0:49 Speaker 2: Are you in a place in your live where you're just crying and disappointed and hurt because people just left you. Especially when you start something, there are people cheering you, encouraging you, but the minute you hit a storm or a problem, they are just nowhere. I want to encourage you today. Don't be disappointed, don't be hurt. See when you think about Mark chapter four, I'm actually reading from the Nalty version and from verse thirty five. As evening came, Jesus said to the disciples, let's cross to the other side of the lake.

1:18 Speaker 2: So they took Jesus in the boat and started out. But I love what the Bible says, especially in the Nalty version. This is mentioned in brackets. It says other boats followed also, and then verse thirty seven says, but as soon a fierce storm came up, high waves came in and started filling the boat with water. Verse thirty six inns by saying there were other boats that followed also, And verse thirty seven it talks about the storm. And I was reading through how Jesus comes to storm, and they go to the other side and all of and then they have encountered the man in the jarasonist and then they come back, and you don't hear anything else about the other boats.

2:00 Speaker 2: You see here other boats also came tull a point. But the minute you hear about the storm, you don't hear about other boats. See, some people will come to you only as long as everything is fine in your life. They may start the journey with you, But the minute you hit a storm in life, they may not be there. See when you think about the story of Ruth, Naomi and Ruth's assistant in law. If you see this story, they started the journey as three people, but by the time they reached Bethlehem, it was only Ruth and Naomi.

2:29 Speaker 2: See, you may start with more people. There may be people in your life right now, but I want you to understand, don't put your basis on people and get disappointed because people are people and they are bound to disappoint you. So don't be disappointed by people. Let them go, let them leave. Only when you let go of the wrong people at the right appointed time, the right people will step into your life. So don't be emotionally attached to the point where you're so hurt and disappointed when people hurt you.

2:59 Speaker 2: Get to the place where you build that boundary and build that emotional you know wall around you so that you know that anybody can hurt you because they're human beings. And just say, God, as long as they live in my life, I am grateful. And when they leave, let them go. God. Those who are hurt right now, as they're listening, I pray that this word will encourage them to not be disappointed with people, but to look up to you and get this strength from you. In Jesus name.
