0:52 Speaker 2: the Soul of John GIFTAP podcast. I want to talk

0:55 Speaker 2: to you today from the passage that I've been talking

0:58 Speaker 2: to you for the past couple of days. It's in

1:01 Speaker 2: a very important passage, especially as we step into the

1:03 Speaker 2: new year. We talk about the aspect of new beginnings,

1:07 Speaker 2: and one of the scriptures that we often hear is

1:10 Speaker 2: from Isaiah forty three, Verse eighteen and nineteen. Basically, I

1:14 Speaker 2: spoke about verse eighteen in the last two episodes, and

1:18 Speaker 2: today I want to talk about verse nineteen. I want

1:22 Speaker 2: you to go back and check the various aspects with

1:25 Speaker 2: regard to verse eighteen, and today we're going to look

1:27 Speaker 2: at verse nineteen, which most of you might already know this.

1:31 Speaker 2: It's talking about a moment when the Lord says, behold,

1:34 Speaker 2: I'm going to do a new thing, and it springs up,

1:37 Speaker 2: don't you perceive it? But I love the message translation

1:40 Speaker 2: and I want to talk to you from the message translation,

1:42 Speaker 2: and this is what it says, specifically, be alert, be present.

1:48 Speaker 2: I'm about to do something brand new. Be alert, be present.

1:53 Speaker 2: I'm about to do something brand new. It's bursting out,

1:57 Speaker 2: don't you see it? You know. One of the things

2:00 Speaker 2: I want to talk about is that, let me give

2:03 Speaker 2: you an analogy. Right, So, this person I came to

2:06 Speaker 2: know was expecting somebody to come and give them a

2:12 Speaker 2: call and said, you know, we'll meet up, catch up,

2:15 Speaker 2: and then we can have a discussion about a strategy,

2:18 Speaker 2: a new strategy for their business and podcasts. And this

2:23 Speaker 2: is what actually happened. The person was disappointed because he

2:26 Speaker 2: was like, why isn't this person calling me, Why isn't

2:28 Speaker 2: this person, you know, like texting me? Uh and and

2:34 Speaker 2: he was so disappointed, and at the end of the day.

2:37 Speaker 2: He checks his phone and realizes that the other person

2:40 Speaker 2: had actually called them UH several times, a dozen times,

2:44 Speaker 2: and even sent him so many messages, but this person

2:48 Speaker 2: hadn't seen them because the phone was not on alert.

2:52 Speaker 2: The phone was on silent, And he was like, oh,

2:55 Speaker 2: my goodness, I missed an opportunity UH to meet with

2:58 Speaker 2: this person just because us my phone was not on alert.

3:02 Speaker 2: My phone was on silent. Many times in our life

3:06 Speaker 2: we are on silent mode. Regard to God. God wants

3:10 Speaker 2: to speak to us. God wants to tell us things.

3:12 Speaker 2: He wants to give us strategies. He wants to give

3:15 Speaker 2: us a lot of ideas and creativity. He wants us to,

3:20 Speaker 2: you know, do the things in the right way that

3:22 Speaker 2: will help us to see the success that we need

3:25 Speaker 2: to see in and through our life, so that we

3:27 Speaker 2: will live the Christian life that He wants us to live.

3:30 Speaker 2: But the problem is that, you know, we look at

3:33 Speaker 2: the aspect and take the promise of God and say, God,

3:36 Speaker 2: you said in your word that you will make new

3:38 Speaker 2: things in my life. You will bring forth new things.

3:40 Speaker 2: But I'm not seeing that manifesting in my life. You

3:43 Speaker 2: may be saying or from a place where you yourself

3:46 Speaker 2: are disappointed. Every year you're expecting that, you know, God

3:50 Speaker 2: would do something new, something brand new would spring up,

3:53 Speaker 2: but your life seems to be the same. It seems

3:56 Speaker 2: to be extremely mundane. But this is a scripture that

3:59 Speaker 2: I real really go back to, and I've been, like,

4:02 Speaker 2: you know, reminding myself of this. You know what, if

4:05 Speaker 2: God wants to do the new things, he wants to

4:08 Speaker 2: give the new strategies, he wants to speak to me.

4:10 Speaker 2: But the problem is I have been on silent mode,

4:14 Speaker 2: so to speak, where I'm not being on alert mode

4:18 Speaker 2: to listen to the messages, to listen and be notified

4:24 Speaker 2: of his messages. So today that's a challenge I want

4:28 Speaker 2: to leave with you right like you know. That's the

4:31 Speaker 2: reason I spoke about no the first part verse eighteen,

4:34 Speaker 2: which says, you know, forget whatever has happened. And also

4:38 Speaker 2: I spoke about, you know, stop going over old history,

4:41 Speaker 2: because only when you don't allow the past to define

4:46 Speaker 2: your future or to define your present, and only when

4:50 Speaker 2: you allow your mind to be free so that your

4:53 Speaker 2: mind is not constantly going over a whole history of

4:57 Speaker 2: all the hurts, the disappointments, and when you are alert

5:02 Speaker 2: and present when your mind is free. That is the

5:05 Speaker 2: moment when you can actually receive from the Lord. That

5:07 Speaker 2: is the moment when you can actually see God do

5:10 Speaker 2: amazing things and through your life. So today, that's the

5:13 Speaker 2: challenge I want to leave with each one of you

5:15 Speaker 2: as we move into this new year. I want you

5:17 Speaker 2: to have the right perspective. I want you to have

5:20 Speaker 2: the right attitude and the right mindset so that you

5:24 Speaker 2: will experience the new things that God wants to do

5:27 Speaker 2: and through your life. And I pray in the name

5:29 Speaker 2: of Jesus Christ that you will experience new ideas, You

5:32 Speaker 2: will experience new downloads from Heaven. You creative strategic you

5:38 Speaker 2: know strategies. Is that that will really catapul to you

5:42 Speaker 2: to do levels of your destiny that maybe with regard

5:45 Speaker 2: to your dreams, your visions, your your promises, your ministry,

5:50 Speaker 2: your your calling, your purpose, your business, your or even

5:55 Speaker 2: it could be your marriage, your relationships, or anything for

5:58 Speaker 2: that matter under the sun. I pray that you know

6:00 Speaker 2: you will step into this new creative ideas that God

6:04 Speaker 2: wants to do and give you over your life, and

6:07 Speaker 2: maybe you will come back with a testimony and say,

6:09 Speaker 2: you know, the minute I let go of the past.

6:12 Speaker 2: The minute I let my mind be free, to be

6:15 Speaker 2: alert and be present. Look what the Lord did. He

6:19 Speaker 2: brought forth something new. I saw it, I perceived it,

6:22 Speaker 2: and I'm able to walk in it in Jesus' name. Emmen,
