1:00 I don't know how many of you love ice creams, but I love ice

1:02 creams. And if you gave me ice cream at any given point of time,

1:06 I would love it. But at the same time, if you gave

1:10 me chocolate flavor of ice cream, I would be on cloud nine. I

1:15 would be so excited. I would be so happy, and I'll be like,

1:22 Wow, I want to get some more scoops of ice cream. I

1:26 want to get something as much as I can. Why what is the difference?

1:32 I allow ice creams, but if you give me the chocolate flavor of

1:36 ice cream. I like it even more. The difference is the fact that

1:41 this is my favorite flavor. This is something that I delight in. It's

1:46 not just like any ice cream that gives me normal level of satisfaction and pleasure,

1:53 but it's like a delightful treat. Now, I want to just share

1:57 a few scriptures with you to help you on the and something that I would

2:00 really love you, guys, to have as your perspective on how God sees

2:06 you and how God is looking at you and what God feels about you.

2:10 Because we live in a time and age where so many people put us down.

2:15 We look at all these ideal scenarios or what is mentioned as the standards

2:21 said by Hollywood, or all these Bollywood and Nollywood and all the different woods

2:28 out there, you know. But the truth of the matter is our standard

2:31 is not defined by Hollywood or Bollywood or Nollywood. It is defined by the

2:36 one who died for us on a piece of wood, that is Jesus Christ.

2:39 Right. So God loves you and that's the standard for us and his

2:46 love. He has spoken over it, and he has mentioned it through his

2:50 word. When you look at Steph and I are Chapter three, verse seventeen,

2:53 and I'm reading from the Nalty version, and this is what it says.

2:57 For the Lord, your God is living among you, is a mighty

3:00 savior. And this is the line I want you to understand. He will

3:05 take delight in you with gladness. He will take delight in you with gladness

3:13 with his love. He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over

3:16 you with joyful songs. I love this part which says I'm just going to

3:22 focus on one part in this episode. I want to talk about how God

3:27 says. You know, the word of the Lord says he will take delight

3:30 in you. Like I said, the word delight in itself is so awesome.

3:37 The word delight, when you look at the meaning, it means great

3:39 pleasure, okay, which means first of all, I was like, okay,

3:44 what does pleasure mean? Okay, When you look at the meaning of

3:46 the word pleasure, it means a feeling of happy, satisfaction and enjoyment.

3:53 Pleasure means happy satisfaction and enjoyment. And delight means great pleasure, which means

4:03 great level, a greater degree, a greater feeling of happy satisfaction and enjoyment.

4:11 That is what God feels about you. I want you to think about

4:14 it. We always look at God in this sense that he's always angry with

4:18 you. He's mad at you. He's waiting to see you make mistakes and

4:21 punish you. And you know, that's the kind of picture we have.

4:25 See. I understand God is our daddy God, and as every father wants

4:30 to discipline his children, God would discipline you and I so that we will

4:34 be on track, so that we don't run away make poor choices. That's

4:40 always there. But the truth is He is a loving father. You cannot

4:44 deny that. And it says here that when God sees you, he's not

4:49 mad at you. He's not angry with you. He's not always coming from

4:55 a place where we have this picture that God is always against us. No.

4:58 You see, when God sees you, he says that he delights in

5:04 you. And the word delight means he has a feeling of happy, satisfaction

5:10 and enjoyment in a greater degree, great pleasure away. It's like saying I

5:18 love ice creams. Ice screams give me joy, satisfaction and happiness, but

5:28 when it is the chocolate flavor of ice cream, it gives me a greater

5:32 decree of joy and happiness. If if you gave me normal flavor of ice

5:36 cream, I would say, okay, one screwp fine, I'm happy about

5:40 it. But if it's chocolate flavor, can I get two scoops please?

5:46 Or three scoops? If it's okay, you know why because it gives me

5:49 that extra joy, extra pleasure and satisfaction that is so unexplainable it comes like

6:00 wow. Right. I wanted to understand that God is not mad at you

6:04 or against you. When God looks at you, you are his favorite flavor

6:11 of ice cream. You are his favorite flavor of ice cream. So today

6:15 I pray that every wrong misconception you will have about how God sees you,

6:19 let it be broken, let it be crushed. And I pray that you

6:24 will see yourself the way God sees you, that you are his favorite flavor

6:30 of ice cream right, because He delights in you, and I will catch
