1:19 Speaker 2: I do this practically? What do I do? How can

1:22 Speaker 2: this become a reality of my life? Now? I want

1:25 Speaker 2: you to just think about this as an example. Right

1:28 Speaker 2: when you take a bottle, for example, this is such

1:31 Speaker 2: a huge wattle. Yes, the thing, this bottle is filled

1:36 Speaker 2: with water right now, When it is filled with water

1:41 Speaker 2: to the brim, there is no room for you to

1:44 Speaker 2: fill anything else in it. You get what I'm saying.

1:47 Speaker 2: It is completely filled with water. And so when it

1:52 Speaker 2: is completely filled with water on all the sides, you

1:55 Speaker 2: can actually see that it is wet, right, because it

1:59 Speaker 2: obviously is in touch with water. So anything and everything

2:03 Speaker 2: that water comes in contact with ends up becoming wet.

2:07 Speaker 2: You get what I'm saying. It's completely filled. And then

2:10 Speaker 2: eventually when anything and everything that comes in contact with it, like,

2:14 Speaker 2: for example, if you pour water on me right, for example,

2:17 Speaker 2: I'm not going to do that on screen, but what

2:19 Speaker 2: would happen. I would become wet, right, I'll be completely

2:23 Speaker 2: drenched with water if you had to pour this entire

2:26 Speaker 2: bottle of water on me. You get what I'm saying.

2:29 Speaker 2: So I wanted to understand this important thing here. When

2:32 Speaker 2: the Bible says that you and I need to be

2:34 Speaker 2: filled with the Holy Spirit, you need to be in

2:36 Speaker 2: that place like the way a person is drenched with water.

2:40 Speaker 2: When you jump into a pool, you are drenched with water.

2:43 Speaker 2: Everything about you is filled with water. You get what

2:46 Speaker 2: I'm saying. It's the same way you need to be

2:49 Speaker 2: completely filled with the Holy Spirit. You know, if you're

2:52 Speaker 2: seeing Sometimes when you go out, maybe with your group

2:56 Speaker 2: of colleagues in work and things like that, sometimes I've

2:59 Speaker 2: seen the where many of them end up drinking alcoholic drinks. Right.

3:04 Speaker 2: What happens is maybe when they take one shot or

3:07 Speaker 2: two shots, they're, like, you know, in the normal way

3:10 Speaker 2: they can be. But when they keep consuming it over

3:13 Speaker 2: and over with more shots and more quantity of alcohol

3:18 Speaker 2: in their drinks, what happens is they come to a

3:21 Speaker 2: place where they're controlled completely by the alcohol. They do

3:24 Speaker 2: not know what they're saying, they don't know what they're doing,

3:27 Speaker 2: and later on they end up regretting, oh my gosh,

3:30 Speaker 2: under this influence of this alcohol, this is how I behave,

3:34 Speaker 2: This is what I did.

3:35 Speaker 1: You know.

3:36 Speaker 2: That's why the Bible says inefficients don't be drunk, but

3:40 Speaker 2: rather be filled with the Holy Spirit. Because I want

3:43 Speaker 2: you to understand, when you're drunk, you do not know

3:45 Speaker 2: what you're doing, You don't know what you're saying. You

3:47 Speaker 2: end up doing stupid things, you end up getting into trouble.

3:51 Speaker 2: And a lot of times you see when people are

3:54 Speaker 2: dashing on the vehicle, you know, when they meet with

3:57 Speaker 2: accidents because of drunken driving. What have They do not

4:01 Speaker 2: know what they do. They do not know that they

4:03 Speaker 2: were speeding. They do not know that they accelerated instead

4:07 Speaker 2: of putting on the brake. So what I wanted to

4:09 Speaker 2: understand is the same way a person can be filled

4:12 Speaker 2: with the wine and the influence of the alcohol on them,

4:17 Speaker 2: you can be filled with the Holy Spirit to a

4:19 Speaker 2: point where everything and everything that you do is controlled

4:23 Speaker 2: by the Holy Spirit. My question is, are you in

4:28 Speaker 2: that place where you're completely drenched in the Holy Spirit

4:33 Speaker 2: like the way I'm giving you the reference of being

4:36 Speaker 2: drenched in water? Can you be in a place where

4:38 Speaker 2: you're completely influenced by the Holy Spirit like the way

4:42 Speaker 2: I give you the example of people being influenced by alcohol.

4:46 Speaker 2: See think about this because the Bible says something very

4:49 Speaker 2: very important here because when you look at Romans chapter

4:52 Speaker 2: eight or six, especially if you look at the NLTI version,

4:55 Speaker 2: it says a mind controlled by the flesh leads to

4:59 Speaker 2: sin and dead, but a mind controlled by the Spirit

5:02 Speaker 2: leads to life and peace. So my question is, like

5:07 Speaker 2: the wave, when you're controlled by the flesh, you're controlled

5:10 Speaker 2: by alcohol, you're controlled by something else, what happens. Everything

5:17 Speaker 2: is leading you away from the right way to live.

5:20 Speaker 2: Like controlled by the flesh leads you to sin and

5:24 Speaker 2: eventually death. But if you're controlled by the Holy Spirit,

5:27 Speaker 2: your mind is controlled by the Spirit, your heart is

5:29 Speaker 2: controlled by the Holy Spirit, your entire body and everything

5:33 Speaker 2: that you do is controlled by the Holy Spirit. You

5:34 Speaker 2: know what happens. It leads to life and peace. Today,

5:41 Speaker 2: my question is do you have the true life, the

5:46 Speaker 2: Zoe life. Do you have that peace that only Christ

5:51 Speaker 2: can give you to operate in that realm that comes

5:57 Speaker 2: by being filled with the Holy Spirit, when you're controlled

6:00 Speaker 2: by the Holy Spirit, so that your mind is controlled

6:04 Speaker 2: by Him so that you will not go Or is

6:07 Speaker 2: it like I give this analogy with this bottle filled

6:11 Speaker 2: with water. If a bottle is filled with water, there's

6:14 Speaker 2: no room for something else you know to be filled

6:20 Speaker 2: same way, when you are completely filled with the Holy Spirit,

6:23 Speaker 2: there's no room for evil spirits to come near you.

