0:45 Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta podcast. All through this week we're looking at various aspects with regard to the Word of God. Right this is not a series on how to feed on God's Word. That's a different thing I want to talk about maybe in a different series altogether, but right now I want you to understand there are certain benefits or there's certain things that you need to remember on why the word is important. And one of the things I wanted to understand is that the word is what will she will give you that healing and wholeness that you require.

1:16 Speaker 2: Okay, when you look at some one not seven verse twenty, it says that he sent his word and healed and he delivered. I want you to get this word. He sent this word and healed and delivered. See. I want you to understand there's different ways God heals. God is almighty, how powerful he uses different means. Sometimes he heals with his power, He heals through people, he heals through and a supernatural experience. I've experienced so many kinds of healings in my life. I will share when the opportunity arises.

1:53 Speaker 2: But there is a thing that happened just today as I'm recording whenever's just preparing for the day and all of that, there was such a big battle happening in my mind. My mind was so clouded and I just could not think. I could not do anything. I want you to understand. I work in a full time corporate job. I'm an aerospace engineer. I work and I run the ministry. Everything is overwhelming in its own way, right. People often ask me, how do you manage a full time corporate job and the ministry and you're doing this every day Daily podcast daily YouTube, daily socials, daily shots and reels, the ministry, traveling and preaching and all of these different things.

2:38 Speaker 2: How do you do It's you know, it's not easy, right, Like as much as people loud to see the fancy stuff, they see the numbers and all of that on socials, but they don't realize it's not easy as you do it every single day and you also face these kind of attacks by the enemy. And it was tremendous, like I hadn't slept the old night and there was the constant attack after an attack over my mind. I'm not able to think, I'm not able to work, I'm not able to process anything. I'm not able to like it was so foggy in my mind and I was like, God, I'm speaking in tongues right now, I'm not able to see the deliverance.

3:14 Speaker 2: I'm trying to.

3:17 Speaker 1: Pray.

3:18 Speaker 2: I'm not able to pray. My mind is not coming to terms, like it's just it's so foggy. It was just not working on And you know what I did, I said, Holy Spirit, you take control, and immediately I felt the Lord saying go read Psalms thirty four. I don't know what it was about at that moment, Like I said, it was so clouded, I didn't know what was there. Started reading Psalms thirty four. It was just a simple psalm. It was not something like God coming and delivering in a direct sense, but it was some filled with scriptures like I cried unto the Lord, He delivered me.

3:52 Speaker 2: I sought the Lord. He heard me, he answered me, He delivered me from all his troubles. The righteous cried to the Lord, and the Lord delivered him from all the stormers. So this entire Psalms over and over about deliberance, and you know how God answers the prayers, and you won't believe. As I was reading, the word was not directly helping me because I was not able to even think. I was not able to even articulate what I was reading. But as I was reading, suddenly through that I was delivered. Suddenly the take fog in my mind just left me.

4:29 Speaker 2: I was healed mentally while I was reading the word, even though the word did not make sense to me while I was reading it at that moment. See, this is an example I want to share with you guys, because this is so fresh, because I'm glad this happened this today, because that's how I'm able to share this with you guys, a fresh testimony, a fresh revelation to share that. See, when you are in a position where you're saying, you know what, I tried therapy, it's not working. I tried talking to people, it's not working.

4:58 Speaker 2: I tried these medicines, they're not working. I tried taking these courses, they're not working. Maybe all of that, you know, you see, sometimes God can use all of that. But the truth on the matter is, if they're not working, why didn't you try the Word of God? Because when you read the Word, when you feed on the Word, when you are allowing the Word to work through you, sometimes you may not even understand the word. You may not even be able to articulate what you're reading. But when you force feed the word, what happens is as the word comes in the schemes of the enemy, I have to leave.

5:32 Speaker 2: That is what is the supernatural element of God's word. That is what sets the Word of God different from any other book out there. You can see my book over here. I allow my book because I wrote it. Okay, I've written four books till day. And you know, yes, the thing I love my book. But I can tell you that my book can help people, no doubt about it. But it cannot deliver people like the way the Word of God can tell you. No book can do that because no book is supernatural like the Word of God. That's what I want you to understand.

6:08 Speaker 2: No book, no video, no sermon, no preacher, nothing is as powerful as the Word of God that is available to you. So if nothing else is working, force feed on the word. See for example, you may feel like, oh, I don't feel like reading the word. Can I tell you something. When a kid is saying, oh, I don't want I'm not well, I don't want this medicine. It tastes hopeful. You will you say, oh you don't want the medicine. Okay, fine, you won't say that, right, you force feed the medicine. I have a pet dog at home, right, I consider her as my little sister.

6:48 Speaker 2: The thing is this, when she needs to take any medicines, she's not going to allow us to give her medicines. No matter what you do, she's not gonna allow. So we have to. You know, literally, my mom would take her. One of us would open our mouth and then put the medicine in and then close the mouth to make sure that she doesn't dug you know, like split the medicine out. You know what I mean, the force feed that medicine. Because we know how important that medicine is for a ped doggie. Then how much more you and I need to force feed the Word of God because the Word of God is the medicine for us.

7:29 Speaker 2: The Word of God is what will sustain us. That's another sermon I'll talk about later. But the Word of God is what would bring healing and wholeness, restoration and deliverance. Maybe you need a breakthrough in your mind, a breakthrough in your heart, a breakthrough in your physical body, a breakthrough in your finance, a breakthrough in your relationships, a breakthrough in your career, a breakthrough in your ministry. You may be saying I need it, bradly. Maybe you're trying everything. You're trying all the strategies people shay, They are trying every kind of prayer walks that people are saying, try this, trite that, try this, moved, try this, this work for somebody else.

8:07 Speaker 2: But I'm challenging you to try the word, because when you allow the Word to be the one that is the medicine in your life. You know what happens. You'll see that healing, and you will see the deliverance, and you will see that wholeness. The same God who healed me will heal you. Because he is an awesome God all my day and I'm a powerful and that he's not a respector of persons. I really challenge you to share this with someone who needs to reheard. This reminder and if you are someone who needs a healing or a wholeness over your body, in the name of Jesus, I speak healing.

8:45 Speaker 2: Lord. Your word says in Exodus fifteen twenty six that I am the God who heals, and the scripture that he sent this word and he healed them. I want to speak this word that you will heal those who are watching listening, they will experience healing the same God Lord who healed my mind this morning as I was preparing this. The Lord will heal your mind. The Lord will heal your heart. The Lord will heal your body and any other area of your life and bring fullness to you.
