0:58 Speaker 2: progressive the society yes become. Things that used to be

1:02 Speaker 2: unacceptable are suddenly cherished and people are celebrating it. Things

1:06 Speaker 2: that our abomination to God's standards are such a thing

1:11 Speaker 2: that the Lord hates and detests are actually put on

1:15 Speaker 2: a high pedestal and said, you know what, look this

1:18 Speaker 2: person is so the confident in putting themselves out there

1:21 Speaker 2: in a way that they would never do maybe years ago.

1:25 Speaker 2: I want you to understand something very important here. As

1:28 Speaker 2: much as we love to celebrate certain things, Yes, this

1:31 Speaker 2: society has progressed in a lot of good ways, a

1:35 Speaker 2: lot of social evils have been dealt with, But sadly,

1:40 Speaker 2: a lot of people are going on the other path

1:43 Speaker 2: in terms of progression, in terms of evolution, and all

1:46 Speaker 2: of these in the way they think, to a point

1:48 Speaker 2: where things have gotten away from the standard that God

1:52 Speaker 2: has set. Say, I want you to understand the Scripture

1:55 Speaker 2: says in John seventeen seventeen that the word of God

1:59 Speaker 2: is absolute standard of truth. God's words should be our standard.

2:04 Speaker 2: As much as we love to trumpet the fact that

2:06 Speaker 2: the world has progressed and the world is accepting of

2:09 Speaker 2: so many things which are an abomination to God's standards,

2:13 Speaker 2: sometimes we have to be careful that just because the

2:16 Speaker 2: world celebrates something, it doesn't mean it's right. It doesn't

2:20 Speaker 2: mean that it is in accordance to the moral and

2:23 Speaker 2: ethical standards and the principles based on which God has

2:27 Speaker 2: designed for us to function. So today I want you

2:30 Speaker 2: to be careful because as much as you need to

2:33 Speaker 2: be in a position where you allow your mind to

2:36 Speaker 2: be evolved and the law to renew your mind to

2:40 Speaker 2: understand things from you know, having that negative mindset and

2:46 Speaker 2: areas where God has to develop you and all of that.

2:48 Speaker 2: There's a place for all of that, but you should

2:51 Speaker 2: also be careful that you don't deviate to a point

2:55 Speaker 2: where the Word of God is no longer the constitution

2:57 Speaker 2: of your life. I wanted to understand the same way.

3:00 Speaker 2: The constitution of a country is the skeleton or the

3:04 Speaker 2: backbone of a country. Every decision has to be made

3:08 Speaker 2: in accordings to that. For example, as a preacher, if

3:12 Speaker 2: you're in India, right, the Constitution says in article twenty

3:16 Speaker 2: five that you have the right to practice, profess and

3:20 Speaker 2: preach your faith. Right, So the Constitution is the backbone

3:24 Speaker 2: by which I'm doing what I'm doing. The same constitution

3:28 Speaker 2: prevents me like certain articles are keeping me away from

3:34 Speaker 2: taking the life of somebody else. I think, like article

3:36 Speaker 2: twenty one. So think about this for a minute. Right,

3:40 Speaker 2: it's the same way. The Constitution is the anchor. The

3:43 Speaker 2: constitution is the backbone, the skeleton for a nation. The

3:48 Speaker 2: Word of God should be the backbone and the skeleton

3:51 Speaker 2: for our life. Because as much as we trumpet things

3:56 Speaker 2: we celebrate. We will not celebrate if someone breaks a

3:58 Speaker 2: constitution law right. We won't celebrate when a ruler uses

4:03 Speaker 2: the constitution against the people. We don't celebrate that same way.

4:08 Speaker 2: When the Word of God is a standard, we should

4:11 Speaker 2: not celebrate anything that does not align with the Word

4:14 Speaker 2: of God, that's not aligned with the standard that is mentioned,

4:18 Speaker 2: does not align with the principles that are meant to

4:22 Speaker 2: be kept in the way they're supposed to be. Say,

4:26 Speaker 2: I want you to think about this in your life.

4:28 Speaker 2: Sometimes you may say, John, this is a generic stace sermon.

4:31 Speaker 2: It doesn't really make any difference for me. I love

4:35 Speaker 2: the Lord and I'm doing things Yes, maybe true, and

4:37 Speaker 2: I'm grateful to God for you. But I want you

4:40 Speaker 2: to think about areas in your life where you're making

4:44 Speaker 2: decisions that you think are in the Word of God,

4:48 Speaker 2: or they're based out of the Word of God, But

4:50 Speaker 2: are they actually based out of the Word of God.

