0:48 Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John gift of podcast. And as you might have seen that, we are doing a series on finding clarity in life. Just started out initially, we started with a segment where Senstor Michael and I were talking to you about, you know, a brief manner of looking at getting clarity in life. And since yesterday I've been talking about various aspects and going a little deeper to remind you to get into your spirit that you and I need to get to that place where we are walking in clarity because one of the things that a lot of people are dealing with is the aspect of John.

1:27 Speaker 2: You know what, I'm not able to get clarity in life? What am I supposed to do? How do I take the right step? What is the right thing that God wants me to do? How do I discern God's will? See? The thing is this, you know. One of the aspects I spoke to you yesterday, which I believe is such a foundation, is that you need to get to a place where you get your relationship with God to a four place where you can hear God for yourself, because that is the key. Because a lot of times we say, you know, hearing God comes later in the picture.

1:57 Speaker 2: But I believe that if you can put God in the beginning, When you can put hearing God in the beginning, when you are making sure that your a first step that you take is to get to that place where you can hear the voice of God. I'm going to talk more about it in the days to come, But if you can get to that place where you hear the voice of God with more clarity in your life, I believe that everything else will automatically take the right place. So my challenge to each one of you another the sound of my voice is get to that place where you are intentional and saying God, I want to hear your voice.

2:27 Speaker 2: Not just spending time with God in the sense of just reading the Bible and praying, but being intentional about receiving the word from the Lord, Therama word from God, that's spoken word from God, revelations from God, encountering God and receiving her word from the Lord in the sense of hearing his voice in your spirit. Now today I want to talk about one important aspect with regard to getting clarity, where a lot of people say, you know what, I do not know where God wants me to go. I do know.

2:54 Speaker 2: I mean, can I tell you something? I know? There is a sense or there is a place where God gives us clarity in terms of you know, visions or dreams that got placed and said, you know, this is where you're going to see yourself or maybe you know, you know you see yourself like how Joseph and he was a young boy, he saw he saw himself in a place of leadership. He saw, you know, like there's something big in front of him. Even though he was coming from a limited environment he saw something, you know, like maybe when I look at myself.

3:24 Speaker 2: You know, I always saw myself somewhere out there, you know, on media, ministering, traveling, and preaching, and you know, I saw this ever since I was young, seeing myself, you know, on media and creative spaces, ever since I was young. Nobody forced myself to do it. But this was something that was in me, even though on the outside it looked like I was not anywhere near it. You get what I'm saying. So God gives you clarity in the sense of something like a vague vision or a dream that He placed in you, like he gave the dreams to Joseph.

3:58 Speaker 2: He gives you that The step to take starts from you taking one step at a time. God is not going to give you direction, like you know what I want you to go from, you know, like instance, for instance, right you're going from one city to another city. If you're taking the help of Google Maps or GPS, what happens, It's not going to tell you. You know what, Let me give you all the steps from here to that location. You know, Take this left and then take this right, Take this left, take this right, go straight for a mile, and then take this, you turn.

4:35 Speaker 2: You know, it's not going to do that. What is going to do? It's going to say, let's start here, let's keep going. When I need to tell you something, I'm going to tell you that you get what I'm saying. The Bible says in Proverbs three, verse six, we all love this verse, and most of us would have memorized this verse ever since we were young. It is acknowledge God in all your ways, and He will direct your steps right. And the Bible also says in Psalms under the nineteen one not five, that divert is a lamp unto my feet and a light onto my path.

5:08 Speaker 2: The word of God is not like the sun lighting up the whole space. It's like a lamp which will give you light to your feet and a light unto your path. It's not going to give you the full clarity. God is not going to give you everything in a single goal, because he wants you to depend on him every step along the way. Now, for instance, you know, if I were to call in a few children and say, hey, you know what, I'm going to take you to us what nice place? Come with me? You know through the entire trip they're going to be like, hey, you know what, where are we going?

5:44 Speaker 2: I'm excited? Where are you taking me? You know, they've got to be in constant fellowship with me. And then if I go and finally take them to maybe a place they love, maybe an amusement park, they're going to be like, oh my gosh, this is so good. I didn't expect this. This is awesome. And then they're going to be so excited. But if I were to tell them right in the beginning, you know what, I'm going to take you through this amusement park. I want you to just be prepped for it. You know what, They're not going to talk to me thuring the ride.

6:13 Speaker 2: They're going to be so excited. They're going to really like, you know what, I'm going to go on this ride. I'm going to do this today. I'm going to try out this particular you know ride which my parents do not allow me to drive when I was younger. So they're going to be so caught up or you know, only about the destination that they're not going to be focused on spending time with me, fellowshiping with me, or talking to me. See, that's the same principle the reason why God doesn't give us all the details.

6:42 Speaker 2: Is because He wants to us to be dependent on him every step along the way. You know, He's going to lead us step by step by step. Today, I want you to understand that God may not have given you the full picture, but he has given you something to get started. I want you to start with what He has given you. Get started like GPS. You start, Okay, I need to take a step here, I need to go straight over here, I need to take a left over here. Start and God will fill you up. The Bible says in Isaiah fifty eight eleven, the Lord will guide you always.

7:20 Speaker 2: In other words, I want you to understand that He's a God who guides you, like how you have these guide posts or when you're traveling, what happens there is or all of these posts billboards or not billboards, I'm sorry, it's guidepost which tells you, you know, to this location, you need to turn to left or turn to the right, or you know this many miles to the next destination or to this particular location. So all of those things. So God is like that, He's going to guide you when he needs to guide you.

7:53 Speaker 2: He may not necessarily give you all the details right up front, but he trusts that you can take a step right now with the information he's given you, and as you keep going, He's going to fill you up with what he needs to tell you. And I just want to close with one more important thing that I think, you know you really need to hear, is that you know, God is a faithful God, He's a loving father. He just wants you to trust him that if He has given you some information, he expects of you to work on that information.

8:27 Speaker 2: So when I started the ministry, you know, today we have the podcast in this format reaching you know, thousands or millions of people. Eventually, you know, through different platforms, I'm reaching millions of people, and I'm grateful to God for all of that. But here's the thing, right, here's the thing, here's the thing I want you to understand. You know, it all started with me starting with what God gave me, or what here information he gave me, was to just try sending voice notes on WhatsApp.

8:58 Speaker 2: That's how I started industry, way back over thirteen years ago, just voice notes. People laughed and mocked even I was like, what kind of an idea of this is? In fact, I never knew there was something called podcast. I didn't know somebody would even value what I was doing. But one led to another, one led to another, and here we are. So that's what I want to challenge each one of us that you know, we start a little by little, trusting Him every step along the way, and He will definitely lead us through.
