0:46 Speaker 2: Hello everyone, Welcome to this edition of the Fuel for the Soul with John Gifta podcast. Bes we are doing this special dive on Valentine's Day, especially if you are a Christian single out there reading on the Lord for the right person to come into your life and you're feeling frustrated. It's another Valentine's Day. You go on the socials and all you can see is a different people posting with their partners or posting maybe engagement photos, or you're looking at your life and saying, oh my goodness, John my ring finger is still empty.

1:15 Speaker 2: Can I tell you something. It may look like that, and you may be feeling frustrated. You may be feeling like, oh my goodness, John, I do not understand what is happening with my life. I don't know if I will never meet the right person, will ever things fall in place. I want you to stay tuned because as the Christian single myself, I know that this is not an easy journey. I've had my share of frustrations and questions, and I know that at the right appointed time, God can bring him the right person into my life, maybe through different means, and he is orchestrating my life, and I'm open to see how the Lord is going to do it, and I challenge you to be the same as well.

1:50 Speaker 2: So a couple of encouragements to the Lord has been sharing, and I want to share them with you. First and foremost, I want you to understand that one of the revelations the Lot showed me recently was so powerful. You know, when you look at the old times, the early times, when you look at when even Mary, for that matter, she was engaged when she was in a late teens. Right, people used to get married between their late teens and probably maximum of twenty two. So twenty was the sweet spot when people used to get married back in the day.

2:21 Speaker 2: Okay, but there was a boy who spent all his late teens and his twenties as a slave and then as a prisoner, that is Joseph. He lost all those sweet spots when he could have probably met someone, probably could have had a happy married life, and he was spending all that time as a prisoner, and before that d he was a slave. It felt like he lost the window of opportunity. Today you may be feeling like you lost your window of opportunity. Maybe there's a sweet spot, like for example, in the Indian culture, sure people get married as a sweet spot of twenty seven.

3:03 Speaker 2: Maybe you're saying, now I'm like past thirty thirty five, or maybe even nearing forty, or maybe you're saying, John, I don't think I can ever see this happening in my life. There'll been so many hurdles. But I want to tell you something. Joseph's story doesn't end that way. He comes out of prison when he's thirty.

3:28 Speaker 1: Now, it would be.

3:29 Speaker 2: Like somebody coming out at maybe forty five today, and you may say, oh, maybe good luck, have a happy rest of your life. And just you know, I know, no, there's no girl available for you. So just you know, just just just live with that. You know, you can never get married, you can never have the joy of having kids. But think about Joseph. It comes out much later from the window of opportunity, like twenty or twenty two should have been the maximum, and people used to get married those days. He's coming out at thirty.

4:08 Speaker 2: God not only gives him the promotion to the palace. God not only gives him the promotion to take up the kingdom with the Pharaoh. You know, right about him and all of those amazing things. The Bible says God blessed him with a wife, a royal wedding. Think about is he got a wedding in the palace, a royal wedding, and he had two children. God did not withhold anything from him. That's the encouragement I wanted to have. Just because there's a delay, that's not mean God has forgotten you. God's timing over your life is different, and he will not withhold any good thing for you.

4:51 Speaker 2: Because you are called of him, you are depending on him, and you're walking up brightly.

4:58 Speaker 2: I want to tell you something if you look at Luke one. I've shared this before in the past, but I want to share this in this light again. It talks about two different cases of babies being born. One is Zakarai and Elizabeth John the Baptist and Jesus being born to Mary. Zakarai and Elizabeth were too old to get a child because and Zakaria says, how is this even possible? We're too old. Whereas Mary, when the angel comes and says you want to parachild, She's like, how is that possible. I'm not even got engaged or married yet.

5:31 Speaker 2: It's too early. What I want you to understand is for somebody it may happened early, for somebody it may happen late. But God's timing is God's timing. Don't loved society or pressure from peer pressure or being in that society timing pressure to make you, you know, jump into some choice. Don't do that. Be led by the Holy Spirit. Wait for God's timing. I'm not saying don't take any steps.

6:03 Speaker 2: I'm not saying just sleep and expect miss universe to come knocking at your door. That's not gonna happen. You got to do your part. See Ruth and Boas.

6:13 Speaker 1: Ruth.

6:13 Speaker 2: If Ruth just stayed with Naomi, she should have not met Boas. They would have never got married. Ruth went to the field. Boas also even though he owned the field, he was not complacent. He was hard working. It's not that he was not there, that he was there. That's how Ruth and Boas met. I want you to understand. You gotta be doing what you're called to do. You gotta be doing what God has put in your heart, your field or purpose. Like Boas owned that field, Ruth went to that field. You need to be in that field, the purpose, the area of your calling, and there you will meet the person that God has for you.

6:52 Speaker 2: You cannot just do nothing and expect miss universe to come knocking at your door. You cannot do nothing and expect God to just magically make somebody appear at your door. You have to be in that place where you allow God to work through you moving. God cannot direct a parked car same way. God will lead you only when you move. So today my challenge is that you pray and ask God what move he wants you to make? Where does he want you to go? Take that step and there. God will lead you there, God will orchestrate.

7:29 Speaker 2: But what if you're saying, John, but what about all the skeletons in my closet, all these baggages in the past. Can I tell you something? When you gave your left to Christ, he cleared your baggages, He cleared your closet. What do I mean by that? See, even if you see Ruth and Boas his story, Ruth had a backstory. She was a widow. Boys had a label that he was too old. He was an old And you may be feeling like, oh, I'm too old, or I maybe doo or a divorcee, or I have all these labels set by society, or my financial status is like this, so I have to stay settle for something, or I'm never it's never going to happen, or it's hard.

8:19 Speaker 2: Can I tell you something. The labels did not stop Ruth and Boas. God will make sure the labels in your life will not stop you. God still has a love story for you. God still has a plan for you. He has a plan for me. He has a plan for you. You never know how and where God can do it. You know, I sometimes I jokingly say, you know, you never know, like what if somebody you know listens to my podcast, watches my YouTube, or you know, sees my videos on socials and your God connects me with that person through that like you, I am like open, like God, you are a God of miracles.

8:55 Speaker 2: But it comes from me putting myself out there, like how Boas was putting himself out there in the field. That's where Ruth came in. So you need to be out there for the route to step into your life, for you to meet with your boss. So I pray in the name of Jesus that this will be an encouragement that no matter what labels people are placed in you, on you, no matter what it looks like, God will do wonders in your life because His plans for you are unimaginable. Unimaginable, no label can stop. Why do I talk about labels.

9:31 Speaker 2: I'll tell you one thing, because I've seen in these mattermoney sits people that put these filters and labels. You know, people should be like, you know, I want only after this this salary scale, or I don't want somebody from this label like you know, like divorce or video or you know, having children or you know, all of these factors or this age group and all of that, but can ethereally something. Don't be discouraged. It may look like it's hard in the natural. It may be hard in the natural. It is hard in the natural.

10:05 Speaker 2: It is impossible in the natural. But we serve a supernatural God. The God who orchestrated Ruth to go into Boaz's field correctly knows how to lead the right person into your life at the right time. Trust him, Trust him, Trust him. Lord.