6:25 Speaker 2: There's no room for any other negative thing to come

6:28 Speaker 2: near you. So if you're not having peace, you're filled

6:31 Speaker 2: with worry and anxiety, maybe you're not completely filled with

6:35 Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit. You need to be in a place

6:38 Speaker 2: where you're intentionally filling yourself with more of the Holy Spirit.

6:44 Speaker 2: Maybe if there are areas where sin is overtaking you,

6:47 Speaker 2: you're not able to break that addiction. Maybe this lack

6:50 Speaker 2: of self control is probably because you are not completely

6:57 Speaker 2: filled with the Holy Spirit to a point where the

6:59 Speaker 2: Holy Spirit is leading you and the fruit of the Spirit,

7:02 Speaker 2: which is self control, comes out through your life. My

7:07 Speaker 2: challenge to you today is this, can you get to

7:10 Speaker 2: that place where you're intentional about being filled with the

7:13 Speaker 2: Holy Spirit? Say Lord, I don't want to be controlled

7:18 Speaker 2: by my own flesh. I don't want to be controlled

7:21 Speaker 2: by my own desires, which sometimes ends up being, you know,

7:25 Speaker 2: things that divert you from what God wants to do

7:27 Speaker 2: over your life. I don't want to be controlled by

7:30 Speaker 2: the pleasures of the world. I don't want to be

7:32 Speaker 2: controlled by anything that does not align with your word,

7:36 Speaker 2: your standard, your principles. But I want to be controlled

7:40 Speaker 2: by your spirit. So when you give yourself into his

7:43 Speaker 2: hands and allow him to lead you, guide, you, teach you,

7:46 Speaker 2: mold you. What happens is you will be able to

7:49 Speaker 2: live the life like the Bible says, a mind controlled

7:51 Speaker 2: by the spirit leads to life. You'll be able to

7:54 Speaker 2: live that abundant life, the victorious life, victorious over sin, addiction, curse, condemnation,

8:02 Speaker 2: lack and everything. And you will be able to have

8:07 Speaker 2: that peace, to have that right mental space, peace, joy,

8:16 Speaker 2: and you'll be able to live the kind of life

8:18 Speaker 2: that Christ came to give you. So today my challenge

8:22 Speaker 2: is to introspect your life, yourself, how you filled with

8:26 Speaker 2: the Holy Spirit. Now, I just want to close with this.

8:30 Speaker 2: You may ask how can I be filled with the

8:32 Speaker 2: Holy Spirit? Very simple say Holy Spirit, fill me up.

8:37 Speaker 2: Holy Spirit, fill me up. And if you are someone

8:40 Speaker 2: who operates in tongues, with the more you speak in tongues,

8:44 Speaker 2: that's a great way to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

8:48 Speaker 2: If you want to feed on the Word and learn

8:51 Speaker 2: and grow, that's another great way. The Holy Spirit is

8:55 Speaker 2: going to take control of you, the Word is going

8:58 Speaker 2: to take complete control of your worldview, your thought process.

9:04 Speaker 2: The Holy Spirit will take complete control. So my challenge

9:06 Speaker 2: is in every area, allow the Holy Spirit to control

9:12 Speaker 2: your mind, your heart, your peace. See sometimes people say,

9:17 Speaker 2: like when you watch something, you know, if you're watching

9:20 Speaker 2: a movie or a series. Now, sometimes what happens people

9:22 Speaker 2: are constantly thinking about that, like, oh, I've seen this episode,

9:27 Speaker 2: I can't wait to see what's going to happen in

9:28 Speaker 2: the next episode. Or sometimes I've seen people, especially when

9:34 Speaker 2: I was in the university, in the residential university, what

9:37 Speaker 2: happens is I see different kinds of students. And one

9:40 Speaker 2: of the things I can remember was one of my

9:42 Speaker 2: roommates he was so engrossed in some of those video games.

9:47 Speaker 2: He would wake up in the middle of the night

9:50 Speaker 2: thinking about something and you will start setting off his

9:53 Speaker 2: laptop and start playing. You know, there were times like

9:56 Speaker 2: for you know, twelve hours, eighteen hours non stop. He

10:00 Speaker 2: would play thinking about it like he's like, oh, I

10:03 Speaker 2: should do this, I should do that, Like the mind

10:06 Speaker 2: controlled by that video game. Same way, if you can

10:11 Speaker 2: be in a place where you can be controlled completely

10:13 Speaker 2: by the Holy Spirit, think about how he's going to

10:17 Speaker 2: lead you. He's going to tell you this is the

10:18 Speaker 2: way you need to go, This is the direction you

10:20 Speaker 2: need to go, This is the move you need to make.

10:23 Speaker 2: This is the person you need to talk to. This

10:24 Speaker 2: is what you need to say to them when you meet,

10:27 Speaker 2: so then your life will be more effective and more powerful.

10:31 Speaker 2: I really recommend you to live that life where you're

10:35 Speaker 2: filled with the Holy Spirit and your life will never

10:37 Speaker 2: be the same ever. Again, I really recommend you to
