0:49 Speaker 2: Hello everyone, It's wonderful to be here back on the Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta podcast after a pretty long time and be able to resume this podcast. Uh, the we used to be. We used to record sermons and also have some nice Christian interviews and things like that, with over a thousand episodes in the first season, and then we faced a lot of technical challenges for the past almost a year, so I had to try out different things and then finally here I am, and I'm so excited to be here back, and I pray that you will journey with me through this podcast, and I pray that it will continue to be a blessing to you and your family as you continue to be led by the Word of God.

1:36 Speaker 2: As I'm led to share these things. To just sum it up, I want to just start by wishing you and your family very blessed and meaningful twenty twenty five. And I pray that the Lord will continue to lead you, direct your steps and take you to the new levels of the destiny that He has planned for your life. And when I was praying about this year, the word that the Lord put in my spirit was that it's going to be the hear of turnarounds. I just want to let you know this is not just an ordinary word, but this is something I believe it is so powerful because a lot of us are going through seasons.

2:18 Speaker 2: Maybe you may be facing areas in your life where the situation is so bad. Maybe you're praying for a turnaround, a breakthrough, a miracle. You're saying, you know what, situation is just not turning around. Maybe some unanswered prayers in some areas. Maybe you want to see a family member get saved. Do you want to see your ministry or your business to take off. You've been waiting for your dreams to take root, or for the right connections, the right people to step into your life. And you're saying, no matter what I do, things seem to be going under.

2:51 Speaker 2: You may be praying and believing and waiting on the Lord for a long period of time. Maybe you're praying for days, weeks, months, or even kids for that matter. But I want to just challenge you that you know God has not forgotten you. God is faithful to his promises. God is faithful to his word. And that's the assurance that you and I can bank upon as we step into this new year. You know the confidence that, yes, my God is faithful every word that he has promised. People might have let you down. People might have disappointed you.

3:22 Speaker 2: People's words might have just gone down the drain. But I want to tell you that God's word will never ever fail. He is faithful to his word. He is faithful to his promises. He said in his word, you know, heaven and doubt will fade away, but my word will remain forever. That's the assurance that you and I can carry that. You know what, if He has promised good plans for your life, he will make those good plans to come to pass in your life. If He has promised that he will show up in answer your prayers, he will definitely answer your prayers.

3:53 Speaker 2: He will definitely meet your needs. He will definitely bring the right person across your path. He will definitely make sure that you know every vision he has shown you, every dream he deposited within you. He is faithful to guard the word and to fulfill the promise. That's the assurance I want to give you. And I just want to let you know that God knows how to turn things around. God knows how to turn the tables around. He knows how to shoot people across. The other day, I was just going through a hilly pathway.

4:26 Speaker 2: You know, it was like the God section, and you know we had to go in a certain direction, but the road was laid in such a way was it was like it was going in the opposite direction. But what happened was at one point there was an appen bend and the direction today turned around completely. Now that's the word I want to give you, guys, that you know your life may go in just the opposite direction of what you expect, what you believe, what you've been praying for. But God knows how to bring the turn around in your life today.

4:58 Speaker 2: That's the assurance of to leave with you that even if your life seems like nothing is changing, he knows how to turn the tables around. He knows how to shoot people across, he knows how to connect the dots. In fact, in the scripture you can talk about so many examples. When it's Joseph, his life was always in the negative. He saw so many negative things happen. His whole family did not believe in him. His brothers where against him. They were going to the extent of selling him as a slave to a foreign nation.

5:29 Speaker 2: Eventually, in becoming a slave, he is wrongly accused, he's put in prison, and he's forgotten, and he goes through so much of negativity. But in spite of all of that, there was a turnaround in his life. Eventually from mediocrity, God hi staff taking him to the second highest position in the most population in the world of that time, in name Egypt. Or when you think about the moment when God was silent for a long period of time, the silent ages between the Old Testament and the New Testament, and nothing seemed to be happening, But what happened?

6:01 Speaker 2: Suddenly the angel appears, Angel Gabriel appears and gives the word to Zakari and there is a bit initially and then to Mary. Yes the thing right, Like when you think about the way God led for Zacharai and Elizabeth to get John and then eventually to become the Forea and for Christ, here's the reason, you know, here's the thing. You know, even if your life seems like nothing is happening, nothing is turning around. God knows how to turn that He was around. You know, he knows how to shift people across, he knows how to connect the dots, he knows how to make away with there seems to be no way even if your situation seems impossible, like with the case of Zacharai and Elizabeth, they were too old, but God made it impossible in their life.

6:43 Speaker 2: And when you think about Abraham, he was too old, but he was faithful to the promise that God had given him. So that's the word. I want to challenge you guys today that you know every word that God has given you, every promise he has given you, every vision, he has shown you, every day dream he deposited within you. He knows how to turn the tables around, should people across connect the dots and take you to your final destination. So as we step into the new year, I want you to have this assurance that we serve a God of turnarounds and He's definitely going to turn things around in your life.
