:41 Speaker 2: people say. People can tell you a hundred things. People

8:44 Speaker 2: can be against you. People can mock you for your

8:46 Speaker 2: fake People can speak against you, people can ridicule you

8:51 Speaker 2: and mock you. Can I tell you something? How many

8:52 Speaker 2: times I have experienced this in my life, you know,

8:55 Speaker 2: for stepping into my colleague, stepping into saying, you know what,

8:58 Speaker 2: this is what the Lord is saying, how God is leading.

9:01 Speaker 2: This is the vision the Lord showed. People laugh, people mocked.

9:04 Speaker 2: But you know what. I'm not saying this to post,

9:07 Speaker 2: but every single time God showed and I acted in

9:11 Speaker 2: the accordance to what God showed. When I walked in

9:13 Speaker 2: obedience to his word, what happened was exactly how God showed.

9:19 Speaker 2: It happened exactly when God showed this is how it's

9:24 Speaker 2: going to be. So act in accordance to it. People

9:27 Speaker 2: were laughing and mocking, or are you saying it's not

9:29 Speaker 2: going to happen? But exactly so, this is the word

9:32 Speaker 2: I want to share with you guys, even though everything

9:36 Speaker 2: looked normal for Lot and the family for the first

9:38 Speaker 2: one and after two hours when they were running, it

9:41 Speaker 2: looked like they were the fools. But then the word

9:45 Speaker 2: of the Lord still prevailed. So that's why I'm telling you,

9:49 Speaker 2: even if you look like a fool, even if you

9:51 Speaker 2: look like crazy in the sight of the world, it's okay.

9:55 Speaker 2: Keep going. God will show himself up and God will

9:58 Speaker 2: prove his word all your life. Really challenge you to
