record holder, aerospace engineer, life coach, evangelist, and founder of John
Gifta International. Welcome to Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta. As we're
doing the CDs where we're talking about the various aspects in finding knowing God's will
for a life, today I'm going to talk about another important aspect that you
need to take into consideration when you want to know what is God's will in
and through your life, and that is the aspect of a sense of peace,
a sense of inner peace that comes when you know that you are where
God wants you to be. Now, I want you to understand that you
know when I say peace, I'm not talking about an outside piece. I'm
not talking about a piece that everything is fine on the outside, and you
know, you know that this is what is God's will. I'm not saying
that because I want you to understand when you say yes to God's will,
plan and purpose, the enemy is not going to throw in a red carpet
for you to go and fulfill your destiny. The enemy will throw in some
challenges. The enemy will throw in some unrest and a lot of things that
can cause you then to give up, or cause you to be discouraged,
or cause you to not fulfill God's call and plan and will and purpose over
your life. But at the same time, you have to understand that you
will have a piece a sense of a knowing that, yes, this is
a piece that I can't explain, this piece surpast all understanding, but even
though it doesn't make sense in the logical senses, or it doesn't make sense
in the natural, but I know, without a shadow of a doubt,
I have some element of peace about this. So through that you can know
that this is actually from the Lord and he's asking you to do it.
I want to quickly jump in and share a scripture with you, and then
I want to take it forward. And it's found in Colosions three verse fifteen.
Now I'm going to talk about this aspect of peace even in the area
of decision making. That's a different topic that I will be covering in the
future, but right now, I want to just stick to the point on
the aspect of being in goswell or knowing god'swell for your life and Colosions three
fifteen. And I'm reading from the amplified version, the classic amplified version.
If I'm not wrong, it goes on to say, and let the piece
soul harmony, which comes from Christ rule, act as empire continually, an
umpire continually in your hearts. Remember it's not saying let the piece be around
your circumstances, let there be peace all around you. No, no,
no, no no. This piece is going to be in your hearts.
If you read the different translations, that's so exactly what it says. A
piece that rules your heart, a piece that's within you. It's it's in
you. It's an inner element of peace. But that in an element of
peace, the Bible says. The reason I chose the this version is because
it uses the word an umpire. An umpire is the one who makes decisions,
an empire if you see the different translations. They also go on to
say how this piece should be the guiding decision making factor, the one that
controls you or in terms of making decisions or in terms of your life.
But today I want you to understand today that one of the keys to know
that if you're in the will of God, or if a decision is as
for His will or not, is to see whether you have this inner piece
or not. Introspect yourself and see do you have that inner piece? Now,
as I've shared with you that even in and through my life, like
there were so many moments in my life when I have so much of confusion,
like what if I were in a different place, or what if I
did something different? What if you know, I took a particular step and
Okay, let me just come down and explain this to you, Like you
know, I work and I'm running the ministry, right, so there were
so many times I had this confusion. Maybe am I disobeying God and doing
this? Maybe I should be full fledged in the ministry, but I'm not
able to see a way. I'm not getting the support. I'm not able
to see God open doors for me to do that, you know, and
There were different people who gave me different opinions. Some I said, you
know, maybe you should have the boldness to, you know, step out
and you know, just do the ministry. But I don't have any connection,
I don't have any resource, I don't have the finance, I don't
have anything. How would I do it? Or or or in the other
aside, there were people who said, no, no, no, you
got her. You know. Just what I'm saying to say is different people
give different opinions, and by the end of the day, I was confused.
I was not sure. Some people said, you know, you have
to have the courage to step out into the ministry. Or some people said,
no, it's it's wisdom when you you know, set yourself and be
established, and then you know, God will make the promission. If God
provides you, then you you you step into it, you know. So
different people had different opinions, and I was confused. And when every time
I was feeling like, oh my goodness, am I in the wrong place.
Maybe I should have quit this job and try something else. Or I
could have done this, or I should have done that. At some place
in my spirit every time I prayed about it, every time, even though
on the outside there was so much a fun rest even though on the outside
I was I was being treated very badly, even in that particular workplace,
or even on the outside, things were so bad in so many different ways.
You know, people won't know all that because on social media we always
portray you know, the best of us, right, we don't know what's
going on. On the inside. Things were so bad, and there were
people who gave me, you know, sermons on you know, you should
do that and do this and things like that. But to be honest,
I had the peace that I couldn't explain, like you are you need to
be you know, you get what I'm saying. I couldn't understand it because
things were not the way I wanted. But then a sense of peace that
even though you don't feel the circumstance to be feaceful, you have that piece
that this is where God wants you, This is his plan for your life
for the season. That is a piece you cannot explain to people. Even
though this this scenario was not the way I wanted, this is not what
my family wanted, is not what anybody would want. But I had that
feeling of an inner peace, you know, that this was directed by God,
even in the place where I didn't feel like it. You get what
I'm saying. I knew this was temporary. I knew this is not where
I was always going to be. I knew my season was changing. But
at the same time, I knew that this was directed by God. And
that is the way I want you to be led by the peace that comes
only from the Lord. You know, I'm not saying that peace be the
only factor, but this is also a factor. You have to remember.
When it is from the Lord, you will have that particular piece that you
can't explain. Otherwise, you can have the best decision that you want to
make, or an opportunity that comes your way. But if you do not
have the piece, don't go for it, because that piece surpasses all understanding.
And I'm telling you food sure that you know people can be good,
they may be having good intentions, but by the end of the day,
you know that that piece that comes comes only from the Lord. And you
know, okay, I know I want to change. I knew that that
was a temporary fee is a phase or season of my life. I knew
all of that, But for that moment, there are other options that were
in front of me. I didn't have the piece, no matter what.
I didn't have opportunities, I didn't have a way, and I didn't have
the piece. You know, I'll tell you this and close. You know,
in that particular place where I was working prior to where I'm currently working,
So what what what used to happen was? You know, I used
to get underpaid, but I used to be squeezed and work. Lord Lord,
I never got the benefit of a doubt, always being suppressed, always
never appreciate it for all the work I put and all these things were happening.
But you know, people used to say, why aren't you quit thing?
Why aren't you leaving? Because I didn't have the peace to quit at
that point. But at the right time, God made the transition in and
through my life. So that's what I wanted to understand, that even things
can be very bad. You know, some people just oh, this job
is bad immediately quid or this person is bad immediately, you know, break
up out something like that, right, you know, people just make decisions
based on like a temporary thing. But for me, in that very place,
which you know, was not good, not the best, I was
being underpaid and all these things were happening. I didn't quit for I worked
for five and half years in that organization. Now I didn't quit. Why
Why why do I do that? Because you know what, as long as
you have the peace of God, unless God leads you to the next step.
In fact, when I had to leave that organization, I was led
by the Lord. I got visions of the Lord showing me that I'm going
to leave the organization and things like that. So what I'm trying to say
is, no matter how bad things were, I stuck to it because I
was allowing the peace of God, that in the peace of God to lead
me and guide me. I didn't want to make any hasty decision, but
I allowed him to make the decision in the correct way and the fashion.
And when he told or showed me in the visions, and then I left
our organization, stepped into a new Wench organization and all of that. You
know, you get what I'm saying. Every decision was divinely orchestrated by the
Lord. Amen. So today I just wanted to drop by and encourage you
to introspect. Do you have that inner peace in the decision or in the
direction that you feel is what God's will for your life is. If so,
go ahead, I'm sure that it will definitely make it an impact.
It will make sense for you when it's all said and done. I'll see