4:53 Speaker 2: Maybe you could be just compelled or pressured or manipulated

4:58 Speaker 2: just by culture or edition or by family. There are

5:02 Speaker 2: a lot of people who fall into all of that.

5:05 Speaker 2: So you need to really re evaluate the decisions you make,

5:08 Speaker 2: the choices you make, are they lining up with the

5:11 Speaker 2: standard of the Word. Are they lining up with what

5:14 Speaker 2: God has intended in this word? Because people can twist

5:18 Speaker 2: the scripture. People can say one thing, t carry pick

5:21 Speaker 2: the word that they want and throw off something that

5:24 Speaker 2: they don't want. You have to be very careful that

5:28 Speaker 2: the Scripture says in two Timothy three, sixteen and seventeen

5:32 Speaker 2: that all scripture is of the inspiration of God, not

5:35 Speaker 2: some not the things you like, not a few of them,

5:38 Speaker 2: not all scripture. So you have to be cautious that

5:42 Speaker 2: though the entirety of the Scripture is the backbone of

5:46 Speaker 2: your life, every decision you make, every move you take,

5:50 Speaker 2: every choice that you are making, it should honor the

5:54 Speaker 2: Lord and stick to the standard that is prescribed in

5:58 Speaker 2: the Word of God. So I want it think about this.

6:00 Speaker 2: And one more thing I want to say is sometimes

6:02 Speaker 2: we are not intentionally going into deception. We're not saying, oh,

6:06 Speaker 2: let me get deceived, let me go and you know,

6:09 Speaker 2: fall into this kind of a scam. No, no, we

6:12 Speaker 2: don't do that, right. We say, oh, I'm a child

6:14 Speaker 2: of God, I read the word, I pray, I go

6:17 Speaker 2: to church. I love the Lord with all my heart.

6:19 Speaker 2: All of that is true, But sometimes what happens is

6:22 Speaker 2: we live in a society. We live in a world

6:24 Speaker 2: which tries to feed in propaganda through the news, through

6:29 Speaker 2: shows and programs, so many things. I still remember a

6:33 Speaker 2: couple of years ago, I started watching this show on

6:37 Speaker 2: the I think Amazon Prime or something, and it was

6:41 Speaker 2: a very good show. There were so many things that

6:44 Speaker 2: I'm still thinking back and saying how this was instrumental

6:48 Speaker 2: in me learning about God in a certain way and

6:52 Speaker 2: also to have that heart to live the life of

6:55 Speaker 2: purpose and all of that. It was good in its

6:58 Speaker 2: own way. But after a while, this show started bringing

7:01 Speaker 2: in propaganda, started convincing me of certain things which were

7:05 Speaker 2: against God's word. But it convinced me or twisted my

7:08 Speaker 2: mind to think that, you know what, oh, I should

7:11 Speaker 2: change my mind about this topic. I shouldn't think of

7:14 Speaker 2: it this way. That is too narrow minded. And it

7:17 Speaker 2: started changing my outlook of a lot of things to

7:20 Speaker 2: a point where I really wanted to think that certain

7:23 Speaker 2: things which are an abomination to God's word, I thought,

7:26 Speaker 2: we're actually fine. And then the Lord had to stop

7:30 Speaker 2: me and pause and re evaluate my choices because you

7:35 Speaker 2: never know. You may be watching something innocently, but the

7:39 Speaker 2: enemy is using that to twist your mind, to change

7:42 Speaker 2: your perspective, to make you think something which is a

7:46 Speaker 2: sin as if it's not a sin anymore. So my

7:49 Speaker 2: challenge to you today is before you watch anything, even

7:52 Speaker 2: as you step into this month and you watch, or

7:55 Speaker 2: you come across different propaganda and all of those things,

7:58 Speaker 2: or maybe you have close friends who are involved in

8:01 Speaker 2: things that you know are not the right as for

8:03 Speaker 2: the Word of God, I challenge you to be cautious.

8:06 Speaker 2: I challenge you to be filled with discernment so that

8:09 Speaker 2: you will make sure that you live your life not

8:12 Speaker 2: based on what the world says, but live your life

8:15 Speaker 2: based on what the Word of God says. I really

8:18 Speaker 2: challenge you to share this with someone who needs to

8:20 Speaker 2: hear this, and I also encourage you to leave a
