0:19 Speaker 2: obedience to that lie. And I'm so excited to be here,

0:27 Speaker 1: And guys, if you didn't know that, she's a seven

0:30 Speaker 1: time author and she's a bestseller of multiple books, and

0:34 Speaker 1: she's also a great social media influencer and God is

0:37 Speaker 1: using her as a great vessel for such a time

0:40 Speaker 1: as this, And I'm so glad that you accepted the

0:44 Speaker 1: call of God. And you know, as a time when

0:46 Speaker 1: people say, hey, it's my life, I want to do

0:48 Speaker 1: what I want to do, who are you to tell me?

0:50 Speaker 1: You know, you chose to go with the way of

0:52 Speaker 1: the Lord. So what is your message to all the

0:54 Speaker 1: young folks today who say, you know what, I've got

0:57 Speaker 1: one life, I want to do. What I want to do.

1:00 Speaker 1: You know, what is your message for them to say, Hey,

1:02 Speaker 1: you know what, why don't you live that life with Jesus?

1:05 Speaker 2: Amen so beautifully? What a beautiful question. Honestly, it's like

1:09 Speaker 2: I think this concept that you know, yolo, like you

1:13 Speaker 2: only live once, that's not true when you believe in Jesus.

1:17 Speaker 2: Like when you believe in Jesus, this is where we are,

1:20 Speaker 2: but this is not our home. Our home is with

1:22 Speaker 2: Jesus in heaven. And I think that you know, from

1:25 Speaker 2: a young age, for me, it wasn't even I think

1:28 Speaker 2: sometimes even us Christians, we look at following Jesus almost

1:32 Speaker 2: as this massive cost for our life, right, like it

1:35 Speaker 2: means we can't do this, and we can't do that.

1:37 Speaker 2: I want to throw to a preacher said, and I

1:38 Speaker 2: so believe that. Like God's favorite word is yes, and

1:42 Speaker 2: I think sometimes we think his favorite word is nope.

1:44 Speaker 2: Can't do that, can't do that. But the reason is

1:47 Speaker 2: favorite word is yes, which leads to having to say

1:50 Speaker 2: no to some things in our life, is because He

1:52 Speaker 2: loves us too much for us to live in bondage here.

1:55 Speaker 2: The Lord's Prayer says, on earth as it is in heaven.

1:58 Speaker 2: I mean he wants us to bring Heaven down to earth,

2:01 Speaker 2: and so for me, like I do have this one

2:03 Speaker 2: life here on earth, but I don't have one life.

2:07 Speaker 2: I'm designed to live with my heavenly father in high places.

2:11 Speaker 2: And you know, John, I think from a young age

2:14 Speaker 2: and you probably relate to this. I think everyone does.

2:17 Speaker 2: You know that feeling of just where do I belong?

2:20 Speaker 2: Where do I fit? Sometimes? You know you think you're

2:23 Speaker 2: especially even in the church. It's like I'm too worldly

2:25 Speaker 2: to be churchy. I'm too churchy to be worldly, Like

2:28 Speaker 2: where do I fit? Well? I think that feeling is

2:31 Speaker 2: our very evidence for ourselves. We do belong somewhere else,

2:35 Speaker 2: which is heaven. And so when you know that, and

2:37 Speaker 2: when you feel that, you look to the one who

2:39 Speaker 2: reigns over heaven. And so whatever he says is good

2:43 Speaker 2: for you to do, which includes saying no sometimes and

2:47 Speaker 2: going through trials and going through tests. You desire him

2:51 Speaker 2: more than you desire the need to control your situation

2:55 Speaker 2: in wanting to live this like who cares? I only

2:58 Speaker 2: live once? Kind of life?

3:00 Speaker 1: That's so true, that's so true. I was also reminded

3:03 Speaker 1: of how the scripture says, right, it's no longer High

3:05 Speaker 1: that live it, but Christ who lives in me. It's

3:08 Speaker 1: it's not our life. Like when people say it's my life, dude,

3:11 Speaker 1: you know, like it's not. For the grace of God.
