0:02 Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, well John, thank you so much for having me. It is a beyond massive honor for me. And praise God for everything He's done in you and your wife and your ministry and just you being obedient to that call, your blessing to so many people. And that's what are called to do, be a light in a world full of darkness. So thank you for your obedience to that lie. And I'm so excited to be here, so honored.

0:24 Speaker 1: Awesome, that's so great, glad that you're here as well. And guys, if you didn't know that, she's a seven time author and she's a bestseller of multiple books, and she's also a great social media influencer and God is using her as a great vessel for such a time as this, And I'm so glad that you accepted the call of God. And you know, as a time when people say, hey, it's my life, I want to do what I want to do, who are you to tell me? You know, you chose to go with the way of the Lord. So what is your message to all the young folks today who say, you know what, I've got one life, I want to do.

0:58 Speaker 1: What I want to do. You know, what is your message for them to say, Hey, you know what, why don't you live that life with Jesus?

1:05 Speaker 2: Amen so beautifully? What a beautiful question. Honestly, it's like I think this concept that you know, yolo, like you only live once, that's not true when you believe in Jesus. Like when you believe in Jesus, this is where we are, but this is not our home. Our home is with Jesus in heaven. And I think that you know, from a young age, for me, it wasn't even I think sometimes even us Christians, we look at following Jesus almost as this massive cost for our life, right, like it means we can't do this, and we can't do that.

1:37 Speaker 2: I want to throw to a preacher said, and I so believe that. Like God's favorite word is yes, and I think sometimes we think his favorite word is nope. Can't do that, can't do that. But the reason is favorite word is yes, which leads to having to say no to some things in our life, is because He loves us too much for us to live in bondage here. The Lord's Prayer says, on earth as it is in heaven. I mean he wants us to bring Heaven down to earth, and so for me, like I do have this one life here on earth, but I don't have one life.

2:07 Speaker 2: I'm designed to live with my heavenly father in high places. And you know, John, I think from a young age and you probably relate to this. I think everyone does. You know that feeling of just where do I belong? Where do I fit? Sometimes? You know you think you're especially even in the church. It's like I'm too worldly to be churchy. I'm too churchy to be worldly, Like where do I fit? Well? I think that feeling is our very evidence for ourselves. We do belong somewhere else, which is heaven. And so when you know that, and when you feel that, you look to the one who reigns over heaven.

2:41 Speaker 2: And so whatever he says is good for you to do, which includes saying no sometimes and going through trials and going through tests. You desire him more than you desire the need to control your situation in wanting to live this like who cares? I only live once? Kind of life?

3:00 Speaker 1: That's so true, that's so true. I was also reminded of how the scripture says, right, it's no longer High that live it, but Christ who lives in me. It's it's not our life. Like when people say it's my life, dude, you know, like it's not. For the grace of God. You know, it's not your life as well
