1:15 Speaker 2: is great. It happened in the Bible times the apostles

1:18 Speaker 2: were moving in power. But the truth of the matter is,

1:21 Speaker 2: many people today are not moving in the same kind

1:24 Speaker 2: of a power. It's very sad to see many Christians

1:27 Speaker 2: living a powerless or defeated life, and then they're wondering

1:31 Speaker 2: why they're not able to be great witnesses for Christ.

1:34 Speaker 2: I wanted to understand something very very important here today.

1:36 Speaker 2: Right when you look at the Bible, in Acts ten,

1:39 Speaker 2: verse thirty eight, this is what it says that Jesus

1:43 Speaker 2: of Nazis was anointed by the Holy Spirit. He was

1:50 Speaker 2: anointed by the Holy Spirit and power, and he went

1:54 Speaker 2: around doing good and healing all those who are under

1:57 Speaker 2: the power of the devil. Now think about this, Jesus,

2:01 Speaker 2: the son of the Living God, when he walked on

2:04 Speaker 2: earth as a man, he had to be anointed by

2:06 Speaker 2: the power of the Holy Spirit. If Jesus needed the

2:09 Speaker 2: Holy Spirit, how much more you and I need the

2:12 Speaker 2: power of the Holy Spirit. See, I want you to

2:15 Speaker 2: understand when you look at scriptures like Romans eight, vers eleven.

2:18 Speaker 2: I love this because it says that the same spirit

2:21 Speaker 2: that raised Christ from the dead lives on the inside

2:24 Speaker 2: of you and me. I wanted to understand the magnitude

2:27 Speaker 2: of the power that's available. If you look at the

2:29 Speaker 2: Greek word of the power. When you see in the

2:32 Speaker 2: scripture right, especially in the New Testament, the word for

2:35 Speaker 2: power is like the Greek word from which you get

2:37 Speaker 2: the word dynamite. That is the kind of a power,

2:40 Speaker 2: great power. Even if you look at the Acts four,

2:45 Speaker 2: verse thirty three, he talks about how the Apostles operated

2:50 Speaker 2: with great power and great grace was upon them today.

2:54 Speaker 2: I wanted to understand if you really want to be

2:56 Speaker 2: effective like the Apostles, if you really want to make

3:00 Speaker 2: great difference in and through your life, you cannot do

3:02 Speaker 2: that by textbook knowledge. You cannot do that by just

3:05 Speaker 2: you quoting scriptures, memorizing all of that is great, there's

3:08 Speaker 2: a place for all of that. You cannot do that

3:10 Speaker 2: by just doing good works, which is also good. You

3:13 Speaker 2: cannot do that by just influence or mere knowledge. You

3:17 Speaker 2: need the power of the Holy Spirit. See that's why

3:20 Speaker 2: the apostle Paul said, I don't just come by just

3:24 Speaker 2: fancy words. I come with power. My question is are

3:27 Speaker 2: you operating in that power? Because only then you will

3:32 Speaker 2: actually be more effective when you operate with the power

3:35 Speaker 2: of the Holy Spirit, you will be able to see

3:37 Speaker 2: the gifts of the Spirit coming through in and through

3:40 Speaker 2: your life. And I'm telling you how many times have

3:42 Speaker 2: been able to testify about the goodness of God, testify

3:46 Speaker 2: about the reality of our God through these miracles or

3:50 Speaker 2: through the gifts of the Spirit being manifested or operating

3:55 Speaker 2: through my life. So if you throw away all of

3:59 Speaker 2: that and expect to be a witness for Christ, it's

4:01 Speaker 2: not going to happen. That's why the Bible says and

4:05 Speaker 2: Acts one was eight. The Lord was saying it so clearly.

4:09 Speaker 2: Jesus said, you know what, Wait because you will receive

4:13 Speaker 2: power when the Holy Spirit comes, and then you will

4:17 Speaker 2: be my witnesses. When Jesus walked on earth, he received

4:22 Speaker 2: the power of the Holy Spirit. He was filled with

4:24 Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit. Then he was able to do good works.

4:28 Speaker 2: Then he was able to hear. Jesus walked on earth

4:32 Speaker 2: as a man like you and me, and he needed

4:35 Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit. How much more you and I need

4:38 Speaker 2: to depend on the Holy Spirit. How much more you

4:41 Speaker 2: and I need to operate knowing that you know what,

4:43 Speaker 2: I'm not living life on my own terms. I need

4:47 Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit. I need the power of the Holy Spirit.

4:50 Speaker 2: I need to move in that, and then you will

4:53 Speaker 2: see the leading of the Holy Spirit. See sometimes I

4:57 Speaker 2: want to understand when we go back to book knowledge,

5:01 Speaker 2: we can just assume you know what I need to

5:02 Speaker 2: do this, I need to do that. But only when

5:05 Speaker 2: you are led by the Holy Spirit, when you are

5:08 Speaker 2: moving in that accordance of how the Holy Spirit wants

5:11 Speaker 2: you to go, you will be more effective than you

5:16 Speaker 2: doing things on your own by theoretical knowledge. I want

5:19 Speaker 2: you to understand some of these terminologies. I may be

5:22 Speaker 2: repeating the next couple of days and even yesterday, but

5:25 Speaker 2: I want you to get this because I want this

5:27 Speaker 2: to become your reality, so that you understand what you carry,

5:32 Speaker 2: you understand who you carry, and you operate in awareness

5:37 Speaker 2: of that, and then you will be effective. Then you

5:41 Speaker 2: will be able to bring souls into the Kingdom, you

5:44 Speaker 2: will be able to take authority over the schemes of

5:46 Speaker 2: the evil One, you will be able to finish your course. Well,
