0:45 Speaker 2: Hey God, Michelle sach A joy for me to be with you on this segment of the Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta podcast. As we are stepping into the week just before Pentecost Sunday, I just want to take this week to talk about the importance of the Holy Spirit and various topics related to the Holy Spirit. First and foremost thing I want you to understand is that sometimes in some of the denominations and some of the church traditions and backgrounds, sometimes the Holy Spirit is just limited to just textbook knowledge.

1:14 Speaker 2: You know what, I mean like, Okay, the Spirit did this, or we need to be led by the Holy Spirit. They have the theretical knowledge. But I wanted to understand. The Holy Spirit is not just an emotion. The Holy Spirit is not just a feeling. This Holy Spirit is not a thing. The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is as much as real as God the Father and God the Son Jesus Christ. So you need to understand that the Holy Spirit is not something like you know, oh, it was just fabricated.

1:45 Speaker 2: It's just in the charismatic circles. No, the Scripture tells us over and over again about the reality of who the Holy Spirit is. So if you really want to live the victorious Christian life, if you want to fulfill the purpose that God has for you, so you cannot neglect the Holy Spirit. You cannot throw away the Holy Spirit and say, you know what, I just want to go into textbook knowledge of Scripture. I just want to go into this mode of tradition and culture and practices of the church and neglect and overlook the Holy Spirit.

2:18 Speaker 2: So I want you to understand today who is the Holy Spirit in your life? See first and foremost, let me tell you that the Holy Spirit existed right from the beginning. If you see, even in Genesis it talks about how the Spirit of God was moving on the face of the earth. So you have to understand it's not that the Holy Spirit came in only in the New Testament. No, the Holy Spirit has been from the beginning. So like you have got the Father, God, the Son, and the God the Holy Spirit, all the three of them have been together in unison right from the very beginning.

2:54 Speaker 2: All right, yes, sir, an example to help you understand the trinity. Okay, so when you talk about the sun or you talk about a candle, right, the sun is existing and from the sun you have heat and you have light. You take a candle, you have the candle in existence. You have heat, and you have the light. All the three co exist. All the three are individual elements, but coexisting. You can't have heat without the light. You can't have light without the candle. You get what I'm saying. On the similar note, you have to understand the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have always moved in unison, all right.

3:37 Speaker 2: And the benefit that you and I have as believers after the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Is that Jesus said in John fourteen sixteen, He said, when I leave, it's a good thing for you, because I'm going to leave or give you the gift of the Holy Spirit, who will be your helper, your advocate, your counselor You have to understand the word help in the original Hebrew. If you see is the word heser is like, for example, you're not trying to figure life on your own. You don't have to figure life on your own.

4:09 Speaker 2: The Holy Spirit is the helper. He's going to come out and say, listen, this is a better way to go about this. This is the right way to live a Christian, victorious life that you're supposed to live. This is the right way to go about in the way that you will be able to fulfill your purpose and the Holy Spirit will help you. My question to you is, when the Holy Spirit is available, why don't you make use? Why are you ignorant of him? Why are you not paying attention to him? Let this be a wake up call for you this week as we remember the Holy Spirit through the Pentecost Sunday.

4:46 Speaker 2: Let this not just be a topic for you to discuss or think about, but let the Holy Spirit become a reality over your life, so that you know, you come to that place where you're saying, Holy Spirit, I know you're real. Help me to understand, and you in a real deep fashion start developing your walk with the Holy Spirit. Now you may say, John, you know what I thought, I just have to have my relationship with Jesus. Listen to this Cathley. A lot of times we understand as kids, especially when you are younger or a baby Christian, we say prayer or salvation, Jesus come into my heart.

5:19 Speaker 2: You understand something. It's not Jesus who comes into your heart when you give your life to Christ. It's not Jesus who comes into your life. In fact, it is the Holy Spirit, because Jesus is seated on the right hand side of the Father, and that Holy Spirit is in you. The Bible says in Romans eight eleven that the same spirit that raised Christ from the day it lives in you when you are born again Bible believing, mountain moving, devil chasing, tongue speaking Christian. Today, my challenge is that you walk in that awareness of who's living in you and start developing that relationship with the Police Spirit.

5:58 Speaker 2: When you wake up in the mom and say good morning, Holy Spirit. When you are going down the road, driving or you're going for a walk, start speaking with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, where do you want me to go? What do you want me to do? What do you want me to speak to this person? Start developing that relationship with the Holy Spirit. And the more you start walking in that awareness of who the Holy Spirit is, that's how your life will make a difference. Because I want you to understand. For you to live the Christian life that God intended, you cannot do it by yourself by textbook knowledge alone.

6:36 Speaker 2: You need the Holy Spirit. And today let this be a wake up call from this day onwards that you will always walk in awareness of the Holy Spirit and start moving in the leading of the Holy Spirit.
