Finding GOD's Will Sermon Series Part 15 - A Sense of Inner Knowing | John Giftah | Christian Sermon

discussing about the various aspects of knowing and finding Gods for our life today,

I want to talk about another important aspect on how to make a decision or

to how to know that this could be an area or this could be something

that could align with what God has in store for you and for me as

well. And that is the sense of knowing like you can't explain to people

but you you can't reason it out, you can't have any kind of justification,

but somewhere, somehow you just have a deep sense of knowing. You

just have the sense of um like stirring in you, or a nudge that

says, you know what, this is something from God, This is what

is God's well, this is the direction God wants me today. You don't

have all the you know, the explanation. If you put it on paper,

it does not make any sense. You cannot convince anybody about it.

But somehow you have so convinced about it. That is another thing you need

to remember about finding or going towards the direction that God wants you to go,

or maybe the element of God's will for your life. See, when

you think about Abraham, we always look at him and say, wow,

he's the father of faith. He has so much of faith, no doubt

about it. That he's the thing I want you to understand. Abraham did

not come from a lineage of people of faith. In fact, if you

look at his family, they were actually the moon worshippers. They were not

even worshiping the true Living God. So when God called Abraham, it's not

because he grew up hearing God's voice, or it's not because he grew up

you know, learning about God. It's not because he grew up in a

family that honored the Lord he grew up in a family did not even worship

the True Living God. He didn't have the experience, He didn't have any

of the connection. He didn't have anything to do with the True Living God

when God called him in Genesis Dwell, then that makes us to ask this

question, how did Abraham know when God called him in Genesis? Well?

How did Abraham know without the shadow of a doubt that this was God?

How did he know that this was God? I am not a deception.

How did he know this was God? Am not just his mind? How

did he know it was God, the true Living God, and not the

Moon God or some deity that he worshiped. How did he know? Because

unless he was a hundred percent sure or he was convinced about it, I'm

sure he was not a fool to leave everything and just blindly follow this God.

See, the Bible does not ask you to have blind faith. The

Bible wants you to have faith on God. You have to get that right.

It's not about just blind faith. Why have faith so God will honor?

No? No, no, no, no, you have to have

that faith on God. God didn't honor Ibraham because he had some blind faith.

God honored him because he obeyed and put his faith upon the True Living

God. So how did he know that it was the true Living God when

he was actually from a family that never knew the True Living God. Have

you thought about it? Yes? The thing, when God calls you,

you will just know and you know and you know, and you know without

a shadow of a doubt that it is God. When God calls you,

you have to remember that he will convince you. Sometimes that convincing may take

time, because if you're like Moses, who is giving out all reasons and

saying, you know what, God finds somebody else. You know what,

God, I don't have what it takes. You know what, God,

I have all these weaknesses. You know what God, and give all your

reasons and excuses. But by the end of the day, when it is

from God, when God calls you, he knows how to convince you.

He convinced Moses. Or if you're running away from God like Jonah, when

he knew without a shinn of a doubt, when God said I want you

to go to nin away, he ran in the opposite direction, he ran

from God's call. But you know what, when God calls you, it's

like a string that will just bring you back. Even if you run on

the opposite side. You can't explain it to everybody. People can come and

give you all the logical reasons why you seemed to be making a mistake.

See, ever since I was young, even when I never knew about you

know, God so much when I was young. Um, you know,

I do know many of the things. I'll be honest when I was when

I was a kid, I mean, I'll be honest in saying this to

you. I just read the Bible for the sake of reading. Never had

any interest it was things of God. Much later when the Lord opened my

spiritualize and Pastor Benny hints crusade. Till then I was least interested in the

things of God. But even in that juncture, much of what I'm doing

today we're all already like imprinted in me. I'll be honest in saying this.

See, sometimes when people see me do certain things right like today,

Wow, John, you know your podcast or television or all these things.

People you know, like, wow, you're getting this opportunity or that opportunity.

This is happening, that is happening. But to be honest, when

I go through these moments, I feel like, hey, I already saw

this coming. I already knew this. But when I was young, when

I said, people thought I was crazy. People thought I was stupid.

When I said, I know what, I'm going to do something good with

Scooby Doo, people thought I lost my mind. But now when they see

that I got a world record from a Scooby Doo member of Billy Another Endeavors,

They're like, oh my goodness, John, what's going on. When

I started the ministry or back in the day, and I said, you

know what, I don't know. I can't explain to people when I know

without a shadow of a doubt God called me to start the John Give to

international ministries, people thought I lost my mind. People I'm talking about Christians

who said I have a psychological problem or psychiatric problem. They said that cannot

happen. Give me proof, gave me some logical reasons why I should believe

that you know gospel to you, I didn't have anything, but I was

just convinced. How I was convinced even till that, I don't know.

But when it is God, I want you to understand, when it is

his will, he knows how to convince you. When it is God.

He knows how to convince you. And when he convinces you, he will

convince you, not everybody around you, not your whole family, or not

your whole friend circle or your own church. Yeah, I've shard this before

as well. In one of my recent episodes, I said this, how

when you talk about zero bubble, right, the word of the Lord was

given and said, you know what, for zero bubble, the mountain will

become a mole hill. It uses the word for zero bubble, the mountain

will become a mole hill. And I said this, The mountain did not

become a mole hill for everybody. The Bible doesn't say the mountain just became

a mole hill. The Bible says, for Zerubable, the mountain became a

mole hill. That means for other people that mountain was still a mountain.

For when other people looked at it, it was still a mountain. But

for him the mountain became a mole hill. So what you have to understand

is for other people, you may look like you're a stupid, stupid to

believe in this unknown God. Just when everybody else is just worshiping the moon.

God gave me some explanation. I want some logical reason for this.

You can't do that, because when God calls you, when you are that

zerubable for you, you will know and you know and you know and you

know that there is God that this is for you. For other people they

can't understand it. For other people, it will look like you're stupid.

So that's the important thing. I want to share him. Like I said,

like Abraham, even before he was, you know, like honoring God

and obeying God, he was, he was, he was outside God's covenant.

He was, he was a moon worshiper. But still when God called

him, he knew it was God. Likewise, in my life there were

things, for example, there were really good opportunities that came along my way,

and in the natural it looks or killed in some people think I may

I might have done something stupid in letting go of those opportunities, because I

don't have any proof on the outside or logical explanation on the outside for me

to convince them to say, no, I know what I did was right.

I can't, but I know, and I know, and I know,

and I know without the shadow of doubt what I did was right.

So today follow the knowing. Follow that that that that aspect where God convinces

you to knowing this is will for you, and stick to that all right

in this juncture, there are things you need to be precautious, and that

is about the time when we have to bring in the aspect of the Holy

Spirit and hearing the voice of God and all of that. But before I

jump into that, I will be covering the aspect of science and things like
